Raggad Dal | 47 types of vegetables and beans recipe in gujarati | રગડ દાળ | ragad dal | ragad rotla

  • Raggad Dal is made from 47 different types of green vegetables and beans.
    Ingredients:
    1) 2 spoon Tuwer Dal (તુવેર દાળ)
    2) 2 spoon Mung chilka Dal (ચિલકા દાળ)
    3) 1 spoon Mogar Dal (મોગર દાળ)
    4) 1 spoon Masur Dal (મસુર દાળ)
    5) 1.5 spoon Chana Dal (ચણાની દાળ)
    6) 1 spoon Chilka Urad Dal (ચિલ્કા ઉરદ દાળ)
    7) 1 spoon Urad Dal (ઉરદ દાળ)
    8) 1/4 cup Spinach (પાલક )
    9) 1/4 cup Fenugreek leaves (મેથી)
    10) 1/4 cup Tandarjo leaves (તાન્દરજો )
    11) 1/4 cup Chil (ચિલ)
    12) 1/4 cup Suva leaves (સુવા)
    13) 1/4 cup Corriander leaves (ધાણા )
    14) 1/4 cup Sarsav leaves (સરસવ)
    15) 20 gms. Potatoes ( બટાકા)
    16) 20 gms. Elephant yam (સુરણ )
    17) 20 gms. Sweet Potatoes (શક્કરીયા)
    18) 20 gms. Purple Yam (રતાળું )
    19) 20 gms. Green Peas (લીલા વટાણા)
    20) 20 gms. Green Tuwar (લીલી તુવર)
    21) 20 gms. Valor (વાલોર)
    22) 20 gms. Surti Papdi (સુરતી પાપડી)
    23) 20 gms. French Beans (ફણશી)
    24) 20 gms. Beans (કઠોળ)
    25) 20 gms. Guar (ગવાર)
    26) 20 gms. Desi Brinjal (દેશી રીંગણ)
    27) 20 gms. Ravaiya (રવૈયા)
    28) 20 gms. Surti Ravaiya (સુરતી રવૈયા)
    29) 20 gms. Purple Butta (જાંબલી બટ્ટા)
    30) 20 gms. Bottle Gourd (દૂધી)
    31) 20 gms. Bitter Gourd (કારેલું)
    32) 20 gms. Galka (ગલ્કા)
    33) 20 gms. Carrot (ગાજર)
    34) 20 gms. Cabbage (કોબીજ)
    35) 20 gms. Saragvo (સરગવો)
    36) 20 gms. Cauliflower (ફુલાવર)
    37) 100 gms. Tomatoes (ટામેટાં)
    38) 100 gms. Onions (ડુંગળી)
    39) 50 gms. Green Garlic (લીલું લસણ)
    40) 50 gms. Spring Onions (ડુંગળી)
    41) 25 gms. Garlic (લસણ)
    42) 25 gms. Ginger (આદુ)
    43) 25 gms. Green Chili (લીલું મરચું)
    44) 25 gms. Capsicum (કેપ્સિકમ)
    45) 25 gms. Lemon (લીંબુ)
    46) 20 gms. Gilori (ગિલોરી)
    47) 20 gms. Cucumber (કાકડી)
    48) Oil (તેલ), Cumin (જીરું), Hing (હિંગ), Bay Leaves (તેજ પત્તા), Cinnamon (તજ), Black Pepper (કાળા મરી), Cloves (લવિંગ), Soaf (વરિયાળી), Salt (મીઠું), Red Chili powder (લાલ મરચું પાવડર), Turmeric (હળદર), Jaggery (ગોળ), Peanuts (મગફળી), and Dry red chili (સુકા લાલ મરચું).
    Preparation:
    1) Wash and Soak all Dals for 30 minutes then cook in a cooker add Salt, Turmeric, and 1 spoon of Oil.
    2) Take another Cooker and add all vegetables [Except Garlic, Ginger, Tomatoes, and onions] and 1 glass of water, salt, and turmeric and cook for 1-2 whistle.
    3) Make a paste of Tomatoes, Onion, Chili, Ginger, and garlic paste.
    4) In a Pan add oil and ghee, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, soaf, peanuts, and hing and crackle them, Now add the paste of Ginger, Garlic, Chili, Onion, Tomatoes step by step.
    5) Add all Dals and mix well, Now add mashed vegetables, Salt, Turmeric powder, Red Chili powder, Lemon juice, Jaggery as per taste, 1 glass of water as required, and mix.
    6) Add Corriander, Green Garlic, Spring Onion, and Tomatoes and mix well. Now take a pan, add oil, cumin, sliced garlic, and red chili and pour it as tadka on Dal.
    Now Raggad Dal is ready to serve, Serve it with Bajra Roti.
