i love how even in an environment such as a movie interview melissa isn’t ashamed of asking for help with english. she’s just like “english is not my firs language so please help me on this”
Hands down one of my absolute favourite vampire movies it was hilarious and these actors done a fabulous job especially this young lady and Melissa fair play to both mains.
Alisha and Melissa are such a delight together - though haven't seen the movie yet! "Joey...I'm so sorry what I'll have to do to you" - one of the best lines ever.
Starting with Abigail I will watch every single movie Melissa Barrera appears in until the end of time. As always thank you Perri for continued support and I hope you both continue to flourish & succeed in all your endeavors.
I actually felt bad for Abigail at the end. Like, yeah, she’s a bloodthirsty murderous monster, but she’s also a centuries-old woman trapped in a little girl’s body, created by a father that doesn’t love her and only sees her as a tool. But, yeah, she’s still a psychotic mass murderer. I wonder if she would stop it all (aside from the feeding to stay alive) if she could, like if she was “rescued” from her father, or if she enjoyed ripping people apart too much, which you definitely see in the movie.
*IF* there is a sequel, they'll have to come-up with an explanation as to *why* Abigail, who has been frozen at the age of 12-years-old for centuries, looks older, as her actress, Alisha Weir, will be older.
Easy fix you could just say they're vampires age weird. The rules are different in this world. It could be something like every 50 years she goes up by 3 human years. Or you can go the orphan first kill route which was kind of weird I hope they don't do that lol. there vampires aren't weak against holy symbols or garlic. Sometimes it's because the person holding the holy symbol doesn't believe in it. But it wasn't explained in this one but I have seen it before.
Spoilers . . . . . If they did a part 2 I like exploring if Melissa could kill the progenitor vampire to uncurse Abigail and her dad (or kill her dad to uncurse Abigail if that's a thing).
When Frank bit Joey and he died, Abigail told Joey she was fine since he was dead. So the idea is already established. I could definitely see Joey coming back for Abigail to free her from her dad who neglects her and tries to give her a normal childhood since she said "She doesn't know normal kid stuff" I'm definitely down to see that movie.
Killing her dad won't do anything. She had the "full treatment" same with frank. When frank killed lambert, frank stayed being a vampire considering that his anatomy was basically already vampirized. Sammy was hypnotized and mind controlled, some sort of mindless thrall.
Absolutely Outstanding Interview. You nailed it. Would absolutely love love a part 2. I saw it 4 times on. Friday on the IMAX, each time the theater was empty, sure hope that this 1 does not tank
Abigail was awesome. I'd give it about a 7.5/10, about the same as I'd give 'Ready or Not.' I can't wait for 'Ready or Not 2,' the first one was so entertaining.
For the sequel, I think it would be neat if Abigail met Joey son Caleb and vampire cults are after him and Joey and Joey gets killed and Joey makes Abigail promise to protect him and she becomes like his lethal protector.
Melissa I loved your role in the scream movies you did such a great job and Alisha I honestly am dying to see this movie I’ve been rewatching the trailer for almost two weeks and I am so excited you both did such an amazing job in this movie and I can’t wait to see it
I’m so proud of the whole cast. Melissa did excellent & I have been a huge fan of hers since Scream 5. And Radio Silence’s filmography has another banger ❤️
Melissa: I would be a junk food eater vampire Me: too damn relatable 😂😂😂 , also yes I wanted to know way more any Abigail's backstory and more worldbuilding about the vampires so hopefully we get a sequel 🙏
I certainly hope there is a sequel. The chemistry the two had in each scene was great. Ok writers it’s on you. They are willing and we want to see another, so get busy.
They It did a great job with this movie.Everybody was actually believableave it all and you know I hope they make a part too.And I hope the two main characters are there are in the movie
Alisha amazing character in vampire and make up so💕💕 perfect👍👍👍 and dancing💃💃💃 with kidnapping guys so💕💕💕💕 lovely destroy vampire style that was amazing scene... I💕 like and enjoying 💕❤💕very much❤❤❤❤
Melissa looks at her like a proud mother. I'm sure Alisha's parents were more at ease knowing their daughter was in good hands.
Alisha is such a pro at such young age. And I’m glad Melissa is so protective of her young co Star.
i love how even in an environment such as a movie interview melissa isn’t ashamed of asking for help with english. she’s just like “english is not my firs language so please help me on this”
I thought she grew up in the US because her accent is perfect.
I would love to see a sequel ( and a prequel)!
i would love to see a prequel.
and a trequel ( if that exist)
I would love to see the prequel first, then the sequel.

I'm sorry about what's going to happen to you. *
If they're gonna make a sequel, they have to get on it right away because Alisha is not going to be a kid forever, unlike Abigail.
she looks the same, shes 15 years old now, but looks the same as a 12 year old. close to the same height too
Melissa and Alisha are so adorable 😊❤
Can't Wait !!! for Abigail 2 🔥🔥🔥

After watching the vampire trivia with all of the actors. It was cool to see how close the cast was.
You can tell they really adore each other

THAT would actually feel like a natural follow up
When Frank bit Joey and he died, Abigail told Joey she was fine since he was dead. So the idea is already established.

The film was in IMAX?!
It was in Chicago for the 1ST Week before it tanked at the box office. Thanks for asking
I feel like there's going to be a sequel just from the fact Abigail said "see you around Joey".
Abigail was awesome. I'd give it about a 7.5/10, about the same as I'd give 'Ready or Not.' I can't wait for 'Ready or Not 2,' the first one was so entertaining.
0:39 she fixed her hair like a mother 😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤
What a nice interview. Good job Ms Barrera. Alisha Weir is adorable.
For the sequel, I think it would be neat if Abigail met Joey son Caleb and vampire cults are after him and Joey and Joey gets killed and Joey makes Abigail promise to protect him and she becomes like his lethal protector.
Maybe that would lead the way to a loose reimagining of Son of Dracula. Since the Count dose have two kids in the Universal Universe.
❤
That means no more Melissa?! No thanks
Or maybe the count falls in love with Joey and he turns her and her son and they become this crazy dysfunctional family.
@@corbinnugent3728 I remember at the end of the movie, Abigail’s father took Joey’s hand and kissed it. So this might be a possible sequel idea!
What a sharp young lady. I wanted to guess her accent before I looked her up and I was right she’s Irish
great job as always perri
Congratulations to that young lady for such a brilliant performance 🎭 Also for Melissa and all of the cast. Great movie 🎥
Just finished watching this movie ,,,hoping for a sequel
Melissa I loved your role in the scream movies you did such a great job and Alisha I honestly am dying to see this movie I’ve been rewatching the trailer for almost two weeks and I am so excited you both did such an amazing job in this movie and I can’t wait to see it
Thanks for putting up the spoiler warning! I'll check it out after I see the movie!
I’m so proud of the whole cast. Melissa did excellent & I have been a huge fan of hers since Scream 5. And Radio Silence’s filmography has another banger ❤️
This was a great movie. Even my husband who hates horror loved this! He even wants there to be a Abigail 2! Please get that going!!
Perri you are an excellent interviewer🥰
I love the chemistry between Melissa and Alisha ( like when Melissa plays with Alisha’s hair as the later answers a question.

I would love Caleb to be played by the kid from Sound of Freedom. Born for acting, that boy.
"Embrace the blood"... 😅
THERE NEEDS TO BE A NUMBER 2 PLEEEAAASSSEE
Alisha is the best she was amazing as ABIGAIL
Like a sequel were Joey becomes a vampire married to dracula and Abigail step mom vampire family

Ask Isabelle fuhrman she used whipcream to remove the fake blood 😊
There could definitely be a sequel
I love this movie
Melissa is a god mother to Alisha like I swear she is the most kind person to her
Love Melissa….but……I need to see a prequel. How old is Abigail? And that penthouse massacre!?!! 😮
I would like to see ABIGAIL 2
Valdez is adorable
Isn't frank valdez 😂???

There could never be a sequel unless they recast …. By the time they film it she’ll be 3 years older and vampire unfortunately don’t age
I have a massive crush on Alisha weir 😻 ❤❤
Esa película. La mire ayer y da más risa que miedo😂
Ese era el objetivo pues....
Imagine they cast Wesley Snipes in the sequel
Finally a movie without a woke death script. Finally a good movie.
Melissa we know is great, except for her politics. But Alisha is so great. She has the most awesome personality. But, of course, she's Irish.
