I lived on Dale st. at Jefferson and Eighth in 2006. You drove past it at around 3:45. On the left when the bus passes. I think it was 915 Dale? Two story with vacant lot beside it.
Two blks north & 1 blk over was where my Grandfather ran some apartments (he was the manager) from 1960-87. Also was where my 'First Place' was about 40 yrs ago.....224 W.10th. It's a Lawyers Office now.
I remember that from when we'd visit,my grandfather managed the old apt. bldg at 224 W.10th for over 25 yrs? (1960-87?) Also was where my first little apt was in the early '80s? (And no,I didn't get away with anything just because of who I was. Quite the opposite,at least at first??)
So true. In 1971, I worked on Jefferson in a print shop across the street from the Texan theater. Everything was clean and busy. We lived on Ryan, off of Kiest, and attended Jefferson Davis elementary. We moved to Pleasant Grove in 1966. Both places have gone south. Sad.
Kip's Big Boy Bobble Head. To cool.!!! Oak Cliff (Jefferson) my hometown..

I’m pretty sure I know what house you’re talking about! I hope you liked the area and the house 🏡! 🤠
What kind of car are you in. Big split window is great for video, sounds like a Chevy six , with three speed manual.
You are correct :-) I'm so sorry I took so long to reply to your comment!

If you could have seen Jefferson st in about 1972 you would not believe what a dump it is now. Our world is destroyed.
I wish I had seen it! It's so sad! :-(
