Hiii! Such a random few days 🤣I made a playlist of all the songs people told me they had on repeat from a couple videos back. If anyone wants some new music in their life here's the link 💘 open.spotify.com/playlist/4nxlaiU7yXMwAJQreiB6IB?si=6f950fd825ee4fae
If you're adding more songs to the playlist may I suggest: Strings - Ark Woods, RUSL and Give It Up - KC & The Sunshine Band. I can't stop listening to either of them 😅
As an introvert, finding a person you vibe with is like magic. Love that! Also, totally loving your energy lately, girl! You are killing it at life!! ❤️
Oh my gosh! You're right! I have been tempted to try and start a channel only to keep myself accountable for some things I would like to get done this year. I love how real she is and it helps me feel less alone in my everyday life. Even in real life people can seem so curated and I never feel that with this channel.
Chelsea, hello, I'm 71 yr old, ... I enjoy your channel. I Let u have all the fun, I just watch!! Most of my work yrs as a divorced female I worked many temp jobs or two jobs, but I made it work financially As far as keeping insurance, I made sure I kept dental coverage. I pd a monthly fee of about 28-30 dollars a month, I used blue cross of Arkansas dental plan, it was great!!, many benefits, look into what new York state offers in dental plans, At least you can get a dentist to give you cleanings, xrays, percentage paid on other work, and it really helps out to pay your dentist...now I have my Medicare thank goodness, but health and dental is so important to know its there for you. good luck with everything going on in your life.
I like a random, all-over-the-place vlog! There is something so friendly about the way you do it. And every time you go into a cafe, I'm thinking about how many great cafes there are in New York! I haven't been back there in almost 20 years. Maybe it's time...
Dental implant procedures must have changed. I had on done for the same tooth, but back in 2006... I'm old. I had to have a bone graft with screws and then wait 6 months for it to heal. Then the metal implant with zero tooth attached...months to heal. When I finally got my tooth, it was a celebration. Quite the miserable and embarrassing experience. I'm so glad that yours was so different!
Same here... (but on a bottom left mid molar). It was crazy when they were drilling into the jawbone to make the screw hole. It didn't hurt, but the sensation and noise? Nuts. And you know what they're doing, sooo... eehhh. I had to have a "donor" bone graft, which also low key freaked me out. So this is the old school way of doing an implant. I guess nowadays there are "mini" implants or faster ways to do it, but this way seems more stable and long lasting. I'm old, too... mine is from 6 yrs before yours, it's held up wonderfully (knock on 🪵) 😅 The after-care and recovery is a bit of an ordeal. But once you're all over it, it's really amazing what they've accomplished in your mouth!
I am new to your channel (as of a month ago), but I feel like I've found a lovely friend who is going through similar life events and learning how to become her best self. Thank you for doing what you do; it makes us feel seen/heard/felt. You rock!!
Hi! Chelsea. I have been watching your videos for a few months now. I just wanted to say I enjoy your content. Your energy is refreshing in this space as there is so much content that is the same. You keep it light, real and refreshing. I appreciate you 💛
I really really admire your nonchalant attitude about your tooth procedure. I'm putting off getting an implant myself but this makes me think I can probably handle it. (I cried in the dentist's chair prior to my last procedure and the nurse had to hold my hand before they started lol) You're my hero!
Regarding seasonal depression, since retiring we leave New York State for South Carolina during December through February. We’re in the sunshine most every day and feel wonderful! Make sure you’re taking vitamin D, Chelsea.❤
Glad to see you survived the woods! Nice to have you back in the city. You inspired me to go for it and start my own UA-cam channel (mine is a nerdy BookTube). The apartment is looking awesome - and I love the new color you chose for the kitchen. Keep killin' it, Chelsea! 😎📚👍
I feel the seasonal depression lifting for sure. I have been more social and getting out more too! Also been getting a lot more done it feels refreshing. Its nice to see other people are going through similar things. A little snapshot of someones life can really shift your outlook on where you are at too. We all can be doing so much just do all the things! We are all here on earth lets do fun things and enjoy while we can!
I don't know if I said that already, but you're like my comfort youtuber. It's so good to see a person living a normal life with ups and downs at the same time enjoying life either meeting friends for a coffee or just organising the apartment. ☺️☺️
As someone going through sinus reconstruction and jaw grafting followed by implants - thank you so much for sharing your dental journey❤️ honestly I get so in my head about temporarily having missing teeth even though I know it doesn’t really matter & my friends and family don’t care. This gave me that lil push I needed❤️❤️ loving your energy and videos lately, love from Yorkshire England x x x
Friends, marathon, coffee, tacos, TOOTH!!, adventures, apt updates (I'm SO excited for the live and apt tour), life chats, editing, cleaning... sounds like a lovely few days!!
I’ve especially loved your last two videos, Chelsea! Thanks for taking us on your adventures and sharing your struggles and achievements. I think you’ve started to settle in and find your comfort zone for your Vlog. I’d like to add “Eat Them Apples “ by Suzy Wu as a fun song!❤
I really love this style of vlog! I feel like I'm along for the ride and I'm not a New Yorker and I likely will never visit New York because that would be just too overwhelming for me. But I absolutely love seeing the sights when you are out and about and of course seeing what you get up to.😊
Totally agree with the song-mood-energy theory! I change my music that I have on during work ( I WFH) based on the energy I need. Sometimes I need no word and just relaxing and other times I need some energy to keep me going. When I used to have to drive to work, I did similar things. Going to work was energizing and coming home was an opportunity to change my mood from work mode to home mode.
i had to PAUSE to make sure i was seeing right... chelsea and mohuya?? my two favorite nyc creators!!! omg. you guys are both so inspiring and real this is such a treat!
Years ago, a good friend of mine shared this song with me and it was right when I needed it. It reminds me of taking an uplifting sunny walk after months of darkness- Thinning by Snail Mail.
I may be an outlier but I’m here for any insurance discussions. It’s the bain of my existence since I went freelance and the NYS exchange prices are like almost double what they were! Love seeing all the city hangouts, my health has been isolating and it’s fun to see others enjoying the city when I’m limited.
I was born without my two front incisors and had to get a bone graft for both when I was 18 so I greatly feel your pain! It goes by fast and will be so worth it once you have the permanent tooth in! Good luck and wishing you the best ❤️
Just a suggestion,my kitchen is small for washing dishes so I got a drying cotton Matt to wash my dishes and I put a hook up to hang it to dry in my kitchen wall and it’s been great sense I have small space! Just to give you some help with washing your dishes,I love mine!
The transition to the procedure aftermath had me howling. 🤣🤣🤣 That’s some top-tier editing, I’m not even joking. But I’m glad it all went well tho, even if it’s temporary. And as always, your videos make me wish I was back in NYC. I love going on these little journeys with you around the city. Makes me homesick - but in a good way. 😄 Oh, and I dunno if I’ve mentioned this before (I feel like I might have) but I have that same Kikkoman T-shirt! 😆
I'm going through the hump at the moment. With job interviewing and applying for a full time job being the bane of my existence, it's been rough since it's been a few months. I feel like companies don't get see the human side, like mental health is real, but then again, no one really brings it up unless they ask about your management style then you go off. Losing my mom and losing the baby the end of the year was rough while you would think people would have more compassion and be more "human", but thank you for your content! Appreciate your random vlogs! Keep it up!
I'm so sorry to hear about your losses, that is so tough :( I'm sending all my good vibes things start to look up for you. I'm sure you'll crush the interviews ❤ but yeah, I agree that a lot of companies say they're all for prioritizing mental health but don't actually
Loved all the old content, loving the new stuff just as much. You are radiant, and like others already said, the growing confidence and just straight joy is palpable. Love from another introvert, cheering you on!
Thanks for the playlist! Going to use it for some motivation to clean up my apt and reset after a few chaotic weeks. I know you used to do a lot of content about moving to NYC. Did you ever talk about transportation logistics, like unlimited Subway passes, travel times, locations? Interested in the ancillary parts to living in NYC (ie not just the apartment) - like transportation, what’s convenient/inconvenient, etc.
Wow I wished for this video to pop up literally before I sat down to eat lunch I was thinking I wonder if Chelsea has a new vlog out and bam you appeared. It's like magic 😂
Girl, I feel ya on not biting into things, the optimistic side of me thinks, at least I still can eat food. Your new tooth looks great! I just watched your last video, I am also a tall girl, 6'. Toothless tall girl energy.
Hello! Cello Portlander here! I found you over Christmas and am loving the content! In my opinion Dyson is overrated, really hard to clean and gets clogged often, not to mention the price! I have a Kenmore CSV Go stick vacuum, much like Dyson but all the pieces come apart so they can be cleaned and the roller head is removable so you can remove all the crap that wraps around the brush… highly recommend, also holds a charge longer. Jill😊
My front tooth was chipped half a dozen times growing up, and I had temps, crowns, vaneers, you name it so I’ve always been weird about teeth stuff, it always gives me anxiety. In fact every night without fail I have a teeny anxiety pang about my front teeth somehow cracking in my mouth guard. I even have to bite out of the side of my mouth when I eat anything I’m so scared that my crowns and veneers are going to pop out. I don’t ever risk it. Glad you were able to get in and get it fixed. love this vlog ❤️
Hi Chelsea….. good to see you looking so positive, it’s really coming together I can feel the vibe. Lovely views of New York, looks like you have some really cool coffee shops over there. The flat is looking great. See ya soon xx❤
Keep up the hard work loving that you have time for yourself and time to socialize. Dental work can be time consuming but it's always worth it in the end!
Hi, Chelsea ! Phew ! Glad you are on the mend with your tooth! What an ordeal ! But you got thru. Kudos on all that socializing ! Wow … rn that would be a lot for me - although at one time that was nuthin. Seasons come & go ! Yes we got some sun here, too ! What a difference! I need more ! Happily … Florida awaits ! Goin in a month w my kids & Grand ! Can’t wait! Haven’t been in over 2 decades ! So good to see you, as always! You make a difference … by JUST BEING YOU ! xo Liz
New subscriber here, absolutely love your content. You are so real. And the spotify playlist is so bomb! I have been listening to it constantly for the past 2 days!! Love your new apartment and how happy it makes you.
Congratulations Chelsea!! I am so proud of you…your social life is improving….Awesome!! Glad you got in on the list, couldn't spell queue…Have a lovely weekend…Catch u next time🤗
Loved this video. And I absolutely love the Upper West Side. Once I walked all the way from Columbus Circle to Columbia University walking all the way up on Central Park West! Xing to Amsterdam Ave and Columbus Ave from time to time...🤩😍
I‘m so happy to see you more confident and glowing! It really is an energy change and you can feel it through the screen! 🌞 and what you said about slowly getting out of seasonal depression, I can really relate there… I feel like spring is slowly coming and I‘m so happy and start to be more positive again 🌱 If you’re still adding songs to your playlist you should definitely add: There it goes - from Maisie Peters, even though the song is originally about a breakup I love the lyrics bc it’s also about letting go of past feelings and fears and growing to be a new person! It always gets me out of a bad mood 🧡
It’s great to see a real few days in your life, you can’t fake authenticity and you’ve got it in spades. I love that you’ve registered for the runs and volunteering in the marathon lead up, can’t wait to see how you go. You’re def developing those social skills and look how happy you are 🥰. A part time job with health benefits is the way to go for you, we have such a different system in Australia. Can’t wait to see the apartment tour ❤❤
I had a tooth implant about 10 years ago. During the process of the bone graft which took about 4 months, my front teeth were ultra sensitive and I could not bite down on anything with them and, like you, had to eat things like sandwiches with a knife and fork.
The tooth part is so relatable. I've been going through dental issues lately, cracked a tooth today, broke off a crown a few days ago, but couldn't see my dentist yet because I've also got Rotavirus and then covid like symptoms 💪 2024❤
I'm so glad things are going well for you!! Hopefully the tides are turning into a better 2024. You cleaning your apartment, instantly motivated me to get into action and clean mine! Nevermind it's 7.30pm in Australia lol. 😊
Love seeing Skyler again {weren’t they in a video in really early 2023?}. Do they have a channel? Super stoked on everything you are sharing Chelsea. Thank you hunny. ❤
Hi Chelsea, I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I don't know how you appeared on my feed but I'm so glad that you did! You just seem like a funny/quirky(I say that with respect not as an insult), cool and kind person. I'm 55 yrs young and just love your realness and energy/vibe. Buy yourself a Shark vaccuum. It works great! Dyson is so overpriced🙈
Oh nice, thanks for putting the songs into a playlist, bcs I need a new playlist. I have been walking on the treadmill after my weight workout in the gym and have been bored with my own music. Btw, Lose control by Teddy Swims, THAT GUY, THAT VOICE, I am so glad someone else recommended it!
Loving the playlist and yes to Gflip Australia represent! As you like hip hop, check out the Hilltop Hoods, the restung albums are the best. Such a great vlog to put me in a amazing mood for a Saturday morning

Oooohhh! I'm excited for this playlist! Thank you for creating it!
just added both!!
Would you be willing to add Dua Lipa - don't start now and one kiss, Frank Ocean- Lost and Pink+white to the list (if you are still adding songs!❤)
postal lady - atmosphere 🫶🏻
As an introvert, finding a person you vibe with is like magic. Love that! Also, totally loving your energy lately, girl! You are killing it at life!! ❤️
❤
Man your last 2-3 videos have really sung!! You're hitting some kinda magic stride, gurl! I'm excited for your apt tour and housewarming!!!
❤❤❤

this means a lot, thank you ❤
I also noticed that. Glad I wasn't the only one. I think that part of that is because she recognizes some of our names and pictures!!!
I am new to your channel (as of a month ago), but I feel like I've found a lovely friend who is going through similar life events and learning how to become her best self. Thank you for doing what you do; it makes us feel seen/heard/felt. You rock!!

I'm so sorry you have to get an implant too! The anticipation was the worst part. It didn't hurt and was super quick! You got this ❤
@@ChelseaCallahan thank you for the encouragement
Nothing wrong with crying and holding hands. Emotions are a wild thing, you're allowed to feel supported ♡
@@tiffytattoo2450 Thank you for sharing this kind sentiment
For real, the dentist makes me anxious and if I even need a cleaning I take the whole day off for psychological preparation and recovery lol.

That’s where I’m living, I love it in the South! 🥰
Hi, may I say how happy you look. You got your bounce back girl! Can't wait for your virtual home tour/house warming x
Random vlogs can be the
absolute best, loved this!
Yes!! The sun has been hitting differently the last few days in NYC 🥹

Happy, that's what you give off as being! I'm so glad to see you get your life together and enjoy the process. ❤❤❤
I’m happy you have your own space and putting it together nicely nice and cozy
Tooth or no tooth, it's your kind personality that shines through!
I may be an outlier but I’m here for any insurance discussions. It’s the bain of my existence since I went freelance and the NYS exchange prices are like almost double what they were! Love seeing all the city hangouts, my health has been isolating and it’s fun to see others enjoying the city when I’m limited.
Yess I wouldn’t say seasonal depression for me but every January always seem very dull. February definitely feels better.
Your videos are always so entertaining!!! Thanks for another great video Chelsea !

Dude you nailed that kitchen colour. With that yellow plant pot too 👌🏻 can’t wait to see the rest.
Waves and butterflies by Fiji a blue needs to get added to the playlist!!!! Fire video 💙

I really enjoy seeing all the clips of the city! Great change from the usual apartment content.
I just love your vibe and videos. Have you ever thought about getting a Bob cut, you would fit you well.
I used to have one and I hated it, but maybe I'll have to someday soon haha
Nice to see you again. Your hoover - see if any of the filters are blocked? If so, it's easily sorted. xx
Keep up the hard work loving that you have time for yourself and time to socialize. Dental work can be time consuming but it's always worth it in the end!

It really is an energy change and you can feel it through the screen! 🌞 and what you said about slowly getting out of seasonal depression, I can really relate there… I feel like spring is slowly coming and I‘m so happy and start to be more positive again 🌱
If you’re still adding songs to your playlist you should definitely add: There it goes - from Maisie Peters, even though the song is originally about a breakup I love the lyrics bc it’s also about letting go of past feelings and fears and growing to be a new person! It always gets me out of a bad mood 🧡
just added your song
It’s great to see a real few days in your life, you can’t fake authenticity and you’ve got it in spades. I love that you’ve registered for the runs and volunteering in the marathon lead up, can’t wait to see how you go. You’re def developing those social skills and look how happy you are 🥰. A part time job with health benefits is the way to go for you, we have such a different system in Australia. Can’t wait to see the apartment tour ❤❤
Awe thanks Sue ❤️❤️
Hi Chelsea! I really enjoy watching your videos and I look forward for the appartment tour! 😊
Ahhhh You and Mohuya are two of my faves! So glad to see yall together.
Awe yay!!! ❤️
I had a tooth implant about 10 years ago. During the process of the bone graft which took about 4 months, my front teeth were ultra sensitive and I could not bite down on anything with them and, like you, had to eat things like sandwiches with a knife and fork.
Sweetleaf! Great spot. An old hang for me
Come live in Charleston SC no seasonal depression here. From NJ!
I’m late, but the song “Still Learning “ by Halsey is my fav empowerment/cleaning song. It just hits!! Can’t wait for the next video…❤ the channel.
Bless you for thinking of us fold in New Zealand and Australia xx
The tooth part is so relatable. I've been going through dental issues lately, cracked a tooth today, broke off a crown a few days ago, but couldn't see my dentist yet because I've also got Rotavirus and then covid like symptoms 💪 2024❤
Loved this video! Thank you for sharing a few days into your life with us. 🎉
Hi Chelsea been watching your vlogs for the last 12 months, first time commenting - have to say loving your vlogs, you looked so happy now! 💖
I'm so glad things are going well for you!! Hopefully the tides are turning into a better 2024. You cleaning your apartment, instantly motivated me to get into action and clean mine! Nevermind it's 7.30pm in Australia lol. 😊
Girlie-you are so Happy!😊
I had an implant last year but avoided the cadaver dust. The worst was the two week mush diet afterward.
Feel better!
Way to go Chelsea! Things sure have been gloomy everywhere lately and that is not very helpful. But it’s getting better!
Love seeing Skyler again {weren’t they in a video in really early 2023?}. Do they have a channel? Super stoked on everything you are sharing Chelsea. Thank you hunny. ❤
I love Sweetleaf! This gave me all the feels. I grew up in Queens, and it’s been so long since I’ve walked around and visited my “spots” ❤
❤
Hi Chelsea,
I'm a new subscriber to your channel.
Take a shot every time she says queue!! ❤😂. Chelsea, take the train to beacon. It’s Brooklyn North. Great day trip. Walkable. Beautiful
Oh gosh I've had a tooth implant done and it was like a whole year of different procedures..it was the worst so I feel ya on this tooth journey!
a whole year omg 😳
Love the playlist.
🤩 you & Mohuya hanging out, worlds collide!
You make me want to say hi! I remember being chaotic in my 30s. But it's really the best decade. Enjoy because the 40s are ok and the 50s suck, lol.
