Love the green colour. When I was young during the 80s I often loved the different colours of Jam. Green jam for kiwi, sometimes mixed with green apple. This was very rare. Had it only once at a friend's, but it was really nice. Yellow for pineapple (really loved the flavour of this with buttered toast) Red for strawberry. This was the standard and most common. Pink for raspberry. Orange for orange jam. This was the only type of jam I hated. Didn't like the taste that much. Especially with the bitter peels.

Just made this and tried with golden kiwis (I also swapped sugar for splenda) and it's delicious! I can't wait to try it once it's cooled and chilled.

Don't be. It's a traditional process of sterilisation. If you choose the right type of jar (one that twists), you could boil the jam filled jar.

Great recipe...but by wiping out the jar with a paper towel, you just unsterilized a sterile jar, lol. But to each their own! 😆

After this process the jar gets hot as normally. If you fill the jam in the hot jar, it get vacuumed after tightly closing the lid of the jar.
