It's hard to explain to the non Hawaiians how significant this is, I grew up on the other side of the island where Momoa is from, I went to middle school with Dwayne Johnson, to so Polynesians getting this respect and recognition is HUGE. So much Pono. My Tutu would be so proud.
I was a fan of the actor, but now I'm a fan of the man. I'm from Hawaii too. So nice to see him represent not just Hawaii, it's people and culture so well, but also to be inclusive of the other Polynesian cultures too.

I Love That JM has a profound love of his heritage. Had the opportunity to live in HI for many years and the islands will always be in my heart and soul.
I got visit once and I was impressed by the native culture. Even in the most tourist areas I could still feel the natural beauty of the islands. When we got away from the main city we were sent back to a gentler time. It is still there especially in the outer island communities.
He definitely knows the meaning of life with his big heart for his family, friends, and fans.
30 years ago when I was little, I thought that all celebrities were like you, inspiring people for a better world. Growing up it was hard to learn the truth behind media.
It brings tears to my eyes seeing how more and more people are offering something with significant value to humanity and our Mother Earth. I honor your work, thank you. 🙏🏾 ❤️

I was honored to serve 10 of my 20 years in the Navy on Oahu. This brought back soo many memories. Was stationed at one time at Lua Lua Lei Naval Magazine right there on the Waianae side. I miss it....except the crash's on H1. Aloha......

He is a great action actor. However, what blows me away is his down-to-earth appreciate of his heritage, whether it is his Euopean roots in Iowa or his Hawaiian roots in the the Pacific. A a trueblending of best parts of parts of the world!

When I moved to Florida from Hawaii I would always slip up. It's nice to talk story with my OHANA back , and when my wife who is from Milwaukee would listen, she would always say " can you convert that conversation for me , because I have no idea what you said" ALOHA🏝🏄🏼♂️🤙

Every time I see into Jason's life a little, it brings tears to my eyes. He is a man that truly loves his people, the Earth and the waters. It seems all of us Indigenous people are connected together, and we all have common interest. Jason Momoa is an incredible person, and he's one of my greatest influences as an Indigenous musician. As Native people, we all have different struggles, but our fight for our people, Earth and water is the same. I wish I could just hang out with the guy, listen to him talk and learn from him for even 20 minutes, a 20 minutes that would last a lifetime. Wonderful video brother. Thank you for sharing it with us and I love your people. They are beautiful kind people. I wish you all great luck and success.

I have never seen a movie star who transitioned so well to UA-cam as Momoa. Momoa's personality is just so mellow that it doesn't seemed forced and I hope he can do other projects that he in visions.
