Frederick Kamara it is less bitter and has more of a fresh baked bread smell. if you do not like hops than this is the beer for you. you can get weissbier or wheat beer almost anywhere.

Has a slight banana aftertaste compared to lager. But very refreshing

You really can’t compare Becks or Heineken to a wheat beer. Hefeweizen beer is smooth, usually with a banana and spice taste. Also, if you don’t care for a hoppy bitterness, try a Hefeweizen.

I'm a macro lager and pillsner drinker too and drking Erdinger and Schinder wisebiber tap 7 got me into Wheat beer

I am a huge fan of weissbier, however considering that weissbier is made from wheat, not barley. How does the " Rheinheitsgebot" law apply here?

Wrong. Ist *has* to be drunk out of this specific glass. If you fill it in a regular beer glass you are probably going to be hit here in Bavaria.
