Although Haydo wouldn't personally choose the Rock Tamer again, he acknowledges that it does its job to a certain extent. He shares that their initial preference was a product called stone stomper, but due to long lead times, they opted for the Rock Tamer as an alternative. Haydo emphasizes that he has no association with any of the mentioned companies and that other travellers may have different preferences.

I totally agree with you. We have been on the road full time for 4 months so it’s had a good workout. Ok but not great
Could not agree more, had them close to the ground initially, tried various angles, cut them to avoid dragging and flicking stones, but found them not as effective as you might think.
