    Here is the classic DIY project I think everybody should try to do. I this video I'm showing you my attempt to make cufflinks from bullet shells. There are lots of variations of this DIY on the internet.

    Very nice brother! Did you just use normal solder to join brass with brass or do I need a specific one? I need to make these too!!! :)

    You should probably clear coat it. I made a necklace out of a piece of .30-06 brass a while back. Sweat corroded the brass, turned my chest green, and I had to polish it all over again.

    Looking back on this... my problem is you're using a 40 cal. You're like that confused middle child that doesn't know which way to go, so you play it safe and take the middle.

    why didnt you use a hacksaw to cut the shells ? also those are not fucking bullets are cartridges or shells

    Those were .40 cal, and to be period correct they need to be .45ACP.

    what is the dimensions of the square brass and the brass sheets?

      I don't remember. As long as it feats in to the cufflink hole and hold the cuff it's ok

      +W8DEY It's some basic tools everybody should have in their house. Or it's easy to source by borrowing from your friends or neighbours.

      Many gun ranges sell casings if you don't want to buy the real ammo and get the casing yourself. Other than that I guess you could get it online.

      Or just find a place that people shoot outside. Many shooters don't bother to pick up the brass when they shoot and i pick it up quite often when I go out shooting.
