Here is an easy step-by-step explanation of how to install and set up the FlashX hazard flasher from Race Dynamics on the KTM 390 Adventure. I also give some tips on how to keep all the wires tidy.

Thank you for this, all the bikes I have owned in the past few years have had hazard flashing as standard. I haven't actually got any room left under may seat for the flash module as I use it for the dash cam unit. What I can't understand is why KTM can't just put hazard flashing into a update for the dashboard. Surely all the wiring is there including the handlebar switch and it could be done in software, although the indicators would probably flash at a different rate, which wouldn't matter much.
I know right! It shouldn't be difficult given the amount of electronics they've already loaded into it...
The other thing you could do is place the FlashX behind the fairing, in the tail. But that will mean dismantling the tail panels... if you are up for it 🙂

You didn't show anything about tail light integration part.. as it has an option to integrate tail light too.. it would have been better if you gave those details
Hi Vinay, tail light integration depends on the pattern you select. Not all patterns have it. The pattern I have shown has tail light integration

For the Pulsar you can find many after market solutions - your local mechanic will be able to help you, but I dont know if you will get switch integration. you might have to install an additional switch. All the best! :)

Is it possible to turn off tail light flickering and turn indicator hazard function alone ?
Yes, there about 60 patterns on the FlashX. You will have to shuffle through and find it. I personally like the tail light flicker

can you show how install aux light with wiring harness, my main issue is to know where is the ignition wire
Hi Nihar, I haven't installed aux lights because of lockdown. I thought I'll make the purchase when I can travel again 😁
But by ignition wire, if you mean the aux connector, its behind the headlight. You have to open the screws between the 2 lights, and the wire will be tucked away (a bit difficult to find sometimes)
These will correspond to the aux wire under the rear seat (as shown in my video)

will it work with the adv 250
I don't know honestly. I made this video much before the 250ADV was launched. You can message racedynamics on Instagram and ask. They are quite prompt
Do we get a default hazard lights from ktm like the ones in car??
No we don't. That's why RaceDynamics has this plug n play module. Its one of the -ve points on the 390 ADV vis a vis the Himalayan.

Will it effect the battery of the bike?
Hi Mohammad, no it doesn't draw any power from the battery so it won't affect it. Further, the lights are all LED's so they don't draw much power anyway.
