The game is set in India, where a young man’s partner is abducted by a malevolent sorcerer. The young man must navigate through the four sections of the Dababa labyrinth temple to save her.
The player takes on the role of a monk, and the gameplay is somewhat unique because the player can only move by jumping from one tile to another.
The majority of the levels involve revealing seals that are concealed behind specific tiles. These tiles may need to be jumped on several times to fully expose the seals. Once all the seals are revealed, the door to the next level is unlocked. Occasionally, items and power-ups are also hidden behind these tiles.
The monk encounters numerous adversaries, but he has the power to launch fireballs to eliminate them. The boss battles are conducted in a side-scrolling perspective. Not all doors lead the player forward; some are trick doors that can send the player back to a previous level. In some levels, the player’s sole objective is to withstand the enemy attack, while in others, the player is up against the clock.
