After about a month of working on it nearly every day, choreographing, coordinating transitions, recording and re-recording clips, and a TON of editing, IT'S FINALLY DONE. Working with AD was a dream. We didn't know each other aside from a few exchanges in UA-cam comment sections when I presented him with this idea, and I was pleased to discover throughout working together that he is extremely multi-talented, highly intelligent and super creative. Trying to keep up with his clips (especially with the mechanical limitations of Mirage) was nearly impossible, but we quickly found a rhythm working together and had a blast creating this video, and are so excited that YOU get to see it now. Ok first of all, wtf. Of all the parkour videos i think is the best I've ever seen. Like give the poor 60s Ezio a break. He has steel lungs. And really good work, i loved it, much work and dedication to it, much appreciated
this executes the creepy, dangerous aesthetics of the early animus designs incredibly well: the horror of being stuck in an unstable machine that gives the least regard about the safety of the subject, the madness and anxiety of a high-intensity, never-ending run that looks like Ezio/Basim is both chasing someone and being chased... This video gives goosebumps.

I have watched this vid like 5 times at this point in the past few days and man it doesn't get old. This is probably the best AC parkour video ever, the parkour, the UI, the transitions, the music, the progression, simply perfect in every aspect. It was so worth the wait to see the final release while trying my best not to peek and spoil it for myself, but even then I would have never expected the video to be so cohesive and engaging, keeping me hooked to the very end. This is the greatest parkour video I have ever watched. The agileness and quick-maneuvering of drifter’s nodded Revelations parkour. Ropo’s Mirage parkour not looking like nothing compared to the classic games and holding up his own with the side hops and swings. And the editing, it’s just so awesome. It feels like a sequence from the games themselves. Definitely lives up to the Animus Drifter name.
Excellent work to the both of you. Something like this is never easy to put together. In a way, this video feels cumulative of the entirety of the efforts of SneakyServer since its inception. Hard to overstate how monumental a video like this is or how awesome a job you guys both did. Really well done in all facets! :D

First of all, I have to say very impressive of you two to pull this off. The choregraphy was insane and the transitions were so seemless. This really makes me want to have back the whole sci-fi aspect to assassin's creed. Even just visually with all the glitches and the sounds used, it takes me back to when I first played the ezio trilogy and I really miss this era of assassin's creed. Really hope for a sequel because this was fire!

The animus effects/sfx plus the OST's are GONNA make me act up if you don't CALM DOWN using them. This video went so hard, I enjoyed it quite a lot and that cut to black at the end was absolutely devious work. Props to you and Ropotopolous for getting this whole thing put together (and making Mirage look as good as it can in the process), you just keep improving and I love seeing it happen right in front of my eyes

This is the product of two dudes with a couple years of youtube experience and thousands of hours of AC played using 100% of their brain power and probably 100+ hours of total work over the course of a month to create, so it wasn't exactly easy haha. But we are very glad you enjoyed it.
We did our best with matching footage, and I then took lead with all of the subtle camera shifts and zooms to make things glue together, and I'm so happy to see it recognized

It absolutely can! Even if this video showcases modded movement, stuff like the height gaining ejects you saw, manual jumps, manual ledge grabs, cancels from wallruns into ejects, omnidirectionality etc. are all vanilla features! The mod can alter them in helping trigger ejects from all grab types a bit sooner, but Revelations (and the entirety of old school movement) always went insanely hard :)
Sublime! Despite the facts that Mirage, has is flaws, the game looks amazing (not the characters, tho). On the other hand, man i remember playing Revelations on my crappy computer back then, then i got a new GPU, i put everything on max, and the graphics were amazing, the parkour, the city, everything was perfect. Bagdad is great too, it feels alive, great parkour too. I'm running the game at 8k, and damn, looks stunning! I'm a fan boy of this emblematic franchise, like i said before, it has is flaws, but i love it! Great video! Bravo!
3 things: 1. This man on glitch mode doing things I didn’t think you could do in Revelations 2. I only realized at the end credits that Basim is wearing Ezio’s ACR outfit, which makes this so much cooler. 3. I swear I just watched a trailer for a new AC game concept where you keep switching between two different main characters either in different cities or different time periods as you play.
Lmaoo indeed! Though point 1 is explained by me using the Parkour Mod (as listed in the description), making certain moves like swings on beams at will, instant rebounds into ejects off of ledge grabs of any type, and parkour down/vaulting possible. This doesn't mean that the game is fast because of the mod, as the main things that make old school movement fast are vanilla features, like ejects and manual jumps, but the mod expands the moveset, and gets rid of certain arbitrary slowdowns, like Ezio's needless stumble and the aforementioned grabs having faster recoveries.
This is so awesome. Even if each time going back to Mirage made me want to punch my monitor, you did your best with what Mirage has to offer. Congrats to both of you. Now you'll have to do it with the other games, but wich one would fit together ? Maybe Syndicate and Black Flag, since Edward lived in London and you can use his outfit. A past and futur Edward video or something like that ?

This is the best Assassin's Creed parkour I have ever seen in both games. I was goofily laughing every time you guys used seemingly one-dimensional, boring or predictable parkour elements and used them in such novel, creative, unexpected ways. This is amazing. It also goes to show how an artist can make something beautiful out of Assassins Creed parkour even after all the downgrades. I absolutely LOVE the ac1 style animus hud elements. Still can’t believe that most AC players don’t want anything to do with modern day.
Absolutely, so many mistakes and mishaps led us to be where we are now, but there are still many of us who absolutely adore the sci-fi side of AC and will never stop

This was so beautiful and impressive on so many levels. Probably one of the best UA-cam content of AC I’ve ever seen gameplay wise. Both of you know your parcour systems like the back of your hand and it really shows. I wish I could play revelations like that. Thank you very much. This is the product of two dudes with a couple years of youtube experience and thousands of hours of AC played using 100% of their brain power and probably 100+ hours of total work over the course of a month to create, so it wasn't exactly easy haha.

Wow. Amazingly smooth editing. Even though the games animations are very different, the transitions are almost perfect. Nice job.
We did our best with matching footage, and I then took lead with all of the subtle camera shifts and zooms to make things glue together, and I'm so happy to see it recognized

Never knew Revelations parkour can be this fluid!
It absolutely can! Even if this video showcases modded movement, stuff like the height gaining ejects you saw, manual jumps, manual ledge grabs, cancels from wallruns into ejects, omnidirectionality etc. are all vanilla features!
The mod can alter them in helping trigger ejects from all grab types a bit sooner, but Revelations (and the entirety of old school movement) always went insanely hard :)

Despite the facts that Mirage, has is flaws, the game looks amazing (not the characters, tho).
On the other hand, man i remember playing Revelations on my crappy computer back then, then i got a new GPU, i put everything on max, and the graphics were amazing, the parkour, the city, everything was perfect.
Bagdad is great too, it feels alive, great parkour too. I'm running the game at 8k, and damn, looks stunning!
I'm a fan boy of this emblematic franchise, like i said before, it has is flaws, but i love it!

3 things:
1. This man on glitch mode doing things I didn’t think you could do in Revelations
2. I only realized at the end credits that Basim is wearing Ezio’s ACR outfit, which makes this so much cooler.
3. I swear I just watched a trailer for a new AC game concept where you keep switching between two different main characters either in different cities or different time periods as you play.

Though point 1 is explained by me using the Parkour Mod (as listed in the description), making certain moves like swings on beams at will, instant rebounds into ejects off of ledge grabs of any type, and parkour down/vaulting possible.
This doesn't mean that the game is fast because of the mod, as the main things that make old school movement fast are vanilla features, like ejects and manual jumps, but the mod expands the moveset, and gets rid of certain arbitrary slowdowns, like Ezio's needless stumble and the aforementioned grabs having faster recoveries.
