It's really good for players to have something ready to go post-career. Too often we see amazing athletes with great talent struggle with post career employment, and only so many can wind up on the football media circuit or in coaching. This is a really insightful and interesting vid for us fans, but hopefully the players themselves look at this and remember they have 4, 5, 6 decades to live post career and need to fund it somehow.
All players are either studying for life after football or completing a trade whilst playing, clubs kinda make sure of this these days.

Consulting takes in a lot of athletes and they all thrive in the environment. All are incredibly driven and hard working.
Not a dee's supporter but loads of respect. Very pragmatic view on things.
What a man. Champion Melbourne player, great bloke. I love the effort to do something like this. Man it's inspiring.
This is great. Haven't seen a series like this before! Really great message Jack sends out by doing this. Love it!
Truly a great champion.Great family great Great team player
i thought this was a pisstake from the title, even 4 minutes in i couldnt tell if it was satire but a great video!
This was awesome insight. Thanks for putting this together. I wonder if we'll see more of this in the future with different players.
In former days, VFL players also had full time jobs when football alone couldn't financially sustain them. I expect that developed strength of character and well adjusted members of society.
Awesome piece of content! Onya Jack.
good to see him catch the train and tram like normal people
Not sure Deloitte would be the place for a man with the awesome integrity of Viney, there'll be a value mismatch there with Deloitte not afraid to 'bend' the rules
Deloitte would be lucky to have him, the straightest of arrows.
He seems way too straight for a big accounting firm.
@@Ash_18037what does that even mean? Lol
@@ozgecko4050 do you not follow the news?
Video title should be: "Footballer learns how to be a slave to powerpoint."
Brilliant content from a non dees fan love it
Wouldn’t be surprised if this bloke ends up earning more after his career which is rare for Pro Athletes.
Wouldn't be making much at Deloitte
What a legend! Surely he went to a Friday drinks after work?
Nothing better.
🔥
Stizzerly good form by the boys at the park too, get them on the reserves list
It’s like what Peter Bell says, football is a privilege, you’ll never know when your career ends. Always good to have a backup, a plan B
The heartbeat of the Dees 🔥😈
Goodd stuff

It's great to experience a different career for a while. But in a corporation like this unless you manage to rise above the peasants you better get used to hot desking, faulty desks/chairs/screens, distracting open plan offices, school lockers, clean desk police, timesheets, mandatory compliance, HR stupidity, meeting room booking battles etc. I guess that's why there is so much clambering to climb the ladder in these places, who wants to be treated like a untrustworthy school kid for their entire career.
100%
Looks a bit like Robert Pattinson from the side
they should have enough money invested so they dont even have to work after football. the rest of us have to but they shouldnt have to
Never working again at 35 isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. You need challenge and stimulus or you go nuts or end up alcoholic . It’s not like he’s a billionaire that can jet around the world doing crazy stuff. He’s gunna have a house and car and a couple mil in the bank if he’s lucky. Comfortable yeah but it’s not like winning 100m on powerball
@@muntjunk-plk3171 if you have a million invested you'll never have to work again. I'm retired. Don't miss work. I enjoy life
Toff club, toff company
