    I'm so grateful that I get to occasionally work with brands I actually like to create sponsored videos. Their direct support helps keep this channel afloat in the ever unstable world of UA-cam ad revenue. These videos will always be disclosed, of course, and I appreciate everyone's kind support for these partnerships. Royalty Soaps also participates in commission or discount affiliations, like Amazon or RewardStyle, as these opportunities become available, like Amazon and RewardStyle and while the money we make with these links isn't much, every little bit counts and once again, we really appreciate your support! These products will always be marked and disclosed with a "✦".

    An African black soap was the first handmade soap I ever purchased, back in my early 20’s when I knew nothing about soap. I’ve loved it ever since, it is so delightful on the skin and leaves it looking so healthy!

    I ordered the crumbles and incorporated into my cold process soap, and it came out amazing. I sold about 16 bars, which is great for me as a beginner! I definitely didn't like the rebatch or the premixed african black soap that brambleberry was selling. I made it, but It just didnt resemble or remind me of a good bar of African black soap.

    I love black African soap! I use it as a cleanser for my face and you can tell it’s clean when you’re done; your face will be squeaky clean, literally. I’ve also seen less blemishes as well. It was recommended to me by co-worker and she told me it was the best soap for oily skin. Give it a try!
    We LOVE your soaps Katie. I always load up on Pemberley soap bc it’s legit the ONLY soap I can get my son who is in the Autism spectrum to use; though I bought him the shamrock soap recently and he loves the smell of Irish Spring but it’s too harsh so he was delighted to get to use it! Thank you so much, Katie and crew. Sorry for the novel! I’m and English teacher, I can’t help it! 💜

      Do you find it very stripping on the skin? My skin is combination so I worry this would dry me out too much

    • @semirelatablesarah
      @semirelatablesarah 2 роки тому +10

      @@allana1997 I’m not going to dispute that OP has found this benefited their skin, everyone is different but that squeaky clean feeling is actually not the best for your skin. It basically caused by the soap stripping the oil off your face ..this can disrupt your skins pH balance which is what protects it. Sticking to a hydrating cleaner is always a safe bet imo!

    • @opossumsauce4472
      @opossumsauce4472 2 роки тому +5

      @@semirelatablesarah Came here to say that! Yes your skin should not be "squeaky clean" if you want your face to be completely clear of acne you would need something less stripping, this soap also has exfoliants which you could be scrubbing at your face and you think it's working. Love your face, be gentle with it, no matter how much acne is there. Please refer to actual dermatologists.

    Oh yes! I absolutely love your channel and your outlook on life and your demeanor and your personality! Your family is so wonderful and so beautiful and those around yourself are equally so! I have been watching your channel for I don't know maybe 4 years now and I've always loved everything you've done! I always tell myself that 1 day I'm going to make a batch of soap but it hasn't happened yet to call my lol. I just really enjoy it Who you are as a person and I enjoy your content!! Thank you for everything that you do and I always love how broadened your horizons and your scope on others around you , has always been! You are extremely cultured and you have this thirst for knowledge that I don't really see very often! It's very refreshing and very I don't know complimentary to other cultures! So thank you for just being yourself but also broadening everyone's horizons! I really enjoy learning about different things about the world or crafts or viewpoints from you! I really liked this video and the fact that you're trying to support such a good cause!! You're a great person!

    It might have started as "just soap" for me...something I found interesting. But now, I absolutely watch your videos because it's relaxing and I'm always learning something new. You have inspired me to want to make soap. Unfortunately I live in a place where I'm unable to do that at the moment. But, I'm learning as much as I can in the meantime.

    It’s my birthday today so I’m probably going to do a lot of nice things for myself. I love this channel & I’m on my second circuit of watching every video viewable on the channel. I recommend going back if you’re a small UA-camr. Seeing where Katie started & comparing it to where she is now, it shows you an example of what works

    Maybe you should make a soap that not only looks like a brownie with walnut, but one that smells like a chocolate brownie.

    I love Bramble Berry. I especially love that their sheabutter is morally and ethically sourced. I need sheabutter as a deep south southerner. I appreciate those girls in Africa so very much.

      As a genuine question from a texan, why do you need shea butter as a deep south southener? I have not heard of this connection before.

      @@rebeccaburrow7199 I get extremely dry skin, and I work in electrical and plumbing and dry skin is a thing. Sheabutter for me is the best moisturizer for all my skin difficulties

    Awesome content and information. Looks like that soap kit is a good beginner kit for someone who is interested in soap making but not 100% yet. Great way to get started. Thanks for sharing.
