Outstanding! I saw Metallica (with Cliff!) open for Ozzy on the Ultimate Sin Tour. Fifth row! Jake E. Lee is one of my favorite 80s shredders, because he's so melodic and creative. "Shot In The Dark" is one of the best tracks on that record and you really nailed it. Nailed the tone, too!

It's just me but in my honest opinion, I always thought Jake E Lee was the best guitarist that Ozzy ever had, Jake really knew how to put a song on guitar, the guitar work by Jake is very good he's not just using simple power chords, 80s Metal used a lot of melodies, it wasn't just noise. Or strumming the same two or three power chords, great work by Jake E Lee. Good Job sir!

That's why Ultimate Sin is my all time favorite Ozzy record. As I grew as a guitarist I really began appreciating all the guitar work Jake put into that album. If you listen to it, and REALLY listen to it, there's so many little fills, micro riffs, just so much going on it truly is incredible.

What sucks is the 80's and even the 70's were literally the best time to be an American. - The country was prosperous and everything changed in the 90's _ then 2000's arrived and Y2K was nothing but 911 really changed everything. - Fast Forward to the end of 2019, we welcomed 2020 but little did we know, only a few months later........., wow, ....... it's almost May 2020, and we may never go to a concert, a sporting event or get a haircut from Great Clips again. - There are many Doctors and Nurses on UA-cam who have chosen to tell the truth about this Covid 19 crap. - Better check it out before it's taken down forever. - This is a great video and I re-played the solo again. - This is a MILLION TIMES BETTER than listening to today's celebrities perform some sad bullcrap, STAY AT HOME OR DIE, free concert for everybody, while they are simply trying to bs the rest of us into staying inside with our eyes and ears closed and be happy about this crap. / Strange how the world was so amazing and phenomenal then one day we look around and the whole world has changed into a prison of sorts. / Wow, all I did was enjoy this performance and read a few if these beautiful comments and all this comes out of me. - Music is truly Spiritual and powerful. - I'm 57 and played guitar since age 10 - This is some exceptional jamming. - Thanks. - 🌐.

. Randy Rhoades was great at what he did ....but to me Jake E Lee was a more tasteful player... especially in the rhythm arena...👍

That song 'Secret Loser' has an amazing riff too. One of Jake's less noticed songs but it jams.

Just amazing! And you use the same technique that Jake Lee uses at 0:07 to 0:11 I love playing this on guitar and use the same techniques ...Jake E Lee was a master at making different sounds and utilizing all he could on a guitar ..awesome job bro!!

Damn......now that's the way I remember hearing this bad ass song. I miss Jake with ozzy instead all that bullshit ,overcompensating replacement solos from other guitarist. Sound clean and tight. Good job.

Incredible cover. I'm a big fan of Ultimate Sin, Jake was way underrated, that album is fantastic (due to Jake). Love his work on the first Badlands album, too, killer album (due to Jake). Fantastic job on this.

Good job, you cover this well! I can remember trying to play this back in the day and having my mind blown. Always loved the guitar in this song but it was always hard to hear. It was the guitar more than Ozzy that I always wanted to hear with this song. And to be honest even if I was sitting in Ozzy's garage, I'd be parked over by the guitar amplifier hoping it was loud. Whenever I want to hear this song now I'm going to come to your site and hear it here, where the guitar is LOUD, Cheers!

Credit goes to Phil Soussan. Jake isn't even listed at all on the album credit for this song. According to the album cover Jake has no writing credit on The Ultimate Sin. He likely had a hand in writing some of the riffs and changes and solos but was never given credit. and people don't understand why he quit and disappeared. sharon fucked him and ozzy never stood up for him he just walked away. ozzy and sharon did this to a lot of players they took george lynch for a ride about the same time. great song though huh?

Bring me back to high school when kids were listening to Ozzy, Dio, Black Sabbath, The Door, Def Leppard, and that's what you saw on tshirts, people walking around with with guitar case, long hair, side burns, then u had the hip hop kids with their fat shoe laces , wind breakers, kango hats
