Whatever she performed on Cinema was a class and mesmerizing. She did every dancing step with utmost clarity for us the viewers that we are still spell bound to such a magnificent class of work for Indian cinema Sridevi did. No other actress can be matched with her legacy whether its dance or acting. I am from Pakistan here we watched her movies only to watch Sridevi not for her costars who worked with her in those movies. As her presence on screen was so luminous that all of her heroes were overshadowed by her.

@@Analysis_Paralysis Much like with ballet most classically trained Bharatnatyam dancers will start with their training in early childhood at around 6 years old (some start much earlier though) and it takes at least about 5-8 years to become somewhat proficient

This is a remake of a Telugu movie Saptapadi, a classic which waa way ahead of its times. Sridevi was excellent but the original is beyond comparison. The Telugu version is a must watch movie for art lovers.
