This is one of my favorite times of the year! I've waited over a year for this! Let's get this garlic out of the ground!

It's amazing, to me, how the garlic doesn't freeze in the ground under snow and winter's freezing temperatures.
Yep, I'm officially old.
I wake up around 3:00 or 4:00 seven days a week.
I do like doing my outside chores as soon as it's daylight so I can beat the heat.
I miss the days when I needed an alarm clock!

What’s an alarm clock ⏰? Lol 😂 I used to wake up super early when I worked. I would hate it when I couldn’t sleep in on my days off! The miraculous things our Father has done for us to survive will NEVER cease to amaze me! I love you Barb! I hope you’re enjoying your 4th of July! 🇺🇸
Great harvest!! Wait until you reach 70, I slept to 10:00am this morning. I saw a few channels make garlic pucks for the freezer. They put the garlic in a food processor, but I chopped mine fine and added little olive oil to mixture. Froze tablespoons of garlic mix on parchment then put in ziplock bag. Was very convenient when cooking. One girl put it into ice cube trays. Have a good week.
@@mariezafonte6473 lol 😂 Marie! I’ve been known to sleep in until 10:00! Great idea! I pulled all the garlic cloves last year and threw them in a ziplock bag. I still have some left. This year I have to be creative

You have lots of great space there now to grow for the fall :) What a blessing!! potatoes and garlic. get you an umbrella to take out with you it helps...like a beach umbrella. Put you a clothesline up there Jan ;) Yes sometimes mother nature won't let us be GREAT! lol

Wow, I need to set up a section for garlic; it would be my first time growing it... I'm observing to learn.
It’s so so easy! Just plant the cloves in Fall and cover them with straw. By June or July you have your harvest! 🧄

Last year in August I believe. Garlic will drop the seeds every year.
