Been trying to absorb as much as I can on UA-cam because I’m studying business rather than being in film school. I just filmed my face under water(?) with a previous tutorial you made. The rizz at 5:40 tho. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
These videos are so impressive
I’m waiting for a movie at this point 🔥🔥
I think there’s more to not moving the camera. I remember my first film teacher asked us to make a 30 second film with a begging middle and end and every shot had to be locked off. It was hard but it really put an emphasis on the art of framing and blocking. People get too obsessed with ‘cinematic movement’ and don’t think about whether or not they should move the camera for the sake of the narrative
I could make a full video on static shots and actually said a lot more about it in this video but cut it out. I love the art of a static shot if you watch other videos I think you’d see that
either moving or static shots are all about framing and composition. I think this are cinematic movements because they are basic standard movements...
We got the same assignment at my film school.
Dude, I do not know why you don"t have more followers. Dude, your vids are crazy generically stunning. And I just wanted to tell you that I just stumbled into your channel.
Thank you
YESSSSSSIRRRR NEW VUH VIDEO!!
love this!!!!
Great tips!!!
The colors are so legit in that opening scene, maybe a video on how your color correct and grade would be good
I love static shots cuz instead of the camera moving the frame your eyes move within the image especially with how you compose the scene with color, light, depth and so on and you definitely are a master at it! I can sit here for 3 hours staring at a frame you composed and I’d be in awe.
Weird to see u outside of 4:3 :D but still amazing looks and especially ur "example"-shots..just insane
I wanna start this year with filming and this will help me allot, so thx in advance :)
always a good day when there is a new VUHLANDES VIDEO!!
can you do a video on how to edit films?
Masterpiece. Your legacy will include being a great teacher. Rooting for you to have a full shifa(recovery) inshallah.
Is the Panasonic AU-EVA1 better than Sony FX3? Which is the best camera and which has better image quality.
Hi sir i would like to buy "FRESH AIR PRESETS" from you but is it work with Lightroom mobile ? Thank you. i'm your Follower from Thailand sorry for my english ^^
Love the tracking shot how it ends up in front of the skateboarder, but also your static shots are so great because you have the actor moving through the frame, in from one side and out from the other
lol completely off topic and somewhat unnecessary but I was genuinely surprised when I realized this dude was black...lol proud moment right now... whats poppin my brother glad to have found your channel
Yo Vuh, what are some editing software you'd recommend
Watched a few of your vids. You make a whole lot of videos about nothin’ bro. Great work
Nice camera movement. I’m also a cinematographer
1:18 you didnt crop in fully ! but its okay ! video was still the best !
How do you physically move the camera for these shots like how did you get footage of the skateboarder?
sheeeesh
You are truly inspiring! Thanks for sharing your gifts with the world.
Learning a lot from this video thank you 🙏🏼
i am not sure when it was the last time i have seen a video with 4002 likes and 0 dislikes ... just want to mention it because i guess this is something special ...
do you have a video of you holding the camera while doing these camera movements?
dude you are ssupposed to catch our attention not catch us sleeping
Please what's the name of the tool on your thumbnail, saw that you used it in filming the cereals shot
Such a solid video! Always giving us a fast and very detailed class on video making. Thanks dude
Honestly, we need a grading tutorial! Im really curious what your workflow is.
Keep doing what you are doing man🙏🏼
Yes, grading tutorial, pls 🙏
Yo Vuhlandes, any idea of what the tool at 6:33 is called? Much thanks
@6:35 what is that device called that the camera is sliding on
letting a static shot hold just a little longer than usual adds a lot of weight to a scene, really digging that feel right now
How to shoot the opening shot? It doesn't seem to do with handheld.
The slider at 6:35, what is it called?
What lens was that for the basketball clips wit the Detroit hat on
What is the object you used for panning?
Camera slider
I highly recommend a bidet for that toilet.
I got my first camera because of you, And I love it because it breaks up my work ( graphic design ) and a new creative hobby.
You’ve always been a big inspiration for me, thank you for always creating 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
amazing work as always! forever supporter 🙏🏼
Absolutely love your content bro! Simple and insightful EVERYTIME
This guy is amazing. Love his communication skills in explaining. Would go on his course he did a face to face.
The toilet scene is my favorite lol haha

Yeah brah, we need that Vuhlandes x A24 Film, pronto!
FUCKING BEAUTIFUL GENIUS
Great video. What slider do you recommend please? I’m looking to purchase one very soon
I’m new to everything photography and cinematography! I’m just falling in love with learning about new things!! Yo shit fye 🤞🏽
At 20 seconds, I like how you showed that camera non-movement is also camera movement.
This is great stuff
bro your pull out game is strong, but I'm pushin P.
This is one of the few channels on UA-cam that has a distinct style. That's no easy feat. But since there is such a distinct style on Vuhlandes, why bother having Vuhfilms. Why not drop all the short films/features on Vuhlandes. Having two very similar channels may confuse the algorithm, and it's also hard to post every week on both channels. On Vuhlandes you could prime the pump with tutorials, vlogs, etc...then drop a short/feature whenever you can. The algorithm should theoretically give all the content on Vuhlandes a much harder push because it has more subs, watch time, comments, community, etc.
My boy NEVER disappoints
Could you do a tutorial or testing of using the ZV-E10 for cinematic videos? Or how to film cinematically at night in the dark! Please and thank you
what's the song at 2:20?
I'm very grateful for you work
Good to see you too king.
informative 7mins
Great vid!
Very helpful vid on when camera motion makes sense or not. What a tip on Tracking the skateboarder, first following, then alongside, then frontal! I had a mental image of the videographer fast enough to pull that off in one take. 🤣 And not end up in the hospital! 🤣 I'll be trying that one using 3 takes, or more likely in my case. 9 takes. 😄Love your philosophy and artistic approach- the proof is in the beautiful results.
Straight game 🔥🔥
Nice one bro!
This video is so good! I'd love to see a "clean" version that I can show my high school students. :)
Another fire video
Pull out lol
Your account inspires me so much man, love it. Thanks bruv!!

so tuf

Great job... I love how you are passion driven and inspiring.
your talent it’s absurd, Vuhlandes! I love your content. one thing that sometimes doesn’t allow me to do my best it’s equipment beyond the tripod. whats the name of this one that makes this “slide” effect? I also would love any recommendation for something to make the quality of video static while I’m moving it. The tracking shot gives an amazing effect, but when I try to do it, I dont feel my video “static” while I’m moving. do you have any tips? greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
cadê o 4:3 👀
My first viewing on your channel. Well thought out and executed. I will say that I believe you are mistakenly combining the "Pan" movement with the "Truck" movement. Your shot of the cereal (done on the slider) is a "Truck" not a "Pan." Keep up the good work... I will check out some more of your content.
You are right! Welcome to the channel
huhyaaaaaa
Amazing 🤩
What do you use to color correct / color grade ?
🔥
Wat kind of camera is it
Fuji XH2S #FujiBoys
