First he applied conjugation on both sides in the 2nd step.So j becomes -j.
In the 3rd step, he replaced w with -w
@@umeshbhati2597 just to get e^ -w in the RHS so the RHS becomes the Fourier transform of x*(t)

in the conjugation section why didn't you put j as -j for LHS when you took conjugation on both sides in the same way you put w as -w

Oh I get it now, it's for the sake of proof. It becomes non FT though, that is why we say f -> -f
how come you can just switch the sign of w
as long as you are adding minus to both sides it should be alright, so if there wasn't any w on the other side to do so then yea you were right
