So excited for this! I think it’ll be a genuine contender for the best dive coaster layout. That drop should be great, and the interlocking zero-g rolls are a really unique touch as well.
This looks amazing! Thank you so much Great America! This looks like a really good dive coaster - I'm so glad it's not just a Dr. Diabolical clone! I really hope Six Flags comes through with the theming to make it a full experience. We'll have to see in 2025! So excited!
@@PhongNguyen-po2zi This is true, but if you look at Dr. Diabolical at Fiesta Texas, that is super intricately themed in the queue. Six Flags also built an entire themed land at Great America back in the 90s, so I am holding out some hope. Edit: also at the press conference, the park president said they were working with a designer to help with the entrance portal and station, and they’d like to have some audio elements - they said they think they want to do it up pretty big and do “as much as we can pull off”
@@Sonic-gy7kq In the 11am press conference, the Great America park president said that Dr. Diabolical was designed for here, but went to Fiesta Texas. Here's the exact quote from him: "Dr. Diabolical - that ride was designed for this space _(gesturing to behind him at SFGAm)_ So, we- they got it, but we're stepping up and going a little bit bigger and stronger."
Hmm, hopefully it is fun. My personal experience riding Valraven twice has been lackluster compared to rides such as Raging Bull, Maverick, and Goliath, where you are able to feel more free, and really feel the airtime and other elements.
This park needs a BIG rollercoaster. Top 10 in the US. There's nothing here that even comes close to the best 4 / 5 rides at Cedar Point just a few hours away. I haven't been to this park since 2018.
Yayayay another year (decade more like it) of six flags absolutely ignoring six flags over texas (haven't gotten a proper new no water roller coaster from the ground up in almost 2 decades btw)
You are so wrong. So many states would love to have great America as their park. It is only of the most well rounded parks in the country. I don’t think you realize most states don’t have parks with this quantity of great coasters. Maybe ur right there’s no “epic coasters” like top thrill dragster but it has almost everything you can ask for. I moved to Texas and now my home park is trash compared to great America.
@ No. I’m not wrong. Most agree that Six Flags Great America is a trashy park built in the ghetto. Mostly teens operating the rides and park. Rude service!! High prices on everything. Long waits on foods and rides. Real theme parks are Disney, Universal Studios, Bush Gardens, Dolly wood and Cedar Point. Good day.
@@EasportsItsinthegame666cedar point is better for sure but saying Busch gardens is better is a joke😂 place is a zoo more than an amusement park. You probably haven’t been to great America in 15 years or something unc
World's most inversions with 5 total? That, friend is false advertisement. That's not even halfway to the REAL record holder which has 14 (The Smiler). This isn't even the most inversions in the Six Flags chain. In the chain alone, this gets beaten out by a whoppin TWELVE coasters, post merger. THIRTEEN if you include the other new coaster at Canada's Wonderland opening next year which has NINE!
Ehh. Inversions are overrated and have less "replay value" after you rode it once. I prefer more air time (hills) . It's sad that hyper coasters like the Raging Bull have gone out of style. It's a reason Raging Bull is still the most popular ride in that park. Because the smooth hills are exciting everytime.
And they didn't have to get rid of the Demon for this! Can't wait!
No rattle. No rattle. No rattle
No dive no dive no dive 😭 all those meefks saying axis coaster are going to hell😭
I prey
if its anything like dr diabolical we will be just fine
Girl there’s vests. That’s a GUARANTEED rattle
@@mynameiskrysta not guaranteed, plus the vests arent the biggest deal itw
Am I the only one that hears the prowler theme at the beginning?
I hear it too 😂
Lookin so sick I love the blue

The correct term for the element is the demonic knot. b&m originally put the element on one of their wing coasters
Fear the Wrath! I'm so excited for this! Well done Six Flags Great America! :D
yay new coaster!
Thank God! But I hope they rebuild the stone walls when you go through the double loops. Plus they should turn the break neck corkscrews into drops
Giga next?
Amazing!🙌

six flags and theming are 2 words that generally don't go together.
Realistically they couldn’t clone it even if they wanted to. Where they gonna have space for an exact clone at this park

Can you make sure this opens without a rattle?
I am looking forward to riding this. When can we get a virtual on ride POV from start to finish of the ride?
Never… 😂
omg can't wait to ride it!!!
Good job to whoever designed this! :D
Can’t wait to ride in 2025!
Better not have a rattle
I’m so excited for this ride. I just can’t wait for that freefall at a 96 vertical angle
Bro I was looking forward to the vekoma tilt but this is also cool ig.
demon save :D
That ride looks insane! :O

The theme feels very out of place too

A dive coaster arriving 25 years late with a name and no theme smack down next to demon. Six flags is just a parking lot with no epic coasters.
