Thank you my friend !! Hope to do it soon; maybe on a weekend so there’s more people. Loved the cooking you did this time !! Man those cans looked heavy hehe
Spectacular snowy adventure ! I'm sure being out on the trails has lifted your mood the way seeing your video has lifted mine. I noticed the cuffs on you sleeves are you using multiple layers to avoid overheating ? Does the money you save on summer boots allow such nice winter wear. Glad to see your new content it's always informative, epic and entertaining.
It was amazing to get out and definitely lifted my spirits! I'm a pretty thrifty shopper and have stuff from past seasons. I definitely save money on my minimalist shoe choices 😂 It's so good to read your comment and know that this video has found you well! I'm looking forward to more adventures soon!
Oh, and yes, I layer for warmth and remove as I go so I don't overheat. I cuffs you see are a from a very thin packable down jacket that is a very versatile layer.
Amazing video! I am planning to do some snowshoeing in the future! what preparation do you need for your vehicle to drive up here under this snowy condition?
Thank you! It depends on recent weather, but I would suggest bringing chains, or some other type of tire enhancement at all times during the winter. 4-wheel and all-wheel drive and chains are needed at times.
Thanks! There's was a lot of fresh snow that came down after I posted this video. There's more predicted for early to mid next week. It's something to keep an eye on. Ostrander is amazing! The last heart attack hill is pretty brutal to the lake. I'm going try to make it out there soon as well.😊
Great video! The beautiful trees pop out against the snow. You also got some nice skies. If you winter camp along this trail do they allow you to gather firewood? Your videos have great image and sound quality. I remember you mentioned using a GoPro. Do you use the microphone on the GoPro or a different mic? Thanks again for sharing your adventures.
Thanks for checking it out! I just use the go pro 11 without an extra mic. It is surprising sometimes how good the quality is in such a small device. There's some rules for collecting firewood, but it's ok to do it outside of Yosemite Valley, and less than 6" diameter, below 9600'. It's a nice diversion on a long, cold night. 😊
it's really nice to walk with snowshoes in the snow, beautiful snowy landscapes... excellent snack 😋😊👏25👍
Thanks for checking it out! 😊
another epic video my dude !! Keep up the good work - see you out there !!
Thanks man! 😊
Great video brother 👍🏽 keep it up

Cool video bro what an incredible view. I wish I was there coming from Southern California
Thank you! It is not too far 😊

Super helpful. Ty for posting.
My pleasure! I’m thinking about trying to make it out to Glacier point tomorrow on the Cross country skis. Should be fun 😄
I was just thinking of this hike and lo and behold my friend has a useful video on it ! Can’t wait to watch this one
Yes!! I love Dewey point in the winter. I do this one a couple of times every winter. Let me know if you have any detailed questions on this one. :)

That was a cool video. I suggest using a curved tip syringe to put on that hot sauce one drop at a time 😂
Great idea!! 😄

Looks awesome! I'm planning a trip up to Ostrander, starting at Badger Pass next week. How were the snow conditions?
