    I still say you need an A/C cover to keep Dust, Snow or Ice from blowing into the unit when driving which will cause problems!
    The cage is an awesome addition!👍

    Thankyou for the segment. Loving the capability of where these can "venture" to. A thought and question. Any chance or consideration for a "5×8" venturist in the future? Having a little more internal room than the 4×8 would be absolutely priceless and slightly lighter than the 6×8. Also, a 5×8's width from wheel to wheel would have improved accessibility navigating much narrower off road trails that the 6×8 could get hung up on or limit access to. I'm torn between the two, 4×8 & 6×8, platforms. It seems like without having a axle it wouldn't be too too much trouble building and offering this option. P L E A S E ! Thanks again

    Looking for a good overlanding trailer and just found your channel! Can a roof top tent be mounted to the model demoed in this video? And do you have any video/photos of the inside? TIA! 🤙-Josh

    I've wanted a camping trailer for many years but just can't afford one. Then found these and am very excited that there could be something that is not only affordable, but doesn't have a bunch of gewgaws added I don't want, nor try to look like some cheap apartment and I can modify myself. Only thing is......I'm not certain I could stay in something small enough to make me feel like I'm in a coffin. I'll definitely look at their larger model though...that one seems doable. :)

    This may sound strange, but can you get the Venturist with the backdoor AND with a window installed in the back door?

    I wonder if the awning could’ve been converted to a cover to protect the camper from weather when stored? Just a thought without much thinking 🤔

    • @harrymills2770
      @harrymills2770 Рік тому

      Not the batwing he was showing you. Unless you want a rooftop tent, it's not easy to find awnings that actually go over the camper, itself. I would think that would be a no-brainer option. When you're set up, it seems like you'd want shade over it in the direct sun. You're talking about something else. They make covers for cargo trailers. I bet you could find a small one that'd be close enough fit.

    • @runawaycampers
      @runawaycampers  3 роки тому +1

      Two adults and a toddler should definitely be able to sleep in a 6x8 comfortably. If you are near us in Florida come take a look and lay in one!

    If the vehicle is an AWD would it make sense to get the 4WD trailer or a regular trailer?

    • @dontbskurd
      @dontbskurd 3 роки тому

      It really depends what kind of camping you are into. If it's just regular campgrounds, the regular one is fine. If it's mild to hard off road camping, then yes the Venturist would be better with the lift and bigger tires to clear certain obstacles. Depending on what kind of AWD vehicle you have.. Hope that helps.

      They're aiming at a broad base of customers moving up from tent camping. AC is one of the few things a camper can provide that we can't make shift to do for themselves, and can make a huge difference down in Florida or, say, the Ozarks, in the middle of summer. Knocking the chill off these tiny cabins doesn't take much.
