Pants deserve to rest, from my perspective at least. I was there when this man was at the brink of breaking down because he couldn't hit rank 1, and kept getting losses. He deserves to do whatever he wants now, since his main goal was hitting rank 1. Though, I still have hope that he will resurface with an interesting series.

If twitch rivals happens again and if there's some kind of actual rivalry and drama and Pants somehow joins a team where he can collide with said rivalry and drama, i think he can make a come back lol idk maybe im just tired and need to sleep hahaha
Fr. Especially with the rise of stream snipers who bet on content creators losing in order to gain profit, now is a better time to drop competitive Riot games as a means of income. It's just not worth the stress.

I really have so much respect for pants. I have been a jungle main ever since I watched his videos back then. He was really the go-to channel for high elo jungle guides. People just got older and those who followed him probably don't play that much anymore.

People like Redmercy (he even replied to his video on this thematic- chill as always) and Pants look like decent people and (specially) for a young person to be amoung the best for a decade is pretty stressfull journey even if you're doing something you like. Also you have to be pretty competative and don't want to fall off once you are high so you must provide all the time because people will simply find another person to follow instead. When I begun this journey in Season 5, Red, Pants, box box and Gosu were 4 players I have been watching the most. I know it's not his video and he already has one but I thought Red is Riot Games's staff, with how quickly he came up with tactics after each new champion release and patch so it's inevitable to everyone, to fall a bit or even quit.
Edit: I wrote this even before watching a video but in the intro where Red, xPeke and Pants are Shaclone is such intruder, simply can't ignore that ^.
Also with him gaining some audience after he started to do some generic stuff says enough how much he's likeable character.

The problem with Pants and why he never got as much attention is because many thought he was just naturally not entertaining as a person and he was trying so hard to have this trendy UA-camr energy but it never worked out. Also his persona as a UA-camr made him come across as just a content creator although he’s clearly one of the best players on the server. That’s why when he got rank1 he was quite frustrated that nobody cared or even knew about it. It really sucks because he did nothing wrong, it’s just how things go sometimes.

Only so much u can do with 1 game for 13 years. He hit his rank 1 n just started havin fun his way. I played some arams with him before n he was a good dude n pretty funny for the few games we played. I still watch his stuff from time to time. We love u pants!

@LoLAthlete could you do one on trinimmortal. Used to love that guys content back in the day, was always sad when he stopped playing league as I felt he was underrated af from a content perspective. His series of "beating league of legends" was fantastic also his last pick series was amazing also
There isn't really much left to teach, which is where his niche fell into with the "watch and learn" type of content. Most people also don't really care about League anymore and would rather just play to "have fun" rather than improve and get better. Maybe if League gets better with significant gameplay-based changes people would start caring again, but I doubt it.
People ask RGM modes to be permanent but they continue to neglect that, instead of giving what people ask, they give what noone asked.
They're probably afraid what happened to Warcraft III will happen to League, where the mod Defense of the Ancient took over Warcraft III, now that RGM modes are more fun for people, they're afraid it will exceed their 200 years design philosophy SR.
@@MangaGamify RGM's can't be done efficiently because of the atrocious backend the game is built on, which they haven't fixed for like a decade now because they allocated all of League's resources to other projects, which they are only now starting to put some more on League because those other projects are largely done.
Also, RGMs isn't what people need, because it's the champions themselves that people hate league the most for, not summoner's rift. It's why the novelty will fade pretty quickly once people figure out [x] best champion and just abuse the mode until it's not fun anymore, just like summoner's rift and just like what happened with URF (which is why they had to make it all random urf, and even then the champions are just absolute cancer and will ruin any type of fun).
@@zoroark522 Sure there can be try hards and meta abusers, but that's what's fun about URF, etc. they think they're meta only to see [Defeat] with my backdoor build. Same with tekken, abusing tournament meta like Akuma, Kazuya, kazumi, Feng Julia, then there's the online troll picks like Gigas, Panda, Yoshimitsu, etc.
Also Moba used to be a custom mode in WC3, why do you think it wouldn't happen to League? also what's the point of the 200 year design SR? people already figured it out the best way to enjoy it is via smurfing.
With region segregation and no-bots in PVP, anti-smurfing systems can only go so far.
The good thing about League is it's not a subscription game, it's not a FOMO game either, where if you take a vacation, you'll miss out on non-cosmetic stuff. I even took a 6 year vacation, played a few games, research a bit and I instantly caught up.
Well if they continue to give/not give no one asked, I just hope they don't fire anyone and blame it on us for not supporting them for giving/not giving no one asked.
Lastly, Dota 2's version of RGM's are permanent via "Custom Games" and Dota 2 still pump out bigger average prize money than League. I'm just not a fan of their spells hardly scales with anything.
Sounds like youre just burnt out. League is like chess. The game won't change only your perspective towards it. Take a year off and then comeback
@@Methdemon Taking time off doesn't magically make the game better because the problem isn't a mindset. All taking time off does is make you forget the little things that made you stop in the first place, which gives the impression that it's a mindset when you come back until you slowly remember.

From memory, he would switch between streaming on Twitch and Facebook which I think hurt his viewership as well. I only watched his YT content following his whole climb to rank 1 and it was entertaining af.

Are we gonna ignore the whole N word incident and being rejected from Scouting Grounds as a result. I legit recovered the incident last week, because when it happened there weren't much details of what happened (didn't know about reddit at the time). Add in the fact that he told his twitch stream to downvote the thread so it wouldn't gain attention, followed by the apology video, copyrighting someone uploading the video, him questionable saying he was a little proud of it, and recent win trading allegations............It explains what happened.

They have a really sad story, such talented league music creators that stopped uploading due to copyright issues, getting less and less patreon supporters over the years and falling off in popularity. I'm honestly looking forward to that video.
Actually working on the script for that video right now! Instalok and Sky Williams are like my favorite non-gameplay League channels from that era. Didn’t Lunity marry one of the instalok guys?

Hey, just saying your content has been showing up on my feed, and I dont think, I know your gonna blow up your content is unique and a untapped sub-niche within league of story telling on content creators keep going, I would suggest adding in more visual edits like Sunny V2 does it would improve your content and people would be more inclined to watch who dont usually play league.

Pants fell off because he is boring. He literally has no personality and isn’t as charming as Midbeast when reacting to vods. Every mainstream league content creator has somewhat of a personality, Tarzaned is the toxic jungler, Dante’s is the mentally insane jungler, tyler1 is naturally entertaining and has a funny sense of humor, and kesha has autism. Nowadays you cannot make it if you’re only good at the game, you need to be entertaining as well.

The man sticked to his goal and reached number 1, from there I think the guy had nowhere else to go. If anything, I am happy that he didn't see himself involved in any scam, or any form of accusation. It's hard to keep pumping out high elo videos with every professional player being also a streamer.
