Holloway didn't hit a new level, he's been in his prime for some time now and only looks like a world beater when you allow him to build combinations off of his jab. If you take his jab away, he looks human as he is either forced to resort to throwing naked strikes or in the case of the Yair fight shoot takedowns. I'm not saying he can't win the belt again, he can but its not looking good for him when Volk has fought him twice and both times had a game-plan that worked. Lets say he fights Volk a third time and finally wins, there's going to be a fourth fight and every chance Volk comes back beats him again.

    Crazy thing is that if you count WEC (which is arguable since it was the premier FW division and the UFC absorbed it), Aldo would be the youngest champ at 23 years and approx. 2 months.

  • @Ar1AnX1x
    @Ar1AnX1x 2 роки тому +3

    dude I think Max having a great chin really does help him a lot, I mean featherweight mostly don't have one punch knock-out power but some of them like Aldo hit really hard and can put people to sleep with a couple of shots but Max can eat all of those, he ate Aldo's shots like they're nothing and then melts them with volume, he's a great fighter but his style would fall apart without his great chin.

Jon was the underdog. And to see him Starting the fight with a flying knee.. throwing spinning back kicks. Dude has Incredible wrestling and those elbows from the top. 😵 I remember people calling him the next Silva after but god damn did his Arsenal go deep. He was doing shit we didn’t see at the time in MMA. And he’s been doing it for over a decade. Easy to say he’s the goat.
