I save your shopping videos to watch after I get the grandkids in bed and I can go in my room and watch them, uninterrupted!! And at the end when you smile and say make it fun and I’ll see you on the next one, that makes me smile back at you. Then I turn out the light and go to sleep 💤. Thanks 🙏
I love selling ties! Been selling them for about 15 years.. at first I would take my "list" of names along, also knew to look for silk ties of course. They are easy to store and easy to ship and easy to get to "know" the higher end names. Also fun novelty ties, holiday ties, skinny ties and vintage weird ones sell too! Just watch out for stains and snags. I had a dry cleaner that would do ties at $1 a pop if you brought other stuff in with them and any that needed a deeper cleaning I would take in to him.
Shortly after I watched this video I found a Bill Kliban flying cat mug in my local thrift store. Thanks to you, I knew what it was and snatched it up right away for a good price! 🙂
I stopped picking up big or fragile items too. And I've decided as long as I make my money back (average cost $5), I'll accept low offers on a lot of items in my store. My 2024 goal is to clear out a lot of old inventory - it's all got to go!
It’s a shut box, not a calendar. You need two dice to shake and then add up the dice. You turn up the tiles that add up the amount you rolled. You try to turn all of your tiles to win. To go out, your roll has to add up to the exact tiles left.
Favorite item …… maybe the butter dish ! Beautiful ! Maybe you could do all of the Goodwills over 2 days …. Or 3 lol . We don’t want you to wear yourself out . 🤪😂🥰
The wooden tray with the numbers is a game. You roll two dice and try to eliminate all the numbers, flipping them up as you play. The lidded box in the corner is to store the dice.
Blue napkin rings in box..3 were matching but one had different pattern. There were 3others on bottom shelf after Autom figurine that may have matched. Maybe you could make it a Goodwill weekend marathon.
“Goodwill was founded in 1902 in Boston by Rev. Edgar J. Helms, a Methodist minister and early social innovator. Helms collected used household goods and clothing in wealthier areas of the city, then trained and hired those who were poor to mend and repair the used goods. The goods were then resold or were given to the people who repaired them. The system worked, and the Goodwill philosophy of “a hand up, not a hand out” was born. “ High prices at Goodwill does not fit their mission if the poor cannot afford the items. Tons of items that don’t sell go to the outlet stores where they are sold for next to nothing. Unfortunately, the outlets aren’t as common. What doesn’t sell goes to landfills so why not sell at prices everyone can afford?
Divide the stores into 3 groups and shop normal. Even 6 stores in one day is a fantastic spree for us to see plus we want to see everything. Then rate the stores 1 to6 and then shop all the 1’s one day etc. it will be like tours. I love shopping with you.
Enjoy watching each of your videos. Regarding hitting all GW in one day; why? How about you set up your chart and then systematically go to each store on the perfect day. Now that would be an interesting journey!
So funny, I was in the President’s club in Avon in 2003 and I recognized the green Ms Albee with the Snowman! It brought back happy memories of obtaining the “Avon Spirit Award”.
Truly truly enjpy your hard hard work and showing us a shop trip with education and cheer...love to you Dani...yes...it would be fun but not necessary...take it easy our Dani..I love the glass fish..bought myself one at Ross years ago..not as nice as this one,,has a bubble or two in it..turquoise colors..just love it anyway..I think it was worth the 5 bucks i paid...kind of a just pre-Hawaii time share whole family trip for a lifetime memory...knowing it was 20 bucks cheaper at least than there...xo.
The box with the red velvet is a bar game called shut box. You roll the dice and flip down the numbers that the roll added up to. You continue until you can’t roll anymore and count what you have left. Then another person tries to beat your number
I loved it all! Especially the map, and art work ❤! I'm so envious of all the Goodwills WOW! I THINK YOU CAN! I live in a very rural area and the closest one to me is 60 miles away. Lol! You keep shopping for me! Get Shop Done ❤❤❤
I like those white fairy lamps. I have a couple of them different shapes. But when lit they are beautiful. Some are painted inside that shows thru when lit
Glad to see you are being very picky on your items. So discouraging that you had to get rid of so much of your inventory, but hey, that's a good tax write off. Fun to have a clean start too.
The cost of things in the thrift stores have gotten so high I think they are pricing people who need lower priced things out of the market they were meant to serve.
I loved the butter dish. Do you have non organizational thrift stores down there? . Up here, it doesn't pay to go to goodwill. Small thrift stores are our salvation for thrifting.
Can u please add which location you are at for us locals that see something and want to go buy it?! It wouldn’t be a safety issue as you would be long gone before u post the video
At time stamp 24:54 you picked up a double tray with a handle in the middle. It was silver scalloped edges with flower design in the center. If you find that again, I'd love to see the price and possibly buy it. If you think it's a good idea.
The Avon misses Albie I just saw five of these at savers here on Long Island and were priced at 8.99 each (perfect condition). I sold Avon in High school and beyond ha and loved it!
I like the Jerry Garcia tie. I've been thinking about adding ties to my inventory and this one just had a unique design and color. They sure would be easy to store and ship!
To do what you are looking to do and do properly, would take 18 weeks. You would need to spend a week and an entire day at 1 Goodwill to find out their schedule for bringing out hard goods and to make a chart. You learn the weekly schedule for each store times 18 stores would take 18 weeks.
Hola Danni ~ i just love your shopping trips i feel like i'm the one shopping . i look at your items then all of the other stuff around them i have bought a lot of stuff in my head lol ...sadly bills& house needs won't let me buy anything ( right now ) but when i move i'm gonna buy truckloads of your items ~ God Bless ~ Chica
Goodwill has gotten crazy on the pricing of their goods! Don't forget you need to factor in travel time going from store to store . That's a lot of stores to visit in 1 day.
I have noticed Goodwill in my area (Illinois) has been pricing more and more at retail prices, which is ridiculous because they get their merchandise for free. Annoying. You gotta know the prices of stuff to not get taken.
Next to the doggy treat jar at 25:32 it looked like a Portmeirion bowl. Would you have picked it up if it was a Portmeirion (sp?)? Curious minds want to know. 😊
I think The wooden red lined tray with flip numbers is a game called ‘Shut the box’. The dice goes in the lidded corner.
It can't be a calendar because there is no zero or months.
I have one with numbers on all 4sides. 4 people can play. It’s fun
It is shut the box without the dice.
That wooden vase is nice
I save your shopping videos to watch after I get the grandkids in bed and I can go in my room and watch them, uninterrupted!! And at the end when you smile and say make it fun and I’ll see you on the next one, that makes me smile back at you. Then I turn out the light and go to sleep 💤. Thanks 🙏
The cat is by B. Kliban, not B. Kilban. I remember that art from the 1970s........nostalgia! Thanks for another great video!

The box "calendar" is a game played with dice - elimating numbers by the throw. Often call "Shut the Box"ko
I used to play that at my aunt's house
Shortly after I watched this video I found a Bill Kliban flying cat mug in my local thrift store. Thanks to you, I knew what it was and snatched it up right away for a good price! 🙂

What is your store ???
Yes I would like to know too. I think resellers should invite others to drop their links in the comments!
My wedding crystal is Weatherly Lenox with platinum trim. It’s gorgeous

Maybe do half one day and the other half another day. Favorite item the pillowcase. Love cats. Another great shopping trip.
I love you all! Thanks for sharing! Stay well. Keep up the good work Danni.❤️😘💞💞💞💞💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️👶
Blue napkin rings in box..3 were matching but one had different pattern. There were 3others on bottom shelf after Autom figurine that may have matched. Maybe you could make it a Goodwill weekend marathon.
I noticed that too late!
I think you should take two days and thrift all 18 stores. Would love to see that! 😊
"A little optimistic with their pricing.."🤣🤣 I would say a little ridiculous.
@jachooz760 when you find modern items on Goodwill's shelves that are priced higher than they were at original retail, then yes, they're too high.
“Goodwill was founded in 1902 in Boston by Rev. Edgar J. Helms, a Methodist minister and early social innovator. Helms collected used household goods and clothing in wealthier areas of the city, then trained and hired those who were poor to mend and repair the used goods. @@CarolynPaschen absolutely!
@jachooz780 you are correct, they are in the business of turning a lot of used merchandise as quickly as possible though ;-)
Nice finds Dani thanks for sharing another great video 😃🇨🇦
Good job Danni, the tie was great, easy to ship, easy to list! Perfect!
I enjoyed the ride along! That jewelry tray is awesome, and I saw a cute jewelry box on the shelf under the big stencils. 💜
Hi Danni lovely video and picks ,so enjoyable ,you are wonderful 💙 💙 💙
Divide the stores into 3 groups and shop normal. Even 6 stores in one day is a fantastic spree for us to see plus we want to see everything. Then rate the stores 1 to6 and then shop all the 1’s one day etc. it will be like tours. I love shopping with you.

Yes…….it would be funnnnn!! To go to 18 of them!! 🤓🙂☮️💜
Loved the poppy picture and the butter dish!!❤ And the footed dish is beautiful!!
So funny, I was in the President’s club in Avon in 2003 and I recognized the green Ms Albee with the Snowman! It brought back happy memories of obtaining the “Avon Spirit Award”.
I would love to see you hit every Goodwill in a day. That would be fun.

So awesome to tage along with you Thrifting! The treasure hunt was tons of fun. Enjoying you out and about! Wow! 18 Good Wills in LasVegas!
The farm bookends need to take the tape off then turn one end and it would be in right position 😂
I like the silvercrest bell! So pretty!
🤍💜🤍
Love your videos. Feel like I've learned so much watching these.
The box with the red velvet is a bar game called shut box. You roll the dice and flip down the numbers that the roll added up to. You continue until you can’t roll anymore and count what you have left. Then another person tries to beat your number
10:14 Thanks for the shout-out, Danni! 🤗 I have new ones in my next couple videos, coming out soon! 🎉 😊
I remember buying the owl picture when i first married in 1974. Lol. I think it was a home interior piece
I loved it all! Especially the map, and art work ❤! I'm so envious of all the Goodwills WOW! I THINK YOU CAN! I live in a very rural area and the closest one to me is 60 miles away. Lol! You keep shopping for me! Get Shop Done ❤❤❤
I moved from Colorado to NY and miss all of my Goodwills!
Love ❤🧡 the owl art piece and will be checking out the mugs plus more in your store 🎉👍
And yes, I think you should try it! Would be fun!
Great find on the Jerry Garcia tie!!!
You are a walking library for me because of all the information you share with us. Thank you, Dani 🎉
Omg I was cracking up about the little fish market. Should I put it near the aquarium 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for your time and video. My fav was fish prints😊
Love your show and looking with you try too fit all the shops together sounds like a plan Linda in the UK.
I loved the puppy bookends. Kinda wish you had picked those up.
Great shopping trip, all your picks were nice, can't name a favorite. Wait untill you're more settled before you embark on that Goodwill adventure.
Hi Danni enjoyed your company and video so thank you. I really liked the butter dish how did your auctions go? Take care love Margaret UK 🇬🇧
They didn't :-(
Oh no that's not good news xx what will you do now
Update soon!
Yes do it! Think it would be an awesome video. Thrift hopping
That is a beautiful Fenton bell. I couldn’t pass it up either.
The cost of things in the thrift stores have gotten so high I think they are pricing people who need lower priced things out of the market they were meant to serve.
The blue sky item would have been holding the pineapple that was laying next to it on the shelf. I think.
I do sometimes but have to be careful due to a stalker situation and them figuring out any pattern I may have
I have learned so much from you over the years. Love your videos. ❤. JoAnn
What kind of vases will Rachel use for her white flours? Also, when you give away/donate, can you write it off as a business loss?
Yes donations are a write off
I love shopping with you sometimes you skim over things that remind me of my grandma's stuff
At time stamp 24:54 you picked up a double tray with a handle in the middle. It was silver scalloped edges with flower design in the center. If you find that again, I'd love to see the price and possibly buy it. If you think it's a good idea.
Enjoyed watching your video. I love the owl picture.
Kliban cats! I still have the original set of queen sheets and cases from the 70's! Love that silver overlay of the CA poppies!
The owl and fish pictures were my favourites. and the snail tie!
The bookends needed to be turned so the black and white side that was showing, actually face each other.
Right, then the animals would be facing the same way. Right ?
Another enjoyable video. I love the owl picture.
I was shouting at the screen!
The Avon misses Albie I just saw five of these at savers here on Long Island and were priced at 8.99 each (perfect condition). I sold Avon in High school and beyond ha and loved it!
Hey dani! I just love your thrifting adventures! I watch every video i can! Have a great weekend! Oh btw it’s snowing tonight in wv….🥶
You could do a map of 10 closest goodwills and try that first! Then if if works well you can go bigger or stick to 10
I like the Jerry Garcia tie. I've been thinking about adding ties to my inventory and this one just had a unique design and color. They sure would be easy to store and ship!
Great video and haul! All Las Vegas Goodwills in one day!? That would be fantastic and fun! Even if one or two remain for the next day...
My favorite item was the cat pillowcase. I really enjoy your videos!! Stay safe. Hugs ❤😊
Loved the 3 angel candle holder ❤️
I’m learning everyday watching people like you. I don’t plan on reselling but it’s nice to know when thrifting for myself.
The one you were looking at comp 40.00.
Hi Danni, I really loved the Bavarian butter dish. Love your videos. Is someone new doing the pricing there, wow 😅

Omg those pizza plates!! I have 4 and have been searching for the remainder lol ugh
You find so many beautiful things
I’d have been drawn to the poppies pic too
My favorite part of the video is the recap at the end. I would love to see each item posted a couple of seconds longer.
I would love to find a huge jewelry tray like yours.
This fairy lamps are beautiful and there were three🥰
How about a Goodwill weekend extravaganza?
Love to see you hit all 18 of them. Fun!
I sold AVON at least 4 times in my lifetime, I also sold Sarah Coventry, as well as Tupperware, Danni.
Hi Danni❤❤❤❤another great video
The fish market by the aquarium would be so humorous 😂
I agree! Lol
My first thought was the fish tanks too!
The GB brand purse is sold in Macy's. It is always nice leather.
Don't do it-enjoy your shopping as you are doing now. Enjoy your videos!
Lol...I think it would be fun to see all 18 stores in one week. Trying to do them in one day the footage would be a blur! ❤❤❤😊
Love the jewelry tray🥰
The farm bookends needed to be turned. For the price, they were a good find.
Natural raw wood vase.👏
I'm thinking that to do all the stores in one day.... Is it worth the price of gas??
Those candlesticks are more or less decoupage but with fabric instead of paper
I like your price comments, Noah!
That board with the # s is a game
Goodwill has gotten crazy on the pricing of their goods! Don't forget you need to factor in travel time going from store to store . That's a lot of stores to visit in 1 day.
The 3 angel piece would be cool for one of your rock or crystal spheres
I have noticed Goodwill in my area (Illinois) has been pricing more and more at retail prices, which is ridiculous because they get their merchandise for free. Annoying. You gotta know the prices of stuff to not get taken.

Probably not right now, just trying to simplify my inventory
