This was extremely helpful. I bought RVLife just for the RV safe GPS - but I was getting frustrated that it wasn't showing me fuel stops - especially when traveling through large rural areas with no cell service or humans around. You totally changed how I'm going to plan out my routes utilizing this tool I already bought. Wish I could buy you a beer and give you a hug. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
This is nice and thank you, I just join up on RVLife, the one thing that I do and I guess it's okay is I put in my starting point and where I want to end up at and from their after it plan an route for me I go along the plan route and put in all of the campgrounds along my route but I'm still learning.
Interesting tool, thanks for sharing! Full timer here moving weekly around the country and currently I use a mix of google maps, sheets, campendium, and state websites for parks/national forests. Certainly seems like those using this should be checking the campground at each step to see if there's actually availability there for around those dates. Would stink to plan out a whole year of trips to find out that half or more of the campsites are booked full and you have to choose different ones (although seems this tool is flexible to adjust to that to lessen the pain). Happy travels!
Retiring soon and plan to do some traveling with something (MH or trailer). Love the explanation and shortcuts and I am already planning my trips for 2023!
Great job. Just used it for our trip to West Yellowstone. It would be nice if they could integrate Harvey's Host and Boondockers Welcome locations. I had to run 2 browsers side by side to plan our stays.
Great video - very helpful. How do you show parks but turn of the pop ups so you can move your curser around without the park pop ups unless you click on them?
Great video! I am definitely getting that as soon as I know our trailer specs. So happy for you to be visiting Mackinaw! We go there every year. (last year twice!) ❤️
That's a really cool program!! I'll have to look into that. I usually just kind of figure it out as we go haha or only plan out specific trips. Never used a program though. Thank you for sharing!!
Great video! We are picking up our teardrop camper in June. Obviously not full time in it but definitely plan to travel around. This is a great app for anyone.
Thank you both for sharing the Rv Trip Wizard. That looks like a good feature to have to help find Rv planning. By planning your trips campgrounds and so on. I do see if it works if you don’t have an Rv and want to use it for vehicles. Thank you again Wil and Jen for doing this video.
I so wish you guys could be at the Grand Opening of RV one in Newtown Ct today. As a subscriber to your channel I would have loved to meet you and just say hello. Anyway... great video on how to plan trips and navigate that app.
We’re sorry we couldn’t make it! But we will probably be up there at some point to record videos and we’ll try to do a meet up when we come up. Connecticut is beautiful so we would love to make it up there.
We do use this program. Easy to use and definitely if you need to make changes. Only problem is that we cannot download our trip to our Garmin RV gps. No idea why not. Safe travels. We’re going to Margaritaville 4/7-411. Going into RvOne on 4/8 for some minor tweaks.
That is an awesome tool with all the things you need. You can go nuts is you are an overplanner like me. A follow up would to film a trip with the tool tracking.
Great video. We do the same process with the exception I use the lock after I reserve a campground. That way when I look at my schedule I know which ones I still need to do. I still have to run Harvest Host (for travel days) and Compendium and RV Parky on another tab as they have other options when all the ones on RV Trip Wizard are full.
The tool is great for planning motorcycle trips (sort of an RV). Great tutorial video. I do wish it supported hotels/motels along with campgrounds as I do not "camp" on motorcycle trips.
So, wondering how it looks when you turn phone off after you've finished with route. Then opening it to find the route you just planned. How do you start you trip you just created m
Just stumbled on this video. How I missed it in the past, I'm not sure, because I am subscribed to both you and Matt's videos. But I thought I would let you know that I am subscribed to Passport America and they also have a similar app that my be used. I often use two or three sites and GPS because I find some give different routes. I am usually the navigator and have to watch the road signs for turn offs and etc. I really like to especially have Waze running on my phone so that it helps with real time traffic. I have been watching for and haven't seen you mentioned once that you were going to show how to make your drawers so neat. If you did it, could you show me how to get there from here? thank you so much in advance.
can you tell me how I can archive a trip? I have the list of all my active and past trips and when I click on the three dots its gives me option to delete or open but I cant find where to move it to the archive tab.
Very helpful video, thank you. RV Life has great customer service. I haven't signed up yet, but they answered a question I had within 5 minutes. I've been waiting 4 days for a representative of their primary competition app to respond to a problem with the route not showing on the map, desktop version. So I'm going with RV Life. Question: The mileage listed, for example 428, 316, 607 and 725, I take it that's the distance between stops. Do you guys drive 607 or 725 miles in one day? That seems like a lot. In the Driving Time Estimates fields, your route shows 6 hours average driving per day. The app doesn't flag any stops where the traveling distance is over 330 miles. Obviously someone can look at the route planner and see that, but I'm just curious whether there's any sort of alert about exceeding planned maximum distance.
We want to go from Fremont ca to Paso robles and the to Lee vining. Rv trip wizard wants us to go a different way. We want to go up 395 How who we adjust the freeway/highway
Great video, but you stopped after putting all your stops in. Now what. That's as far as I have been able to get. I plan but then how do you navigate?????? This phone app is difficult to use and has ZERO instructions. I want a video on how to hit the navigate button. Thanks.
So how much were you paid to recommend this crap? This has got to be one of the worst navigation apps ever! I tried it based on yours and other UA-camr recommendations. First it doesn’t find POIs along your route, you have to zoom in and do that manually. It’s mileage notes make absolutely zero sense. Worst of all, when using the app it was just randomly take you off the highway onto a 3 hour back road trip just to go back to the highway again. People save your money, apple and google are better. If you’re concerned about low passes buy a Garmin RV GPS.

Does it show Boondockers Welcome and Harvest Host places?
Late the the channel, but thank you for the great content!

Thanks! I use RV LIFE Trip Wizard for all my RV trips, and I learned more tips today.
Thanks! Just getting ready to us this program. Jen, great instructor!
Great tutorial! I love TV Life! Worth every penny!!!
A very interesting tool and a GREAT video! Love you folks! Thank you!
We are currently using this app and love it! It is definitely worth it's weight in gold!!
Thanks for the demo, great tool!
I loved this video! Really cleared up my questions and we subscribed to the trip wizard!
thanks
I love this app. Planed our big trip across the US.
There were a few things you helped me to look at. Thank You for all your help.
Does it have a filter for RV parks that allow dogs?
Too bad she didn’t answer you, but the answer is yes.
GREAT VIDEO TUTORIAL THANK YOU 😊

Great video, super helpful. Will it work in Canada?
very well done. thanks
Great video. We do the same process with the exception I use the lock after I reserve a campground. That way when I look at my schedule I know which ones I still need to do. How do you put the planned trip into the RV GPS phone App? Great detailed video, thank you!
I agree with your question. It is supposed to download to the Garmin devices for RV’s but doesn’t.
We prefer the free RV Parky!
Great video
Towing 14k on regular unleaded.
Great job on video.

How do you get the route from RV trip wizard to Garmin or any other GPS?
What about getting around low clearance?
There is a filter for that.

Hi, whats the name and model of your truck?
12:18 I really don't see any difference from google map's search nearby. 🙄
Does the planner work in Canada
