I loved both but for different reasons, if I had to pick only one I would probably say Trinidad. The valley of Vinales with all the tobacco plantations was more beautiful, but the town itself of Trinidad is prettier. We went on a similar horse riding experience there and the beach is closer :)

I don't know sorry! We did a tour that our AirBnb host arranged for us but I don't remember the guide telling us the name of the waterfall
