I am really finding it different when I started with this NCERT. When I started with Laxmikanth, I lost interest in polity.Better to start with this book

Conceptual clarity is very important , for example i was reading laxmikant and had completed 2 chapters but i was not clear about the basic concept of what is polity, political system and politics and difference between the three.

Yes it is a beautiful book I too loved it and I have read it 3 times and have also carved out notes from it !!
Most importantly : the questions at the back of each chapter are very good and relatable to upsc because it forces us to think about the answers in a philosophical way ..

@@priyodarshini_banerjee it is a book for clearing basic understanding and concepts with minimal data, like sir has mentioned. 5-6 hours daily, in 4-5 days you will clear it. Obviously it depends on your reading and grasping, atleast 2-3 readings are required, if you take 10 days for this type book then it's not reliable for preparation

After reading 1st chapter always ask why?
