Drill dust collector - a useful gadget?

Is a drill dust collector a useful gadget or a complete waste of money?
Cleaning up after drilling the hole in the wall can be a proper pain in the neck. What's even worse, it's nearly impossible to drill in the ceiling without having all the dust in the eyes.
It's good to have a very simple product which catches both the dust and small debris and keep the mess to a minimum. This little drill dust collector costs only a few pounds and is a great addition to my toolkit. Not only does it prevent the spread of the dust but keeps it out of my eyes as well.
