- We had the best time exploring Oahu on our honeymoon. We got to stay in Honolulu and had the prettiest view of the ocean. Hope you enjoy gorgeous Hawaii as much as we did! Made so many amazing memories here and can’t wait to share our experience on Kauai next week.

This brings me back to my childhood on Oahu in the 60's. There was one Macdonald on Kamehameha highway near our base housing. It was such a trest, hamburger, fries, coke and change back from your dollar. Other times you could get great local food off food trucks. Mahi Mahi sandwich was my favorite. My sister liked seimen noodles. Icees were the main frozen drink. We would stop at the little store and order a large for 35 cents, strawberry and coke swirl. Our whole family ate at local Chinese restaurant for five dollars. Won ton soup, crispy wonton, rose pork, chicken chow mein, chicken with vegetables and green tea with white rice. Fabulous!
I love to see honeymooners so much in love. God has given us a beautiful thing called love and it’s amazing. Spending your life with another is jst a little portion of God’s love. His love is bigger than what are hearts can ever imagine. Congratulations to you both on your new chapter of your life. There is more to come for you both. Remember to always keep God in your marriage and in your lives. We are all given this one life and how we live it is up to us. Embarrassing this beautiful life that God has given to us is so amazing and inviting God to be apart of your everyday life is even better. I’m so happy for you both and may God bless you on your amazing journey with each other.

You’ll are the cutest. I live just a couple of blocks from where you all stayed. My favorite hike is the one you did. My favorite beach is just down the road from the hike. I’m lazy so I pretty much just walk to Waikiki every day and hang out. I’m so glad you enjoyed the island.

You should also watch NCIS Hawaii with Vanessa Lachey! Awesome. Another great one is the new Magnum PI which ran for 4 seasons was cancelled but just announced coming back. Also original Magnum PI with Tom Selleck who I used to babysit for his sister Marty’s kiddos.
I was in Hawaii for a convention over 10 years ago. Our hotel was across the street from the Hilton. I could see the ocean from my balcony. I shopped at the ABC store & at the flea market. Thanks for reminding me of all the places I saw there. I loved Hawaii & would love to go back there again.
Awe, Lydia, Ive forgotton my make-up a couple times! I know how expensive Hawaii is, but I stopped at the first drugstore! I feel for you! You are lucky that you have incredible natural beauty😍

I went to Hawaii many years ago. Left Atlanta about 7am, flew to Denver, had a 4 hour layover. We then flew to San Francisco where our 1 hour layover turned to 2. By the time we got to Honolulu, it was about midnight Atl time. I feel you, lol. We were there for about 10 days. So fun. Would love to go back some day.
When my family went to Hawaii at 3:00 in the morning we were wide awake so we would go sit down by the pool and watch the Stars the sky was beautiful it was so black and white stars would show so much

The best frozen yogurt would be at the Dole plantation where they serve fresh pineapple yogurt right before your eyes they take the pineapple and put it through a machine & Walla
If you’re ever in California go to Carmel there is a lighthouse that you can actually go inside of

I was just in Progreso, Yucatan Mexico on Oct 26th. One vendor had the coolest Maui hooks in all different sizes, including on necklaces.
