Tractors on the beach picking up the crabbing boats in the early 70's. Model Pond Yacht sailing. Beach huts. Middle of the Road concert near the pier (perhaps it was for the carnival). I recall Randalls shop - where they had the most excellent selection of yachts - which I (well, my parents) couldn't afford.
