These were my favorite boats at the show..... I spent quite a bit of time chatting with the gentlemen in the booth and learned a lot. Their pricing seems really good for the features offered so I inquired about that and learned that they create nearly everything in house from woodwork, upholstery, window frames, all parts in their seats, powder coating and so much more that other brands outsource. After getting home, I created a spreadsheet comparing options on other boats and.... I was shocked at how much value there is in these boats. Being Ranger Tugs and Cutwater as well, they have their ducks in a row for this new line.
Yeah, I was for sure impressed with them! I think we passed you in the beginning of the first day when we were shooting the engine booths lol I'm sorry I didn't recognize you, I try and stay off of social media because I have focus problems and staying on track lol should have said hello!
@BornAgainBoating Aw man no worries, I wish I would have noticed. I understand the need to stay focused...... I'll be back in Miami later this month and then the Keys next month if things go as planned. Maybe we could chat and meet up? Sending a Instagram DM now 👍
Me and my father just started Scaredy Cat Custom BoatWorks. We built a 22ft cat and in about 10-12 months we will have a 36ft cat complete. All semi-custom builds out of the Clearwater Florida area. Check out the sc22 at the Sarasota Boat show in April!
Great video! Love the rigging tubes also! The new designs finally are getting rid of the splash well that the new engines don't need.... Thanks for the video!!
The s-250-c is my kind of boat all these cabin boat's are amazing that price is out of my dreams I will have to stick with my pride Concorde and put some moden feathers I seen on this episode...
That’s one hell of a bend for the wiring not to talk about the fuel hose. Whaler did something similar back in the 90’s on their whaler drive brackets & a few other bracket manufacturers
If this is the " Most IMPRESSIVE " boat at the Miami Boat Show ? Is the hull " Resin Infused " ?? the "" best "" built boats are . The next best is boat builders like Boston Whaler that still do the traditional hull layup , BUT they weigh each hull and other fiberglass they build . They do this as there is a range the item has to weigh . Why is this important ?? because if the weight is too light , or too heavy , the resin percentage is not correct . This makes a weak boat . Last time i checked ( unless things have recently changed ) that Fluid Motion Boats ( Ranger Tugs, Cutwater and Solara ) do not weigh or do not do Resin Infusion .

Cameras everywhere. You can't go anywhere these days without being surveilled. I wonder if there is one in the head compartment?
Lots of Yamaha at the show across your videos
They're super reliable :) I should have been keeping track of the engines!

I bought a Cutwater 248 in December. The solara is just a Cutwater with some more luxury touches, for about $20k more ? Solara 25 is a Cutwater 248 😊

I will never go out to sea in a single engine boat... this is for lakes and ponds

It’s the same manufacturer as Cutwater aka POS build quality. “Impressive” only to someone with zero boat knowledge.
Under powered boats.
A 31 footer with twin 300s is underpowered? Seems about right to me- don’t think I’ve ever seen a 31 with triples
