  • A Schweizer 300CBi piston helicopter during engine start-up on the ramp at Princeton Airport (39N) in New Jersey followed by departure for a flight after getting fuel. I hope to catch Schweizer rotary-wing aircraft more often. The rotary-wing chopper was having a little trouble getting off the ground as well which really surprised me.
    Aircraft: Schweizer 300CBi
    Registration: N101ZW
    Takeoff Time: 3:45 PM

If you can balance a beach ball on your nose while riding a unicycle, you can fly a helicopter.

I heard it was balancing yourself on one foot on a beach ball, while juggling 3 running gas-powered chainsaws, you can fly a helicopter.

At 3:50, there is a "PoP" sound and heli reacts to it. Was it from the engine?

I'm not totally sure. Was surprised when I heard it but didn't see anything fall off.

@@ThePhillyBuff Looks like torque took over during a momentary loss of power via engine hiccup.

Probably. Hardly hear a pop sound when an aircraft engine starts.

Did it just throw a clutch belt? 3:49
