I can't imagine dreaming of becoming blind. And finding a doctor to actually help you go blind?!! That Dr needs to lose his license!!
As a blind woman who was born blind, I can say being blind has its perks, but it can be really alienating, even if your the only blind person in your intire family. If I ever came across this woman, I would punch her.
Damn! She definitely didn't get enough therapy! And why does that freaking doctor still have a license to practice psychiatry ???
I don't care that she "warned" people not to do what she did at the end! Most of the program showed how happy she was with her decision and that's going to push some poor mixed up and mentally ill person to disable themselves 🤬

She should have donated her eyes 2 someone that would have appreciated them. I cried when I was told I could go blind at anytime (macular edema-from diabetes), I thought of all the beautiful things I would not b able 2 see again. It's like a slap n the face what this woman did.

As a person who’s disabled (not by fucking choice!) who desperately wishes they weren’t. Seeing this kind of shit pisses me off. The Psychologist who “helped” her, better have been thrown in the slammer. I swear to god, I be losing my faith in humanity more and more, day by day.😤
