- Hey what's up!? It's been awhile since I posted so sorry for the wait. Here's my review of all 8 Playmates Universal Studio Monsters/TMNT figures. I discuss how some of the accessories come from the films and give brief information about some of the movies. I review all 8 of these figures both MOC and loose. That's right, I open them up.

That's insane. A few weeks ago, I finally got an _Invisible Man Michaelangelo_ to complete my collection of the original Universal Monsters waves. The card has some flaws, but it's still MOC. I thought I got a deal. Individually, _Invisible Man Michaelangelo, the Mutant Raphael,_ and _Black Lagoon Leo_ each ended up setting me back around $250 a piece. I couldn't believe my luck on that. The deal you got is ridiculous.
I only had Mummy Raph and I loved that it glows in the dark.

It’s a great set of variants. I only wish Don didn’t get the shaft in series 2. He could have been the Phantom, but then I guess him being Dracula and the Phantom would be kind of similar clothing.
Just had this thought: Maybe Neca could make a Movie Tokka creature of the black lagoon + wolfman Rahzar.

Since they seem to have based the new Universal Monster turtles off the versions from the OG movie, I’d hope that would be the case!!
@@Lacquerhead-ec4db Looks like that won't be happening, though. A few days ago Daniel Horne, an artist who works for Neca, posted drawings of Wolfman Raph and Creature Leo, so looks like those are coming in wave 2.

Thank you! I have a few moc figures but not much. I’d rather most of everything I have to be loose. Moc are cool, but they begin to take up way too much space. It’s cool being able to display everything close together.
Also on Invisible Man Mike his little disappearing chemistry set the bottle says ‘eau de invisible’ like ‘eau de --’ perfumes.

Thank you! I probably should have wrote in the video that the intro was shot at the beginning of May hahaha. I did a double take when he told me the price. That’s one of those times where you want to pay and get out of there as fast as you can before they change their mind. My buddy spent another 15 minutes looking through some other stuff.

Damn, I've been waiting for you to make a review on these sub-series back when you reviewed the Raphael-Frankenstein from Neca. Who else would make such detailed and comparative review on all of these amazing figures? I had "Doncula" and the mutant Raph back in my childhood. Needless to say, that these were one of my faves, since they've combined both things that I've liked - horror films and TMNT. I've also wanted the invisible Mikey, but neither I or any of my friends had or even saw it back then. Truly invisible guy.

Thank you! I’m glad to be back and hopefully I’ll get cranking on some more soon! I have nothing on the horizon for at least the next month so I’ll be trying to squeeze in as much as I can. That’s cool that you had two of these guys as a kid. The mutant is a really cool figure. I would have had no idea what the heck he was supposed to be back then. Hopefully you find yourself an invisible man Mikey. Remember always check thrift stores and what not. Sometimes people slip on prices!
