I swear I learn something every video you post. The time lapse voice over definitely adds to the learning experience. I aspire one day to have a successful performance shop like yours. Keep up the great work!
Thought I was the only one that thought this…watching a technical genius work is awesome but being able to hear why they do the things they do…GAMECHANGER…Kevin you are the car GURU
Definitely like the current dub over the time lapse. Note: using a sewing thread ripping tool to cut off the heat shrink is the easiest way I've ever found.
The roof mounted camera view on the test drive was sensational! It meant we could (again) appreciate the quality of the finish on Mullet while enjoying the glorious sounds of the twin turbskis spooling 🥰 Thanks team KSR!
I can not wait to see how this goes at testing. I hope to see you and Cleetus make a setup database for each track you take Mullet to. Engine tune, suspension, tyre pressures etc that work at particular tracks. Taking note of the track-prep condition and ambient temperatures that you experienced and how Mullet responded to each change you make to chase those best times.
In the days before computers ruled the world that information was all kept in the crew chiefs “little black book” but you are definitely correct. Myself I personally like the idea of having one laptop computer that is dedicated to one car that way all of the data for every run of a particular vehicle (Dyno-tune files, car setup, tune data, track data etc is made on and stored on one computer. Additionally I am a firm believer of belts and suspenders backing up that data from that laptop to a portable hard-drive as well as on-line to a secure data storage site.
@@gullreefclub this guy gets it. I'll raise you one and suggest they could just have the computer built right into the car, and access it remotely on an iPad if that's all they had on hand to grab data, or plug a portable USB-powered screen and keyboard into the dash directly to tune the car. You can get rugged computers/cell modems out of cop cars/commercial vehicles on eBay for relatively cheap, then their car is always connected anywhere, can log every run, and backup all data automatically. Added bonus: it would also make a functional LoJack if it ever got stolen. As an IT sysadmin, that's how I'd do it if I worked there.
gotta LOVE the TH-400 , one of the best transmissions general motors ever built ,,i run a TH-400 in my 1983 GMC 3500,, had it rebuilt by a local trans builder with 450,000 miles ,,i'm up to 20K miles since the rebuild ,, it'll handle my turbocharged 454 big block with no trouble ,,,i routinely tow 25000 pounds
When you have the sped up sections of the video, I like letting my eyes wander around looking at your work. Your craftsmanship is just so tight! I can only imagine where you’re going and where you’ll be.
Kevin your getting really good at this youtube stuff. Voice over time lapse is a genius move. We get the info we need, you can jam throughout your day music blasting work happening. Keep up the stellar work KSR
I have said it once but I will say it again. Your videos has really gone to the next level. With the talk over time lapses, you have learned to engage your audience. Although this was a relatively short video it was very enjoyable and entertaining. I appreciate all the time and effort that you have put into making these changes.
The voice over the time laps is a great idea, it does prep your explanations more technical and at the location of the work done. Thanks and take care.
Kevin, get something hanging out that bus please. Turbos, pipes, something. As long as it’s not a Count Customs Horney Mike add on, he murdered a bus if you haven’t seen it. Loved the detail about setting this trans up. I could do it myself now.
Incredible execution once again by the KSR team. You can really tell the TH400 sounds minty fresh and is making super crisp shifts. Would not be surprised to see 6's coming soon. 👍
I love the voice over time lapse explaining what's going on and what your doing while time lapsing is awesome keeps us in the loop so we're not guessing lol
I know you probably get a lot of various comments about the time lapse - I've personally never minded them, but you have so much knowledge to share that I always had hoped you would explain what you doing so im super excited that you've started doing it. So, thank you. Good luck! Keep winning!
Those shifts sound so slick it sounded like a sequential! Once the lockup issue and everything is solved, it would be interesting how it would translate to faster times on the strip, right off the bat!
Its all very exciting but I think the most exciting thing is door panels! the rattle when the door closed used to drive me bonkers! great job as always Kevin!
I'm loving the new video format with commentary and the good old soundtracks! One thing I would like to see is power steering in Mullet. Can you try using a BMW or Mini Cooper electric steering rack?
No interruption to the Undiluted god-like car knowledge and tips and tricks. And now we viben at the same time! Kevin you cracked the code! That's all the serotonin!
Love the time lapse commentary by the way. Also love the channel in general. I am a diesel technician that specializes in school buses but love the “Hot Rod/drag race” scene. I have enjoyed every video you have put out since I saw you for the first time on Cleetus’ channel. Also, love the fact your a Florida man like myself. I live in Lake County and primarily work in Marion County. Maybe one day I can make it into Alachua County and have time to stop by and say hi. Thank you for the informative videos you do and they are also entertaining to watch as well.
Coming from a pdr technician, you need pool noodles or something on those lift posts especially with the caliber of vehicles come in and out of there. Love the content and have watched every upload.
The commentary on the time lapse is solid gold! 👍 I really wish my dad could check out some of the cars you've built. You're so alike when it comes to planning ahead and making things clean it's unreal. He's a hot rod guy as much as a drag racer so you can go back over some of his builds and be like "damn all this stuff you can't see is so beautiful" lol
I love it with the little music in the background!!!! Sooo good!!! Great job Kev. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels. Thanks for all of the effort youre putting in
Kevin! Love the additional commentary over the time-lapse. Feels alot more engaging. Keep it up man, absolutely love what you do.
He has heard that comment a 100 million times.
@UCpzZCopulTCYnLqtwEdVb3g I know right? How’s he gonna know if we don’t give him feed back. Some people just gotta be negative!
Seconded!
Agreed, really enjoying this channel!
I came here to say this also
Voice over + background music = perfection. Love that.
Turbo whine with some TH400 whine in perfect harmony.. music to our ears
the talking time lapse was a good idea, Kudos to whoever came up with that.
The making of that photo of the three Cleeter cars is something awesome… photographer was hanging out of the minivan shooting that.
6:40 Tad's excitement really shows how much of a family y'all are. I can tell the guys are getting more comfortable around the camera too. 😅
That's a kick-ass MULLET DREW IS WORKING WITH FOR SURE 👍
Saw the Mullet today at Indy PRI. Looking good in the TBM booth. Thanks to Kevin and the boys for getting it ready for the show.
Talking over a timelapse is a win win :) Gives the video a nice touch :)
Kevin I love the talking time lapse.. I know it takes a little bit more time to do, but it is much appreciated. Happy Birthday Kevin.
The talk over of the time lapse really is a nice touch and is appreciated!
Love the talking time lapse
I'm so happy the timelapse music is back, I really jam to it for some reason. Having it as the background of you talking is a win-win-win
The combo of backing track & voice over explainer is perfect! Chef's kiss! Well done!
Talking over the time lapse is way better than just music. love the content 👍
The combo voice over and low level music on the time lapse is bad ass. Next level kevin. Keep up the awesome work
Good improvisation of a go no go gauge. I’ll remember that trick.
I swear I learn something every video you post. The time lapse voice over definitely adds to the learning experience. I aspire one day to have a successful performance shop like yours. Keep up the great work!
The bar has been set. Voice over time lapse is the best.
Thought I was the only one that thought this…watching a technical genius work is awesome but being able to hear why they do the things they do…GAMECHANGER…Kevin you are the car GURU
I second that! GREAT WORK!! Keep it up!
Definitely like the current dub over the time lapse.
Note: using a sewing thread ripping tool to cut off the heat shrink is the easiest way I've ever found.
Now that’s a good idea!!
I used to skip some of the timelapse. But with you talking I'm hooked.
The roof mounted camera view on the test drive was sensational! It meant we could (again) appreciate the quality of the finish on Mullet while enjoying the glorious sounds of the twin turbskis spooling 🥰 Thanks team KSR!
talking timelapse is a great addition too the videos. and the music in background is great too!
seeing video of mullet being built and upgraded is the ultimate behind the scene!
Such a awesome birthday gift 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸badass shot
The voice over during the time lapse works really well. Great idea.
It is always great to see you behind the wheel of a build Kevin.
I hope the work load has lightened a little for you with Drew on board now.
Upper door interior trim looks nice.
I can not wait to see how this goes at testing. I hope to see you and Cleetus make a setup database for each track you take Mullet to.

Love the voice over time lapse it's nice to hear about what you are working on and some of the importance behind it.
I could hear you perfectly with the music in the background… Nice job
Really really enjoy your videos
I want that poster! That's a quality birthday present right there. Happy late birthday Kevin!
The narration over the time lapse is wonderful. Major improvement, thanks.
Great way to start Thursday. Breakfast with KSR & Mullet.

When you have the sped up sections of the video, I like letting my eyes wander around looking at your work.

I'm a BIG fan of the talking time lapse. The more I can learn from a video, the better. 👍🏻
I love the fact that Leroy Ruby and Mullet are all just as much celebrities and any human on any other UA-cam channel
that is one cool photo, happy belated b-day!
I have adhd & talking while time lapses is perfect! I no longer lose concentration while watching! Good job man!
Those shifts sound so slick it sounded like a sequential! Once the lockup issue and everything is solved, it would be interesting how it would translate to faster times on the strip, right off the bat!

Talking time laps! I love it!!!
The drill bit trick is a neat, Never even thought about that!
Have fun at the PRI. I've only been to it once but it was a great time!
Mullet has door cards! I don't know why, but that always stood out to me as the only "unfinished" thing of the build.
I really love the voice-over on your timelapses. It really helps understand what you're doing and why! Thanks Kevin!
Kevin, I love your content. I also really appreciate that when you put in background music, I don't have to turn my volume down. Cuddos to you.
Your commentary with the camera has really come along. Looking comfortable. Love the content man.
I'm loving the new video format with commentary and the good old soundtracks! One thing I would like to see is power steering in Mullet. Can you try using a BMW or Mini Cooper electric steering rack?
