I remember anytime my late dad see him on TV. He will be like ‘Ewo oremi Karimu, Ajo lo ile kewu ni Ibadan ni o’ May almighty Allah bless kunle afod and Mr Towondun and grant my dad too Al Janat firdaus. Ameen
How time flies I remember the days of yesteryears of Comedy in Yoruba movie when likes of LUKULUKU, Towon dun, Baba Alaran (of Blessed memory) Epo TinTin., James Depe, Pariolodo and others use to grace our TV Screen and we look out for them on every new movie VHS movie jacket to make us laugh before the time of Comedy shows came. This are the people that put smile on our face big thanks to Baba SALA Jacobu, Papilolo, and their set of then. Sighs how I wish we have a working system in Nigeria where all these Veteran Actors will be getting medical Care, stipend, and homage for putting their personal worries aside and making people laugh without saying lewd jokes that we see now.
Oluwa ooooo, where has this man been? He is One of the foremost jesters in the Yoruba movie. I am glad he is still alive. Naturally blessed with acting.
I like what You're doing Mr. Kunle Afod, May Allah SWT Bless and Protect you. Just like you suggested to Baba Towo Ndun as well as what that producer (Doyin) promised them, Methinks the best way to make them relevant in this modern era is that; if you and some other likeminds come together to see how you can make a sitcom like series drama where the casts are these old actors and actresses, it can be modern or epic and it should be shoot based on where they're located to avoid too much stress. I pray marketers and producers come to your aid to achieve such a project. GOD BLESS
I remember him in a movie I watched at 5 to 6 years old. He was called tafa. I still remember the song sang in the movie when he died😂 Kodagbereeeee tafa whole lo

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaehi raajiuun.

One thing I loved about him was his white teeth. Very articulate and expressive.
What an intelligent man. See the reminiscence of events with accurate dates. May God bless him.
