The whole point of this robot is to eliminate superhero competition and hype up syndromes ego. It’s an act it’s programmed to not kill anyone on purpose because it won’t help syndrome look good if civilians die.
Something extra that I'll note for the Omnidroid is WHY it even lost in the first place. The Omnidroid was a model after many, which previous models lost to only SOME of the superheroes. A great example of its potential durability was the last model before the final design, which was thrown into molten lava, only to crawl BACK OUT. Its AI is also scary smart, so much so that it was AWARE. It saw Syndrome's remote, learned it was being used for show play, and retaliated. The only reason it lost at all was because it was ended by its OWN CLAW. If that remote was crushed, it would've been GGs.
The problem is that apparently the Humans actually had cybertronian tech for there weapons because that’s literally the only reason for them to hurt them in Bayverse either that or Micheal Bay wanted to nerf there durability to be regular metal

Disassembled, but not left to be completely destroyed/non-functioning. All it did was temporarily neutralized it until it could reassemble itself. Sure, if it were fully functional (in other words, super hostile), it would more than likely just transmit it's signal for back up right after since these things are by no means alone. And nukes are FUCKING EXPENSIVE to use.

I think prime would be the best option because in the books the tripods where hard to track and often destroyed any weapon platforms in range before it had time to set up and aim. Prime isn’t stealthy in the slightest and takes damage from regular ammunition not just high explosives

To be fair, the only reason the transformers were less durable in the movies is because between the first movie and Revenge of the Fallen, the autobots were essentially forced to share their technology with the humans (allowing for the N.E.S.T Team to come into existence) as payment for letting them stay on Earth. This allowed for the development of energon detection devices, special firearms with cybertronian tech to increase fire rate and stopping power damage, and plus alongside that, in the 2nd and 3rd movies, the decepticons pretty much got bombarded. Even in the first movie, it took the Military forever to take down Brawl, and while Blackout went down a little easier, that was because of how much he got hit with F-22 Missiles. Earlier in the movie however, its shown that even smaller bots can survive these encounters, with bots like Scorponok taking fucking AC130 rounds and only losing his tail. This weakness was discovered through the use of high heat magnesium rounds.

Have you not watch Transformers 4 at that point he was willing to leave the planet and watch them die and also kill a bunch of humans which he actually did in the KSI building they were mainly just average workers and probably civilians.

The 1st movie proved that conventional sabot rounds 20 years ago could damage and destroy them. Optimus can neither fly nor burrow into the ground to hide. He’d be a sitting duck.

@@The-wreckers-custom he can fly super slowly and doesn’t have any countermeasures. And his shield isn’t going to stop a tomahawk from ripping him to shreds. If Sabot rounds can cut through them, a 3000lb rocket-powered telephone pole traveling Mach 4 definitely will.

To be fair, the only reason the transformers were less durable in the movies is because between the first movie and Revenge of the Fallen, the autobots were essentially forced to share their technology with the humans (allowing for the N.E.S.T Team to come into existence) as payment for letting them stay on Earth. This allowed for the development of energon detection devices, special firearms with cybertronian tech to increase fire rate and stopping power damage, and plus alongside that, in the 2nd and 3rd movies, the decepticons pretty much got bombarded. Even in the first movie, it took the Military forever to take down Brawl, and while Blackout went down a little easier, that was because of how much he got hit with F-22 Missiles. Earlier in the movie however, its shown that even smaller bots can survive these encounters, with bots like Scorponok taking fucking AC130 rounds and only losing his tail. This weakness was discovered through the use of high heat magnesium rounds.
I swear, cinematic Transformers would get absolutely wreaked by Mobile Suits in Gundam.
