Just a quick teeny tiny correction- the white triceratops isn’t a player one marker, it is an extra in the extreme (Kickstarter) edition used for the cloning expert specialist. It isn’t available in the retail version of the game. Great highlight, great game!!

Great Overview! I like the card mechanics a lot in this game. I feel like you nailed it in your final thoughts. All the theme, and engine building in half the time as dinosaur island!
I own both and still prefer Dinosaurs Island because it’s a worker placement! But... there’s nights we don’t want to set up dinosaur island, have time or table space. We love taking duelosaur island with us because after all it’s the theme of building your own Dino park that brought us here 🙌🏽
I like the color of the game as well. It really pops
Haven't played either of them, but want to try. Most likely will start with Duelosaur.
I like the base game better but it is hard to go wrong with Duelosaur Island. I think at this point it is my favorite short 2 player game. I like the theme and mechanics better than 7 Wonders Duel.
Oh for sure, we like the Base game more as well. And honestly, given the choice, I'd probs play the base at 2p over this. But this game is so short that it scratches that Dino Island itch in 30 minutes. And that's super worth it to us!
