@darkurgediaries I just couldn't with the Walmart Puss and Boots voice, ESPECIALLY when he does the Spite voice. Like, I can't be scene in public with that man, nope. Lol. I don't judge anyone that romances him though, there's no wrong choices when it's pixels and you can reload a new save.
I see I am not the only one... But didn't romance him yet... I kinda let my room follow the flow... Except for the first one where I did Davrin because I had a heart with him and thought It was over with others but damn did I want to romance Emmrich with my shadow dragon rook 😂
So dragon age Lich is more like the D&D Archlich than a D&D Lich. Considering you have to be a literal monster wiling to sacrifice your loved one in front of a Evil entity as a witness to become one in D&D. And an Archlich is more like a benevolent Undead guardian who gets a sort of Immortality because they want to be servants of good for longer than the moral body allows.
@@djukor yes that’s exactly what the grand liches of the necropolis are described as, guardians of sorts and protecting people, there is a conversation you have earlier with emmrich where he dives into this topic!
I just noticed the placement of that case's handle, and now I can't unsee it for some reason. You know, the one where Manfred's gut would have been if he were alive.
I thought I'd be reviving Manfred, but the way Emerich worded the decision made me feel like you could either get in his way or get out of the way, and if he wants to be a lich... I'm there for him.
It feels absolutely wrong to me asking him to throw away his entire life's work, not to mention his core ethos of respecting the cycle of life and death! It's a hard choice!
The way I saw it is that Manfred sacrificed himself for Emmerich so it's only fair he returned the favor. Plus, him and Manfred can work together now to help him obtain lichdom. You are correct that there aren't any "wrong" answers but I'm a Manfred and Assan for life kinda guy.

People say it is bad because it does not feel like a Dragon Age game. It is perfectly fine as a video game; sure, lots of quests, takes a long time to complete. But it is horrible for a Dragon Age game. Veilguard keeps throwing quests at you; it is like a never-ending barrage of quests every time you go back to the Lighthouse. But VERY little substance. So quantity without quality. Dragon Age used to be known for both. Not any more.
@@Psyche0delic I really don't know where you're getting a lack of substance from, I found the majority of the character's journeys interesting and compelling especially Emmrich.
