Not sure what it could be and just saw this.. he has always plucked under his wings but never his chest. It is good that he has seemed to clip the feathers vs plucking. He was always very into giant wood toys he could destroy. I would love to bring him one if you think it would be a good idea for me to visit him.
I have an alexandrine parrot and it plucks the feathers at the back and the skin is bare now. A vet doctor said that it might be due to some infection from lice, so i have just focused on bathing the bird properly with a spray bottle and keeping her in the morning sunlight. Still figuring out about the solutions. Would be great if you make another video on this topic when you know about any new solutions
