So you get banned for selling bootleg items, but yet amazon just sold it to you... Can you send the items back to Amazon and get reimbursed? Amazon should ban itself
He doesn't by from Amazon, he buys from a liquidator who takes the stock from Amazon. There are several reasons there are fake goods. Firstly marketplace as Amazon does a thing where you can send your stuff to Amazon to sell, and they do all the shipping etc. The probability is that when it is returned as fake, Amazon does not send it back to the seller. They may recoup their money from the seller but are not going to allow them to have the item back or they may just swallow the costs themselves. The other reason may be that the buyer bought a geniune item and swapped it out for the fake when they returned it. Amazon stock will only come directly from official distributors.
Amazon: sells counterfeit goods Reseller: unknowingly resells Amazon: BANNED FOR LIFE! Honestly I don't trust Amazon for any collectibles that aren't a preorder because there's such a big problem with counterfeits and resealing on trading cards
Same thing happened to me on eBay I'm banned in one of the categories because I bought a whole auction at a Liquidation Center they were P90X videos and I put them on eBay and somebody reported it and they said it was counterfeit banned for life in that category
Its more like amazon bans a seller for selling fakes. Then sells the remaining stock from the banned seller to liquidation who then sells to the next seller to then be banned on amazon again. The games and pops that keep on giving.
actually factory sealed doesn't mean squat. i had factory sealed items but i opened it because it felt too light and guess what it was empty. people reseal items.
Its impossible to reseal an item exactly like it was sealed in the factory though...and 99% of the time its the wrong kind of shrink film used. Its easy to tell if its resealed or not.
It's a blessed thing, that you Clint, have an 👁️ for fake merch! Imagine getting caught and the pain of having your account closed. And this being how you pay your bills. Amazon should be concerned.
Looks like you left something in the box. Do you have a Nintindo 64 to check the games on? I have 2 systems lol. I don't see how Amazon or even the place that sells you the pallets can put those counterfeit items in them. Shouldn't it be illegal for them as well?
Franchise - You were talking about your breathe of knowledge with FunkoPops ... maybe consider educating your audience on what to look for? You could potentially save some kid out there, Dad and Son that are just getting into collecting ... a lot of money by educating them / your audience. I bet you have a few fakes you could tell us more about. My friend bought some fake Funkos and it wasn't until a year later I found out he spend $400+ dollars on fake Funko's
If you are Europe the Company selling You the Boxes Must bei Law Remove the Counterfit Goods!! As they are not to sell them on. But must Return them to Where ever they got them from and have to be Distroyed.
hell id give 20 for the counterfeit ds and n64 game together (i dont resell stuff like that but i like having examples for people that arent in the know of counterfeits)
Great info for the community on how to handle counterfeit goods. I wish Amazon would do a better job keeping these from getting back out to the market.
Well to be fair.. they did take them off their circulation (or well..at the very least these specific items, maybe not the sellers in general. Probably not). But maybe some items should be permanently marked or altered in a way it’d be unreasonable for resale, but fit for donation? Clearly marked counterfeit, so a reseller with low morals can’t pass them off as real.
Just FYI the Wreckfest game on PS5 is actually the PAL European version. It has the PEGI rating in orange on the front. I'm not sure if the PS5 is region locked.
I got the middle size overstock amazon box ($57) that they claim has multiple items in it. I got a generic sef of earbuds!!° Don't fall for this scam.....thieving Chinese
All those "hundreds of games in one" discs are Chinese "fakes". There is NO official version of those. They are ROM caches and probably not legal to sell within the US at all. (I've bought them before. Why? Because the actual games they represent can be VERY hard to find since they're out of print and haven't been in production for like a decade. ROM caches + Bootleg emulator handhelds = cheap old school fun!) XD
I know your not going to give away many of your secrets - I am in Canada and was looking for return boxes. It seems like here there are 4 or 5 auction houses that get the stuff direct but they open everything first and list everything individually. Do you know if that is the way they just do it here? Thanks.
Id say, bad people buy real item from Amazon, return crap item, sell real one for more money for Amazon does not care what it gets back, and you end up with shit stuff at the end you cannot do jack really with ;)
What do you do, when receiving counterfeit items ?? Contact who ?? You have no idea who returned the items. But I can't think places like Amazon being happy their platform/shop is used to sell counterfeit items, so is their a way to report stuff like that back to them ??
Franchise ... this is a new trend for companies selling "mystery boxes" ... this allows them to "fluff" i.e., adding fake value the box(s) and at the same time, claim these are returns when they are not. I would no longer do business with that company any longer.
Maybe you should do a video or two of what to look for on a counterfeit item. Especially things you know like the Funko pop and your wife could also tell us what she looks for too. 😀😀
In all the boxes u open everything is like new or lightly used, in real most of the items are broken. obviously is staged and they put the goods in the box first, sealed it with tape and then opened in again in camera to sell their crap. The mystery boxes are scam
i understand the reseller rules but another ebay thing to do is actually look how much there going for and if they are being sold at all there are some items on there that have been there for 7 years at the asking price not being sold at all I saw a doll on there and they said 300 I checked again after 2 years the doll still was there I checked again in a week the doll was still there {I checked the sellers credentials it was good positive feedback the only negative comment was the post lost the package for a week but they eventually got the item} I checked ebay for other dolls the same brand and they were selling same condition but cheaper so that's another issue you have to look at as well what prices are selling or is yours going to sit there for years collecting dust cause of your price point
If you make sure you explicitly state it’s a counterfeit item and price it fairly as such, would you be able to get away with it? Some people would still purchase a counterfeit reproduction since it would be cheaper than the official product, knowing the potential risks involved.
That's arguable worse than just listing it as normal becuase you're admitting to knowing it's fake. Unfortunately there's no way to get around it. Only thing you could is flog it locally and hope no one reports you to trading standards... Or just bin it..
I buy the DS multi carts and the repro Nintendo carts aswell. I myself have no problem with it because I know what I am buying and as a buyer I like that I can buy these on Amazon. I would only have a problem with them if they told me they were genuine games. Some people even collect bootlegs.
It's weird. But some fakes are still collectables. I see a lot of listings on ebay that say fake in the title. I wouldn't do it. But if you clearly state that it's fake. Then I think you can do it.
It's a good thing that you caught all the counterfeit items before you listed them. I just don't understand why large companies are selling fake merchandise. 😕. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas 🎄❤😊
I hate getting CF goods in my amazon boxes. But it is part of the game. Gotta take the losses and move on. One time I got a box that I shit you not was full of CF Iphone otterbox cases. But then sometimes you win. I recently got a electronics lot at auction for $325 shipped that had 2 apple series 7 watches and 2 Milwaukee drill sets hidden under about 7 google nest thermostats. So you never know. I like the thrill of the hunt.
Out of print games can sometimes be worth more than their original MSRP, and that one comes with the necessary adapter to play Rock Smith. If the songs on the 2014 edition are sought after ones or you can't get them anymore, could affect price for better or worse. I don't anticipate you finding a factory sealed legitimate SNES Earthbound ;) But definitely some niche games that are out of print, you could get lucky. Seems like if you weren't doing these videos it wouldn't be worthwhile to even do this. Terrible items in that one. I'll have to check some of your other vids to find a good one :D
This is why you only buy from "ships from and sold by Amazon" only! Several years ago I ended up with a fake Sonic Advance 2 with manual and also one where the seller didn't tell me a GBA was a PAL version (I wanted the US version and thought I was buying from the US) and when I questioned the seller and said I needed the US version and not the PAL version he sarcastically told me to just "throw it [the PAL version that was sent] in the trash". :P And as if that wasn't bad enough, my wife once ended up with a set of fake UNO cards that were printed all wrong and smelled funny (for whatever reason). Why of all things UNO decks would counterfeited is beyond me...
All xxx in 1 carts are counterfeit, from the gameboy onwards they've been produced, also seen them for megadrive and sega game gear. Ive got maybe 20 of them as I started collecting them a few years ago for gameboys and gameboy advances.
Pokemon and Yugioh have so much of counterfits. Pokemon you can tell by the low quality pictures of the packs with yugioh they do like how the side sets does. Making multiple of monsters as the pack arts when the main sets or some side sets only have one pack art. Also with pokemon decks the way you can tell it is counterfit or not. They have either a weird bulge or something slanted for their decks. Also on top of that they will have a little window for the main card. If it is a dual decks they usually have the 2 windows to feature the 2 main pokemon. So for it being just the box without the windows are counterfit. The only way that it won't have windows are small tins, Pokeball tins, Trainer boxes, and booster boxes. The rest will have little windows or big ones. Also look at the quality of the cards as well.
About 15 years ago I paid 10 dollars to go to a liquidation sell advertised on the radio. It said they sold ipods, stereo equipment, t.v.'s all at super low prices. I got there and it was all counterfeit crap. I was so mad, but I definitely learned my lesson.
You get a lot of collectible Nintendo games on Amazon which are being sold as new and sealed which they have resealed themselves so they are selling used games as new
So you get banned for selling bootleg items, but yet amazon just sold it to you... Can you send the items back to Amazon and get reimbursed? Amazon should ban itself

True, Amazon does definitely not play by their own rules. They temp ban small businesses all the time for tiny mistakes that they keep making 24/7.
Was thinking same thing.
Same thing happened to me on eBay I'm banned in one of the categories because I bought a whole auction at a Liquidation Center they were P90X videos and I put them on eBay and somebody reported it and they said it was counterfeit banned for life in that category
Just in case I only buy video games from retail I don’t trust Amazon guaranteed the games are counterfeit
Its more like amazon bans a seller for selling fakes. Then sells the remaining stock from the banned seller to liquidation who then sells to the next seller to then be banned on amazon again. The games and pops that keep on giving.
Your really want them views with this "counterfeit" box.
I think you missed a small box in the box.
Yeh i noticed that.
actually factory sealed doesn't mean squat. i had factory sealed items but i opened it because it felt too light and guess what it was empty. people reseal items.
Its impossible to reseal an item exactly like it was sealed in the factory though...and 99% of the time its the wrong kind of shrink film used. Its easy to tell if its resealed or not.
Good Wednesday morning to you sir and your family from Wellington Somerset in the UK
Morning

It may have been what was returned to Amazon after sending out the legit items, fake for real
i thought so too xxx
I love counterfeit unboxings!! Especially Funko Pops.
I like seeing crazy designs with those type
@@JustaMomnFamily me too!
Hahaha 😄😂
I think you left an item in the box.
Like the video… but the curious cat in me needs to know what you left in the box 📦 🐈⬛👀👀
Thank goodness you have an 👀 for the counterfeits!

I doubt he reads any of the comments
Do you have any redress with the liquidator? It seems unfair that you can be banned for life for selling counterfeit yet it’s ok for Amazon to do it!
Clint, remember it is bad luck to give a free knife.
I think the skiing goggles and thethermostat just made up for the counterfeit items.
Great info for the community on how to handle counterfeit goods. I wish Amazon would do a better job keeping these from getting back out to the market.

Amazon and eBay sells those DS rom game cartridges all day every day
Crazy the amount of energy some people put into scams. They could actually use those skills to run a legit business.
Just FYI the Wreckfest game on PS5 is actually the PAL European version. It has the PEGI rating in orange on the front. I'm not sure if the PS5 is region locked.
That knife is: Viking knife meat cleaver. Selling at Amazon for $39.99
as someone who collects poekmon cards i knew right away from that box that those were fake D:
I was wondering why I haven't got a notification from you. Somehow I got unsubscribed... 😭
I got the middle size overstock amazon box ($57) that they claim has multiple items in it. I got a generic sef of earbuds!!° Don't fall for this scam.....thieving Chinese

Pokemon is definitely fake!

good luck trying to sell that graphics card i wish you luck 🤣🤣🤣selling that card at crypto mining prices i know i wouldn't give you that price.

If you’re spending $50 for mike and Molly, please rethink your life decisions 😕
he is almost cute...all the " counterfeit" stuff is on ebay next day....=)))) i love this guy
The knife seems to be sold by various vendors on Face Book adverts as being "chinese" "japanese" and "viking?"
That knife is 100% trash. Made from 18/10 and is painted. Worth about $5.
Most of the stuff on Amazon seems to be fake. I saw a video where the guy bought 10 SD cards and 8 of them were counterfeit.
Any mulricart with over 5 games are always pirated. I will add there are hundreds of sellers on Ebay and Amazon who sell them. I wont sell them ether.
Great video..good eye on the counterfeits....say hi to wifey n we love seeing her too
Woke up good Shame about the counterfeits
Didn't know about the blood pressure on ebay, I've actually have that one for sale. Going to take it down.
Maybe you should do a video or two of what to look for on a counterfeit item. Especially things you know like the Funko pop and your wife could also tell us what she looks for too. 😀😀

I Like Tha Fake Funko.. I Think U Could Sell as Long as Listed as Fake *
You can kind of tell it’s fake with how shiny glossy the label is on the cartridge
If you make sure you explicitly state it’s a counterfeit item and price it fairly as such, would you be able to get away with it? Some people would still purchase a counterfeit reproduction since it would be cheaper than the official product, knowing the potential risks involved.

$Hipzip 14: That would still risk a lawsuit by the trademark/register owners -- not worth the risk! 😒
I buy the DS multi carts and the repro Nintendo carts aswell. I myself have no problem with it because I know what I am buying and as a buyer I like that I can buy these on Amazon. I would only have a problem with them if they told me they were genuine games. Some people even collect bootlegs.

So the guy that sold u that fake Funko could he face a life time suspension also since he sold u a fake sand didn't know he did.
anyone else have a feeling all the counterfeit stuff was returned by the same person
Good video but I hate ur edit of skipping just skip don’t need to transition lol
Awesome! Those goggles made up for the Counterfeit items! Sad to hear about the Pokemon cards! 😭
I'll buy all your fakes if they are garbage. To donate lol
You missed something in the box
Bruh living on the edge by the way he is using that knife.
Use that pop for some target practicing
Those were not the Smith 4d mag goggles in that box!
👀
Those Pokémon cards are fakes
I have been enjoy this series of boxes
um do sell those multi carts they are full of great games
Can i buy the fake Naruto funko from you?
Hey Clint u got some nice deals on ur eBay store
use google lens and find out the knife
This is bad
Another great game Jase.
Still have the 208 DS game?
That xbox game was not new
It's a good thing that you caught all the counterfeit items before you listed them. I just don't understand why large companies are selling fake merchandise. 😕. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas 🎄❤😊
Dont think its The companys.
Most likely individuals doing it.... so many dishonest people out there any more.
Someone probably bought the legit releases and sent the bootlegs they got suckered into in the past.
I hate getting CF goods in my amazon boxes. But it is part of the game. Gotta take the losses and move on. One time I got a box that I shit you not was full of CF Iphone otterbox cases. That is a good brand.
It a real one it said YKK
Love the reel!

That funko pop is a gamestop exclusive, I don’t buy any exclusives from any other store listed on Amazon for 1. Overpriced 2. Could be counterfeit
I recommend keeping Wreckfest! At least play it once. It my all-time favorite racing game. I've been playing racing games since the 80s.

Bet that counterfeit stuff sold quicker than anything else
@Jon Pon: Are you kidding? He couldn't sell the counterfeit items because he couldn't risk being banned for life by eBay. 😒

Marketplace won't let you see the blood pressure monitor either. No medical supplies apparently (I tried selling a cold therapy machine)
Opens up an old 64 game... "I've got a bad feeling about this" NO KIDDING!!!
Definitely check the switch game, counterfeiters are now doing switch games!!!

Wow thats crazy this box is full of fake stuff wow thats crazy to get that kind of stuff
Hey Clint. It's been a while...Hate fakes and damaged/broken items too!
Why not add about 5 more ads to this video?
ok, next time
What website do you buy the liquidation stuff from? I am interested in picking up some stuff
who returns those pops without being banned . do you report yhe operation ,thats alot of tmput to gain how much brfore you're caught?
You get a lot of collectible Nintendo games on Amazon which are being sold as new and sealed which they have resealed themselves so they are selling used games as new
Wow, can't believe all the fakes. Rest of box good tho... loved it...
I can't access your ebay store. It says you're on holiday and everything is sold out.
I miss having records … but maybe they aren’t sellable as electronics
Nice a another return liquidation box let's open this box let's do this
You still had 1 item left in the Box Clint.
Did I hear honeyhell lol
walmart and amazon just announce they full of counterfit stuff
If you can get in trouble for selling counterfeit stuff can't they also get in trouble for selling it to you too.
Wondering where to get a box so I could resell???
