  • RadioHat is an Amateur Radio HF exciter and receiver in the form of a "Hat" for the Raspberry Pi. Radiohat was designed by Mario Vano, AE0GL
This is a quick demonstration of the board transmitting a two-tone test pattern into a spectrum analyzer and receiving single-sideband on 20 meters from one of my antennas.
Note that the graticule of the scope is calibrated to display absolute power in DBm. The reference signal level for this measurement was +8 dbm (the peak power generated by the two tones COMBINED) hence 8 dbm must be subtracted from all of the IMD peak levels shown on the waveform and in the table.
In this video, the Raspberry Pi 4 is shown being operated "headless" by a notebook computer using VNC Viewer over a wired ethernet connection.
Find out more about the open source RadioHat project on GitHub and on the mailing list: "Radiohat@groups.io".

amazing how you take full advantage of the FFT capabilities included in the Siglent's bestseller on your videos. These videos worth more than a thousand manual pages. You deserve an statue Mr. Vano. Parabens!
