Antrosa The Ant I would recommend paying an extra $15 for Logitech's G300S gaming mouse. It has plenty of mappable buttons and it's a really good mouse for just $25
ReV Inimical kontrol freeks: $10-$20 Scuff or any other custom controller: $80-$200+ And the topic is on cheap accessories like kontrol freeks, not expensive ones like custom controllers.
Kontrol Freeks, cheap? You're having a giraffe! Yes they're much much cheaper than buying a custom controller but for what they are, they most definitely aren't cheap. I'll stick to my non branded ones that cost 1/3 what Kontrol Freeks cost.
PossibleTango Even though I don't feel "nervous", playing online or versus with friends makes me sweat like crazy. Maybe it's puberty; maybe it's person-specific; I don't know.
PossibleTango if I'm pvping or something for an extended period of time I might get a little sweaty but not to much something I can just turn my fan on for lol
lol i have a work laptop, a £10.00 mouse, a £15.00 headset and a book for a mat, all of which sit on my matress which i sit on cross-legged. get on my gaming level noobs.
Erich Bauer idk if i just have shit pay or if im just shite with money but i dont understand how so many people have the money to pay for crazy pc setups you know? Perhaps most of them still live with ther parents and dont understand how money works.
They usually stay with their parents. Or like me, live on a budget fit for a McDonald's employee and save till I have enough for a good computer. Still, $800 to $900 is what I spent over a span of 5 years for my set up. And I don't even have a monitor either, using my Tv and just got used to it.
When 100% of your hobbies is gaming related, you could see how they can aford that (if you spent all your money on gaming, you probably would have better things), plus most of this things last a long time (2years for mouse/headseat/keyboard combo, pc parts change so 6 years for a pc + 100 every year to change parts, give or take). When you have nothing else to spend on, its possible.
Frederico Sousa Yeah, although i'm pushing my mouse and headphones past 4 years. Just needs duct tape for the headphones. Mouse and keyboard are holding up well so far.
Kontrol Freeks drastically improve aim for games, especially FPS games. Cost around 15$ a pair. You can buy cheaper ones, but any thumbstick extenders help hugly on consoles.
The Real PyroManiac I personally don't really like control freeks because they just feel so abnormal and out of place for me. My aim is good without them anyways.
***** I'm on mobile and no matter what video I tried to watch, I couldn't see comments. This could easily be fixed by restarting the app, but I didn't bother because UA-cam mobile is buggy and stupid.
Captain Nemo yup, the UA-cam app has always been filled with bugs that annoy the shit out of me. No matter how much google updates this, there's always stupid bugs.
Darin Dial Yeah, for the computer version, if someone writes long enough for a "show more" it will only show half the comment until I refresh the page. I think youtube is just buggy in general.
I bought my ACT Labs metal mousepad for under $10 on Amazon. It's so nice to have a nearly immortal mousepad that is always perfectly flat. (It does go through mouse feet faster than a cloth pad, though.. and I have to clean it 2-3 times a week with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.)
Justin mordini How many accessories does a pc gamer require? A mouse, a keyboard and a mouse mat, possibly a headset but at this price point I can't see any of them being worth buying. You'd have a list that contains 3 items, which would only be a couple of minutes long.
I still use Playstation 2 controllers with a USB converter and Xpadder to play games on PC.. even mouse and keyboard games, as I map the keyboard parts to the controller and use page-switch toggles, then gamepad with my left hand and mouse with my right.
David Nwachukwu it's a stupid idea for that specific game because that's their fighting style...you could try it with a different game just not mortal Kombat or injustice
If you're living in India and find the XBox 360 Controller for Windows a little on the expensive side, the RedGear Pro Series controller is a pretty good buy. It costs around Rs. 1300 for wireless and about Rs.1100 for wired. I've used both and they're pretty solid in build quality. The wireless one lasts around 8 to 10 hours on a single charge and can be used while charging. You can toggle between XInput and DirectInput with a single button.
Fuzzycat they block the light coming from the controller, but cheap electric does the trick too and looks good if cut well. Poor. It's a poor choice to add to the list, imp.
My favorite cheap mouse is the e-blue mazer type r. It's $16, has adjustable dpi, has a thumb guard, an incredibly durable wire, and two extra buttons on the side. I've had mine for about 3 years and its great.
ps4 and Xbox 1 analog stick grips, they are amazing, especially for long gaming sessions where your fingers might start to slip 2 pack for 7 bucks these things are a definite buy
The best cheap gaming mouse i have ever used is a Zelotes gaming mouse. 7200 Dpi , 7 button along with LED lights (adjustable) . Quite smooth and comfy for gaming. All for only 10$. a piece of art indeed.
Darth Weeaboo Same. About 6-8 hours is the most I usually game in one sitting and I can just plug it back up into my PS4 and let it charge for the next time. Wish my Xbox could do the same tbh.
DJ KILLER MEMESTAR Yes Messi is shit it's not like he has awards for best soccer player in the world or anything like that oh wait what is that he has huh do you think it might have been a error considering the odds i think not.
People complain about the Xbox controller not being able to charge itself without the play and charge kit, but, I use rechargeable AA batteries, so when mine get low, I swap them for my second pair, instead of waiting for my controller to charge while plugging into my console or on a special charging stand.
two things: No, vertical orientation isn't bad for your console, but it is slightly worse for heat distribution, since it has to exhaust sideways instead of up as heat likes to do, and two, I have that mousepad and it's huge and awesome and I love it.
I was searching for stuff to add on my 'tech hardware' playlist', cuz I want to get some gaming stuff... first freaking seconds, I added it. this is so great
All the replica NES and SNES controllers I've seen clone the posts that the cable is supposed to wind through and then _don't use them!_ They also don't have a tension reliever so the cord slides in and out putting all kinds of forces in the internal wires, breaking them in no time. Crazy.
Thanks, gameranx ever since i bought my pc i've been strapped for cash as i've also started doing college courses so around $25 for a decent set of mouse and mousepad is a pretty great deal that i can afford
Thank you guys'n'gals at gameranx! Wish you had a few more recommendations for WiiU but as they are about to be made partially redundant I understand. Still like your channels at it has never talked down to us elder folks.
holy balls! I'm ordering a Tecknet Alpha wireless mouse tomorrow, big thanks @gameranx for posting this. I've needed a better wireless mouse for some time & I'm sick of how frequently I need to replace the batteries in my current mouse.
I do HVAC work. Those mini fans may come in mega super handy during the summer when the attics start hitting 140°F and I have to change out the air handler...
More useful and cheap accesories: -Controller thumbsticks. -XBox One analogue replacements for DS4. -USB cable for charging 3DS. -Skins for consoles. -Screen protector for 3DS/WiiU/Vita.
2:36 A phone charger? Can't think of a phone charger that ends with a connector made for the 3ds. This spot would have been much better suited for the USB to 3DS cable, because a basic charger isn't exactly an accessory for addons... It's a necessity.
Ok I have the PS4 charger, decals and a vertical stand was $20 has three extra USB ports up front, a fan that cools the PS4 and has a built in charger stand for the controllers as well it's great. There are some decent PS4 decals also fairly cheap to spruce up the console if you're tired of looking at a black box
Monoprice headphones. Great sound quality and a durable build for really cheap. I don't think they have any with gaming quality mics built in, but I have a standalone mic anyways so it's all good.
It's not as cheap as the ones in the video but if you're looking for a cheap gaming mouse (say if you're new to pc gaming like me) I'd recommend the ET X-08. It's got two hotkeyable buttons on the side and another two buttons used to adjust DPI on the fly. Fully wireless with a good range and lights up too if that's your thing :)
The fan doesn't prevent sweat, it simply evaporates it before bacteria can thrive in the moist fat-rich sweat. Also that PS4 charger had pics of the PS3 version mixed in. ;)
for PC, Sharkoon has some decent equipment ranging from cables, to keyboard/mouse to even cases. (Sharoon XL mousepad too btw.) Logitech has some of the best budget speakers, China has great plastic headset mounts. Sony for the actual headset, your local "cheap store" for usb cables, and the likes. and for Retro stuff you gotta check yard sales and flee markets. or use a Raspberry pi. the USB Stick(s) can be used in "readyboost mode" on older PC's (most Dualcores with 2GB RAM for example) to speed them up a little. it's a quick and cheap way to upgrade your old pc/laptop by a little bit. Tie rips are useful in many occasions so consider it a cheap accessory. duct tape. your phone is capable of becoming a great accesoire and if you already have one, it's cheap.
you can also find console stands that have fans that cool it down and extra usb ports. i also saw one ps4 stand that had an external hard drive with about 500 extra gigs
I got an Xbox one controller charger at Fry's electronics for $15 and it works well. I'm not sure what states they are in i do know if you are in California or Texas they might have a Fry's
The mouse pad is actually really good, I use it for gaming and no complaints here, I havent had a better one to compare it with but I honestly dont feel like i would need a better one or that a better one would improve my gameplay. worth the money 5/7
That mouse pad is amazing. I've used one constantly for a year now and there is absolutely no wear. Plus it's pretty big compared to generic mouse pads.
The absolute best cheap gaming mouse is the g100s by far. you can get them for like $10-$20 and i use its as a backup if my Zowie breaks. There are still CS pros that use it by choice.
if you want a huge mouse pad get a ultrapro Magic the Gathering mat. It serves both as a card game mat and a HUGE mouse pad with really cool designs and an included case. Definetely worth it at $20 or less.
Let us know if you found some other cheap things that aren't shitty and lame.
gameranx hi
gameranx k
gameranx you are shitty
gameranx I got these Subaru brand headphones that are noise cancelling and they have a Mic and are noise cancelling
gameranx eat me father
This is why i love you GameRanx

Antrosa The Ant I would recommend paying an extra $15 for Logitech's G300S gaming mouse. It has plenty of mappable buttons and it's a really good mouse for just $25
Antrosa The Ant How dare u b poor and play videogames. I'm triggered. -Jakkay
Antrosa The Ant same
Tyler McDonald thanks i'll keep it in mind
Well, I just learned that my sisters laptop is so bad that it can't even run Stardew Vally
Ryder Del It's a Toshiba laptop but I honestly don't know the model
Omega Yato *can It run my nutz ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) *
my brothers laptop that struggles on everything can run stardew valley . how old is that laptop
That laptop must be as bad as mine I achieve literally 2 frames per second on Starcraft 2 with ultra low settings
My laptop runs games like cs go at 60+fps, stardew valley and more. It's new and got it for $480
"when we edit videos and use a mouse" well I wasn't expecting you to use an Atari controller
ShadowWolfGames I personally prefer a RockBand drum kit
i like to use the xbox kinect to edit videos tbh
ShadowWolfGames I prefer using a dead mouse
Many editors use a graphic tablets.. lol
ShadowWolfGames Challenge accepted!
Kontrol Freeks. They're easy to clean, cheap, adds more grip and height to the thumbsticks for better precision.
Kay Tee if someone wants kontrol Freeks and or a scuf they should just get a Xbox elite controller
ReV Inimical kontrol freeks: $10-$20
Scuff or any other custom controller: $80-$200+
And the topic is on cheap accessories like kontrol freeks, not expensive ones like custom controllers.

Those are ps3 chargers...
And not like Ps3 controllers run out of battery like holy shit xD
The first and last images were of a PS4 controller charger, but the second one was of one for PS3 controllers. That just makes things confusing.

Kontrol Freeks drastically improve aim for games, especially FPS games. Cost around 15$ a pair. You can buy cheaper ones, but any thumbstick extenders help hugly on consoles.
The Real PyroManiac I freaking love my cqcx.
i bought the $15 best buy exclusive kontrol freeks bundle. comes with 2 different sets. :)
The Real PyroManiac I personally don't really like control freeks because they just feel so abnormal and out of place for me. My aim is good without them anyways.
They help with racing games too. In fact i use them on every game apart from FIFA.
The Real PyroManiac That's cheating.
I can't see the comments. It let's me leave one though so if anyone gets this message, send help pls.
Refreshing the page might help

Are Decals even considered Accessories?
The NES Speedboard is considered an accessory... But it's a hunk of plastic like the console stands.
Fuzzycat they block the light coming from the controller, but cheap electric does the trick too and looks good if cut well. Poor. It's a poor choice to add to the list, imp.

the wiiU comes with its own vertical stand (ಠ⌣ಠ) so there is no reason to buy an Xbox 1 or PS4 cause u gotta buy a stand.
Not how it works....
I don't believe you
I honestly can't tell of this is a troll or not.
Mr.MustacheTako the xbone s comes with a stand

ps4 and Xbox 1 analog stick grips, they are amazing, especially for long gaming sessions where your fingers might start to slip 2 pack for 7 bucks these things are a definite buy
Wait 3ds don't come with charges? That's BS!
sKrN R3P3R it does come with its charger.
Faimed Villain he said that most 3ds don't come with a charger
Well that sucks bologne.
Yeah, like "oh hey, let's make a new 3ds, but we won't include the charger, seems logical" That's what I call money greed.

I recommend Flaming Toast for decals. They're pretty cheap and even have touch pad decals you can also customize.
Somehow, even I'm not pathetic enough for number 9.
love your vids gameranx I always love these videos they're all usually great purchases

Definitely recommend the 3DS charger. I use it and it is wonderful. No house fires!
You guys still use a non-rgb mousepad? PFFT what is this 2016?
You guys should do a list with best gaming accesories overall, no money limit. They dont have to be super expensive, just the best overall.
THANK YOU I WAS WAITING FOR A VID LIKE DIS **GAMERANX TO THE RESCUE**

That mouse pad is amazing. I've used one constantly for a year now and there is absolutely no wear. Plus it's pretty big compared to generic mouse pads.
"I don't think you're gonna burn your house down, but don't quote me on that"
hah, you'e pretty funny
1:59 Those are ps3 conrollers and they dont have same as ps4 controller charger port
Guys with a bad budget, I would recommend saving a little while longer and get more premium stuff that are very important such as mouses, etc.
I can recommend havit i personally use one of their keyboards and i love it even though they lied about its backlighting but its still very good!
I have the Play Station logo on the back of my PS4 controller light bar. Reduces the annoying light and it looks like it's meant to be on.
Like those kinds of Video. Even when you aimed a bit too low for my thinking but still well done Video gameranx.
