I would say Victor may have the mind of a child but he made sure he tested them dang trees out by throwing a rock in the hole first before he got in there. Dale was a fool!
Victor believed this tree sent you to the Lighthouse, unlike the others. this was obviously before Tabitha started removing bottles messing with the trees function. Even the crazy guy said although this looks like chaos there is probably a pattern we don't understand. I reckon they screwed with the Msdos system and messed up the coordinates of destination.
When Victor said sometimes they can send you inside of a mountain or wall....this isn't what I expected. If you're not tapped in with the Boy in White those trees are going to F you over. 😂
I think he was teleported into the wall of the pool to send a message....or at least the writers did. Better we know his fate than just another question posed of what happened to him, We don't need another loose end added to this IMO.

I was thinking the same thing. There’s little hints like that throughout the whole show. Like when the mention the monsters are screaming again, or how the boy and girl that died have the same name as the kid Boyd couldn’t save in the real world. It’s shit like that that are the real hints I think

The cellphones have disappeared. We haven't seen one cellphone or laptop on a person who stepped on Fromland ground, except for Kelly's cellphone. That's because Kelly never stepped foot in the diner. People who don't step foot in the diner keep their cellphones. Fo example, just like you said, there should be dozens of cellphones, laptops, fits bits, apple watches, iPads, tablets etc in Fromland, even if Fromland doesn't have internet coverage. All of these "useless" devices should be stored in the diner's kitchen area that's being used as a storage room - the kitchen area is being used for storage because we have never seen any food being cooked (or just food being stored) in the diner's kitchen area, but that's another issue... But, we don't see one cellphone or one laptop. Interesting...! Also, let's take a closer look at the people who came in the bus. As soon as they stepped out of the bus, no one is holding their phone. No one attempts to take photos when Kenny and Donna start firing their guns. No one attempts to go live using their device. Then, when they go inside the diner for tea and soup, no one is holding their phone. There are no phones on the counters or tables. No one is frustratingly trying to get service on their phone. No one is looking at photos on their phone. No one is playing a game on their phone, nervously trying to pass the time. Where did the phones and laptops go? None of the women had purses, I don't think. So, they didn't put their phones in their purse. Then, when Smiley the Monster went on the bus and walked down the aisle, there was not one phone left on the bus that we could see. Even Jade who ran a wildly successful tech company doesn't ask where all the cellphones and laptops are. Fromland has disappeared all their electronic devices. Also, ask yourself this, "Why did they build a radio tower, instead of a cellphone tower?"

The motel poses a unique problem. How many talismans does a motel need? Does 1 talisman work for the whole motel building; or, does 1 talisman work for the lobby only? In other words, does each motel room need its own talisman, plus one talisman for the lobby? Then you have the situation with the Bibles. In a large percentage of American motels, you'll find a Bible in each hotel room. Even though Fromland has a church, Fromland didn't have one Bible until Tilly showed up to Tian Chen's funeral with a Bible. Where did that Bible appear from? If you had a motel, and if that motel is like a typical, average motel, you'll need a Bible in every motel room.
As I stated below another video: the entity might thrive on the Fromville denizens' ignorance in a reversal/mockery of Adam and Eve eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It constantly blurs and confuses their sense of reality, sense of self and sense of morality in that it has them question where they are, whether the forest is populated by their fears/nightmares, whether it's worth trying to get back home, whether to trust one another. Fatima, according to Muslim lore, is the daughter of the Prophet and supposed to be barren - so, in a reversal, she's the vessel of a demon baby. Boyd is likened to Jesus, yet rather than perform miracles (like coming across the goat and the talismans initially) he's surrounded by Doubting Thomases and seemingly gets people killed in present day. Whenever the status quo of lacking knowledge and uncertainly is being challenged, the entity moves the goalpost: infecting Boyd with the worms, toying with Tabitha, potentially driving Jade insane, keeping Elgin (and his clairvoyance?) at bay, "bringing down the house" around the Matthews (once they were digging for answers/a means of communication). Is the fear the nocturnal monsters and the cicadas are spreading but a reflection of the entity's own existential dread of being fully grasped and thereby stripped of its powers and its reach?
I don’t think Fatima is pregnant at all. The writers made sure she stated several times that she was told that she cannot have children. I believe she is turning into a monster that’s why she is craving decaying food and now blood.
I think its gonna be something fucked up like they can hear a heartbeat....get all excited....and then they just can't find a baby....like there's nothing there, just to fuck with them. So they won't know for sure she's pregnant. I dunno, just a theory

I think Sara, Victor, Tabitha & Jade should work together to reach lighthouse. Because even Sara is well aware of the presence of lighthouse and boy in white
I agree. These 4 seem to be the only ones who truly understand the complexities of this place. Boyd to a certain degree also understands, but he's playing defense, not actually making any progress to figure out the mystery of the place.
They didn’t follow their patterns because the crows already alerted them to Tabitha’s return in the ambulance….before sunset. Don’t think the monsters thought of that trap beforehand.
I'm wondering if Henry was brought in to distract Victor from seeking answers. Victor told Sarah that they'd look for Jasper later, once he found out his dad was there, and they were on their way to the tunnel, to find Jasper, so...? Hopefully, Ellis and Fatima will find out about Dale, before they run off to the bottle tree.
From is clearly the best suspenseful, supernatural, thinking horror show ever created. The show is very similar to Lost in regards to the suspense thrills aspect. With all this said, let's talk about the latest ep. I didn't like Dale ending up inside a brick wall. Why? Bc based on his selfish me me attitude, I easily predicted this would be his end result. We haven't seen anyone get sent into a wall yet. But everyone remembers Victor's words stating, "sometimes it sends you into walls/mountains." I think if people make choices out of self interest first, then the effect will be negative. If Dale thought of saving everyone else first, and knowingly chose to jump in the tree to save everyone if it meant sacrificing himself in the process, then the results would be different. One thing I don't like is, the only person focused on a way out is Jade. Meaning, he is the only one investigating amd researching trying to get answers before attempting to leave. Meaning, he is not just being selfish like Dale, he's doing it for EVERYONE to get home, not just himself. During the town meeting, the end result should have been everyone agreeing to work together in figuring out how to get home. Not bitching, whining, and acting dumb like they did. The reason hell is breaking loose now in different aspects is bc the evil entity feeds off people's biggest fears as well as their strongest hope. Meaning, he wants ppl hopeful but he doesn't want them happy/comfortable without their biggest fear also present. Think about Randall. His biggest fear is full abandonment from those he comes to trust. Boyd choosing to leave him really hurt and messed him up. We'll likely see why when his backstory is shared. So the evil entity fed well with Randall. His biggest fear was let out in full force. But i doubt that will cause him to lose all hope. It's like the entity doesn't want everyone to give in and lose all hope, there's nothing good that can come out of that feeling. There must be a balance of hope and fear. We'll learn more, but I think that's how the evil entity works. As for the good entity, sounds to me he is almost powerless in Fromville. He can help the chosen, those who are pure of heart and selfish desire only. But that help is limited. Just to keep the ppl hopeful if they start to lose themselves. But once again only those chosen. This show is simply anazing and makes you use your brain at the same time, lol.
I think you’ve made the first good analysis I’ve seen on this show. It does seem like the town consciously caters the events to give and crush the hope of specific people, which is a greater form of punishment than just outright scaring them.
Victor said his mother said this tree was special and that it would send HER to the lighthouse/to the children. I believe the trees are different but most importantly they send the traveler to a place that connects with their soul or what their intentions are. Dale was full of selfishness as he wanted to show everyone he was going to be the hero and that HE would show them. Tabitha wanted to save the children as did Miranda. Idk, just a theory
Victor's lunch box had the numbers to his home address. You may need a number attached to someplace, for the tree to send you there. The numbers in the bottle are for different places too.

Are they real? Then, a hint of what they need to do so they don't all get killed. Just answers, little by little instead of getting a ton more questions at the end of an episode with no answers at all.
I would have grayed his skin to indicate that he was indeed mixed in with the wall. The way it was, for a sec I almost thought that they might be able to chip him out of there. Overall it's a pretty easy effect. They did it just about as well in the '70s in the original "pocket universe" show "Land of the Lost"!

Victor's Dad commenting about the motel missing seemed a clear hint for a future plot line. I wonder where that will go? Can only see the motel with the glasses Elgin put on? Will it just appear one night like it was always there?
As someone else pointed it out, the bottle numbers probably represent room numbers. I think that fromville IS the motel itself. they are already in the motel. And each location has a designated room number. Maybe the tree acts like the elevator of the motel and you can control to which "room" you travel to using the bottles

The numbers in the bottles.. are co-ordinates imo! 4 numbers, latitude and longitude. The etched numbers in the lighthouse, most possibly locations of the far away tree they took to get there. possibly finding out that all far away trees are random on a rotation of some sort.
I don't think Victor has any control over where the faraway trees send anything. He said himself that nobody knows where the trees will send you. He said they were temperamental.
I'm starting to think the trees are not the only thing that move. I think Dale was suppose to end up inside of the pool.. but the houses etc. move like the trees 🌳 nobody really notices because it's only moving by inches
Possible spoiler alert, this is just my theory......"Aawkouee" sounds like an anagram for You awake. And I think they have to put the children to rest that we're used during an evil ritual years ago that created the world that only can be accessed via concussion in this area. I think the children are fueling this place with their very souls hence needing saving. But it's stuck on a cycle destined to repeat forever unless they're saved on time and anyone trapped there during the end of this cycle become the very monsters that plague the place. I think...and bare with me, that everything there is a collective of everyone's worst fears and that's what is manifests there. Whether monsters or horrific deaths. It's all a mirror of the real world hence why when Victor and his family showed up, there's always items that don't exist unless they're connected to people in the real world even if they haven't yet arrived. It's foreshadowing and foresight because the symbol is a seal that needs broken to release the children bound to that place and to the spell that opened the portal to that place. I'll wager it was meant to be a heaven of some sort or bridge to a world of peace but required children sacrifice and the children's souls corrupted it since it's evil to do so. And maaaaybe the place was created FOR the little boy in white, hence why he's the only "good " there. And Over time ge got lonely n realized the children's souls trapped there need help and released. He's ancient (the little boy). I'm guessing but this is js my theory. It's an imaginary world created for the boy in white at the expense of those trapped children in the lighthouse do instead of being paradise as intended, all those who come, their deepest fears manifest and they die by it there. But the only way back yo the real world is to die there. Hence why the sherrifs wife started marking everyone. She wasn't crazy. You have to die to wake up from the coma that got you trapped there in the first place. But the area only covers that city where the rituals of the children took place. And that's the only city a concussion and coma can send you and anyone physically with you there. I've thought this thru but I haven't worked out everything lol
In the hospital when Tabitha was sent to the real world, her room number was 2225. Sounds like one of the numbers in the bottle by the bottle tree, doesn't it? Could they be somehow trapped in some rooms, probably in a coma? Or maybe a strange room?
My idea is that the pieces of paper with the 4-digit numbers are coordinates. Since, Jade and Tabitha took out a few pieces of paper from the bottles, this caused the teleportation location/destination to change. With the specific numbers inside of the bottles (as they were), the destination would always be the lighthouse.
No, I think it is much simpler than that. The motivation and the calling of the person to the tree is what makes them find their destination. It was made clear that Tabitha and Victor's mom were given the same mission (save the children) and most likely made it to the tower through the tree because of that. Dale was just a douche who went in there for selfish reasons and I think the tree knew that.

Victor rode on the Rock that he put in the tree to show Ethan how it worked. I believe that you need to have some kind of form of address written on whatever's going through so that it can actually give it a direction.
The monsters didn't attack Tabitha and Henry because it gave Boyd the ultimatum. If Boyd chose Randall, they would have definitely killed Tabitha, Henry, and Jim

I loved this episode. Boyd was not playing around. He had every reason to go off on Ellis like he did and the town. That speech at the end was spot on 🔥🔥. One of those “F” around and find out scenarios. 😂😂 I laughed the whole time at Dale being stuck in the pool wall. I immediately thought back to what Dale said about Jade and Tabitha sitting around with their thumb up their butts. I laughed well Dale who has it now 😂😂. Far as Randall he obviously has abandonment issues. But Boyd definitely made the right choice . It goes to the saying that SPOCK made in Star Trek; “The lives of the many outweighs the lives of the few.. or the 1”!
I think with the trees its about belief,when the boy in white directed Sara to the tree and said that her and Boyd would be safe she believed him and ended up in the church i don't think Boyd did hence where he ended up.Also similar with Tabitha she believed Victor when he said she would end up in the lighthouse and she did.
I think the tree does send them to the tower if you are the chosen one... like Miranda and Tabitha, cause if it send everybody to the tower then there is purpose of the show... I think Tabitha served his purpose by bringing Henry to the Fromland
She didn't bring Henry. The entity (or whatever it is) simply zapped the ambulance into their purgatory. They could have done that at any time with Henry. Saying that they needed Tabitha to be in a vehicle with him so they could do that makes no sense. Nobody brought any of the others there, they all just happened to get there.
The variable for that particular tree is the bottles, or more accurately the sheets of paper with the four digit numbers control the Bottle Tree. Dale’s journey was changed because Tabitha and Jade removed a few bottles and took out the sheets of paper. We’ve seen two different bottle trees in Fromville as well as the one in Henry’s back yard. Allegedly there was another one nearby Camden, Maine.
We cant forget that they started to mess with the tree before he went in. What makes the tree unique from the other far away tree is the bottles. Maybe these bottles are the reason the tree was always sending everyone to the same place every time. Once they started to mess with the tree and removed a bottle, the tree didn't send them to the same spot. That is the one unique difference between everyone who has gone to the tree. Everyone we know who goes through that tree supposedly goes to lighthouse. Now they decide to change the tree and all of the sudden it sends you somewhere else.
Yeah, but he (the entities) would have to assume A LOT on Tabitha's part for that to even happen. Seems too easy an explanation when there were so many factors in play that could have stopped that from happening. If they wanted Victor's dad there, there is no reason why they couldn't have simply zapped him into that world like they did everyone else by having him drive there. I don't think they needed Tabitha to get him when they did it randomly with everyone else.
It actually makes sense after the town meeting, tabitha was the only one so far to escape the "forest" to escape the hell they were trapped in. She basically came back with "hope" , but ultimately the town realized that that hope wasn't backed up by anything cause she didn't have any answers, she only came back with other victims to the entity, so that hope would crumble and the despair and the giving up mentality would increase in the town, the entity probably did this for two reasons, 1. to distract victor from recalling his memories by bringing his dad, 2. the main reason was because it feeds off of the towns despair and hopelessness.
Maybe the number they took from the bottle on the tree messed with the teleportation system of the tree and therefore ended up teleporting Dale to some random location instead...in the pool wall. 🤷🏾

I think there's a bad entity and a good entity. The good entity, I believe, is the boy in white. He sent Boyd to Martin, yes. But I think he did that, to show him more pieces of the puzzle - like how to kill a monster at night (by using the worm virus) I think he sent Tabatha out of the world, because she had the address to Victors home and she needed to bring Victors dad to Fromville for a reason we don't know yet. He also helped kept Victor alive all these years which I think is important because I think Victor (or his family bloodline possibly tying to his mom) is the key to all of this. And it had to be Tabatha at that point because she had Victors lunchbox with the address and that's why he didn't help Dale when he went in to the bottle tree, because it wouldn't have done any good. Just a theory, but I think the boy in white is good.
Nobody is gonna talk about the numbers in the bottles on the tree? Tabatha and the other dude took them down from the tree, this changed it. To me it was obvious the tree wasn't going to send anything back to the lighthouse because it was changed. So my guess is those numbers might be like some sort of coordinates to go where you want to go.

When Tabatha met Henry(Victors dad ) I noticed he said that its a town which you can't find if you're looking for it which is the reason that Tabatha went to the lighthouse since she didn't want to leave but rather save the children which she failed to do as well. And also thats the reason why Dale was Teleported to the wall since he wanted freedom. And now he can't be free. Now that Also means that they can't get out if they're looking for a way to get out.
The numbers are room numbers of the motel and they are in the motel. Formville is the motel and the tree is like the elevator of the motel, taking you to different "rooms". They just need to figure out how the elevator works to use it properly

what if the bottle tree is special and takes you always to the lighthouse, BECAUSE of the bottles? They contained papers with numbers, maybe the correct amount of bottles with the correct number in the correct position, makes it bring you to the correct location. But since Tabitha went through it, the composition of bottles have changed because Jade was able to bring some of them down to read the content.

So then theres either good vs evil in there where the good tries to take the ppl away and the evil tries to keep them there. Or its like the matrix where it's all the same thing like the architect vs the Oracle seem like their opposing opposites but they're both just fulfilling their programming because they're both machines...

Cell phones and such can't be recharged in Fromville. Remember, the electrical outlets are a single prong with a weird size. Jim pointed it out in season one

Quite curious about the end game of the entity. If they feed from fear, at one point a person would either die from desperation by ending their own life or became callous as they have nothing left to care anymore. Perhaps this is when they "reset" and bring in new batch of people. Anyway, I expect somehow the people here will avoid the reset situation and manage to figure out all the quirks of fromville and manage to get out in the end... Or the writer cops out and killed everyone with a closing scene of new batch of people coming in to the town... Pretty sure they won't do that.
It was special as it always took hr to the towr(meaning it was significant to her) and meaning each tree will take you to a specific location and its unique for evry person
Think about it, when they were in the ambulance and there was the tree, if i got out i would not get in any mode of transportation lol, I would walk everywhere, But i think it's mainly Highway, if the entity is the entire town or there is a mole in their group, they should start writing down their plan and not speaking it out loud..The entity brought tabitha back because she went and got victors dad, which is why she just so happened to be in the same town as victors dad, I don't think the town can break victor, why is it everyone else were killed but victor.
Victor said the bottle tree always sends his mom to the lighthouse. Not everyone. That line is carefully worded where Victor said specifically, "would always send her to the lighthouse" instead of something like "will always send YOU to the lighthouse" and I think Tabitha basically has the same connection with that place as Victor's mom did

The tree took Dale where he said he wanted to go. Dale said he wanted to go home and get help for the others. The tree took him home (Fromland) and gave him help (Boyd) for the others. In my opinion, they are from From.
@@Sonicbitter100 I think that they don't know that they are originally from From. In my opinion Dale didn't make it out of Fromland because he said he wanted to go home - well, he's already home. He said he wanted to get help - well, they have help, Boyd. Even Victor said From is his home. Most people think he meant that figuratively. But, I think he meant it figuratively and literally. But, that's what is good about the show. We all are free to have opinions and theories without denying someone else to right to have an opinion or theory. Even the writers don't know the final outcome - Victor was not supposed to be a main character, and he was only supposed to be in a few episodes. Now, he's one of the show's biggest stars.
I think the boy in white can manipulate (at least to some point) where the people will come out when they enter the farway trees. f.e when he "saved" Boyd by telling him to go into the tree or when Tabitha went to the lighthouse. Also Im not saying the boy in white killed Dale maybe when he is not there the tree takes you to random places
Anyone else see all the clear similarities this show has to Lost? I say this as someone who never missed an episode and hadn’t seen a show quite like it until From came along.

Like, it seems even MORE random than Lost, like they’re making shit up as they go along. Either way, I don’t care. I’m enjoying the ride while it lasts and I’m keeping my expectations low.
BIW has directed Sara, Boyd, Tabitha, Victor, Julie, and Ethan. Hes obviously the key to the trees and if he doesnt tell you go thru one, you dont go through it.
Either Miranda was wrong (which I doubt) and the bottle tree doesn’t lead to the lighthouse, or it only transports specific people, like mothers chosen to save children. Besides, regarding that general meeting, everything they said there was nonsense, but at least they should have thought for a moment about the fact that Tabitha escaped Fromville… but after a few days, she returned. So leaving the place isn't enough to free yourself from it if the place isn’t done with you yet. Going back to the bottle tree, there’s also a third option: opening a bottle with a specific number. After all, in that episode, it was clearly stated what number Tabitha "drew" from the bottle, and it happened right before tree was used. Maybe these are some kind of coordinates for where you’ll end up, but I don’t know how to connect that with the fact that mothers always end up at the lighthouse.
I would disagree that the boy in white was the sole reasoning for her going to the lighthouse. I think it’d had to do with their role in the loop going on, Tabitha being the next chosen one to free the children would be the reasoning on why she transported to the same place Viktors mom did who was the previous “savior”. Seems like everyone has their own tree they are destined to go through
To add to my theory, I think that’s why the rock Viktor dropped in just pops up in the same spot. Since the rock has no role they are sent to the same place. I’m thinking a phone would do the same thing
I think Victor is correct about that bottle tree going to the lighthouse but it only working like that for chosen people like his mom Miranda or Tabitha.
In an interview showrunner says if fans stay with the show they have a great story mapped out. Hopefully they're not making up stuff as they go. So far it's a great mystery box.
This is my concern. Are we in for another 'Lost'? These are the same creators and we see the obvious parallels with that show that ended up meandering with no answers and introduced more and more confusing timelines and ridiculous sub-plots that went nowhere as the seasons went on. I hope this is going to be different.

Victor didn’t necessarily control where the rock was going to go when he dropped it in the tree. He specifically says when asked what will happen that “maybe something, maybe nothing” will happen and looks around after dropping the rock to see if he can figure out where it might have dropped before it fell from the sky.

I think Victor may not know that it’s not only the bottle tree that sends you to the lighthouse. One must also hold the contents of (1) of the bottles. Each note acts like a ticket, showing the intended destination of the “traveler”.
Just a thought...... Once any of the bottles, notes in the bottles etc are removed or manipulated, it will effect the destination where the tree will take you....
The entity did not appreciate that Tabitha was trying to learn where the electricity came from, and in fact destroyed the entire house over it. So, yeah, people could write things down and they should; but that does not mean the notes would survive. The notes in Tabitha's old house are never going to be seen again. The entity made sure that the house is just junk now.

The cellphones have disappeared. We haven't seen one cellphone or laptop on a person who stepped on Fromland ground, except for Kelly's cellphone. That's because Kelly never stepped foot in the diner. People who don't step foot in the diner keep their cellphones.
Fo example, just like you said, there should be dozens of cellphones, laptops, fits bits, apple watches, iPads, tablets etc in Fromland, even if Fromland doesn't have internet coverage. All of these "useless" devices should be stored in the diner's kitchen area that's being used as a storage room - the kitchen area is being used for storage because we have never seen any food being cooked (or just food being stored) in the diner's kitchen area, but that's another issue...
But, we don't see one cellphone or one laptop. Interesting...! Also, let's take a closer look at the people who came in the bus. As soon as they stepped out of the bus, no one is holding their phone. No one attempts to take photos when Kenny and Donna start firing their guns. No one attempts to go live using their device. Then, when they go inside the diner for tea and soup, no one is holding their phone. There are no phones on the counters or tables. No one is frustratingly trying to get service on their phone. No one is looking at photos on their phone. No one is playing a game on their phone, nervously trying to pass the time. Where did the phones and laptops go? None of the women had purses, I don't think. So, they didn't put their phones in their purse.
Then, when Smiley the Monster went on the bus and walked down the aisle, there was not one phone left on the bus that we could see.
Even Jade who ran a wildly successful tech company doesn't ask where all the cellphones and laptops are.

The motel poses a unique problem. How many talismans does a motel need? Does 1 talisman work for the whole motel building; or, does 1 talisman work for the lobby only? In other words, does each motel room need its own talisman, plus one talisman for the lobby?
Then you have the situation with the Bibles. In a large percentage of American motels, you'll find a Bible in each hotel room. Even though Fromland has a church, Fromland didn't have one Bible until Tilly showed up to Tian Chen's funeral with a Bible. Where did that Bible appear from? If you had a motel, and if that motel is like a typical, average motel, you'll need a Bible in every motel room.

As I stated below another video: the entity might thrive on the Fromville denizens' ignorance in a reversal/mockery of Adam and Eve eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It constantly blurs and confuses their sense of reality, sense of self and sense of morality in that it has them question where they are, whether the forest is populated by their fears/nightmares, whether it's worth trying to get back home, whether to trust one another.
Fatima, according to Muslim lore, is the daughter of the Prophet and supposed to be barren - so, in a reversal, she's the vessel of a demon baby. Boyd is likened to Jesus, yet rather than perform miracles (like coming across the goat and the talismans initially) he's surrounded by Doubting Thomases and seemingly gets people killed in present day.
Whenever the status quo of lacking knowledge and uncertainly is being challenged, the entity moves the goalpost: infecting Boyd with the worms, toying with Tabitha, potentially driving Jade insane, keeping Elgin (and his clairvoyance?) at bay, "bringing down the house" around the Matthews (once they were digging for answers/a means of communication).
Is the fear the nocturnal monsters and the cicadas are spreading but a reflection of the entity's own existential dread of being fully grasped and thereby stripped of its powers and its reach?

I agree. These 4 seem to be the only ones who truly understand the complexities of this place. Boyd to a certain degree also understands, but he's playing defense, not actually making any progress to figure out the mystery of the place.

I'm wondering if Henry was brought in to distract Victor from seeking answers. Victor told Sarah that they'd look for Jasper later, once he found out his dad was there, and they were on their way to the tunnel, to find Jasper, so...? Hopefully, Ellis and Fatima will find out about Dale, before they run off to the bottle tree.

From is clearly the best suspenseful, supernatural, thinking horror show ever created.
The show is very similar to Lost in regards to the suspense thrills aspect.
With all this said, let's talk about the latest ep.
I didn't like Dale ending up inside a brick wall. Why? Bc based on his selfish me me attitude, I easily predicted this would be his end result. We haven't seen anyone get sent into a wall yet. But everyone remembers Victor's words stating, "sometimes it sends you into walls/mountains."
I think if people make choices out of self interest first, then the effect will be negative.
If Dale thought of saving everyone else first, and knowingly chose to jump in the tree to save everyone if it meant sacrificing himself in the process, then the results would be different.
One thing I don't like is, the only person focused on a way out is Jade. Meaning, he is the only one investigating amd researching trying to get answers before attempting to leave. Meaning, he is not just being selfish like Dale, he's doing it for EVERYONE to get home, not just himself.
During the town meeting, the end result should have been everyone agreeing to work together in figuring out how to get home. Not bitching, whining, and acting dumb like they did.
The reason hell is breaking loose now in different aspects is bc the evil entity feeds off people's biggest fears as well as their strongest hope.
Meaning, he wants ppl hopeful but he doesn't want them happy/comfortable without their biggest fear also present.
Think about Randall. His biggest fear is full abandonment from those he comes to trust. Boyd choosing to leave him really hurt and messed him up.
We'll likely see why when his backstory is shared.
So the evil entity fed well with Randall. His biggest fear was let out in full force. But i doubt that will cause him to lose all hope.
It's like the entity doesn't want everyone to give in and lose all hope, there's nothing good that can come out of that feeling.
There must be a balance of hope and fear.
We'll learn more, but I think that's how the evil entity works.
As for the good entity, sounds to me he is almost powerless in Fromville. He can help the chosen, those who are pure of heart and selfish desire only. But that help is limited. Just to keep the ppl hopeful if they start to lose themselves. But once again only those chosen.

It does seem like the town consciously caters the events to give and crush the hope of specific people, which is a greater form of punishment than just outright scaring them.
Victor said his mother said this tree was special and that it would send HER to the lighthouse/to the children. I believe the trees are different but most importantly they send the traveler to a place that connects with their soul or what their intentions are. Dale was full of selfishness as he wanted to show everyone he was going to be the hero and that HE would show them. Tabitha wanted to save the children as did Miranda. Idk, just a theory

Victor's lunch box had the numbers to his home address. You may need a number attached to someplace, for the tree to send you there. The numbers in the bottle are for different places too.
Tabitha wasn't sent to the real world immediately. She was sent to the lighthouse. People seem to be forgetting that.

Are they real? Then, a hint of what they need to do so they don't all get killed. I would have grayed his skin to indicate that he was indeed mixed in with the wall. The way it was, for a sec I almost thought that they might be able to chip him out of there. Overall it's a pretty easy effect. They did it just about as well in the '70s in the original "pocket universe" show "Land of the Lost"!

As someone else pointed it out, the bottle numbers probably represent room numbers. I think that fromville IS the motel itself. they are already in the motel. And each location has a designated room number. Maybe the tree acts like the elevator of the motel and you can control to which "room" you travel to using the bottles

The numbers in the bottles.. are co-ordinates imo! 4 numbers, latitude and longitude. The etched numbers in the lighthouse, most possibly locations of the far away tree they took to get there. possibly finding out that all far away trees are random on a rotation of some sort.
I don't think Victor has any control over where the faraway trees send anything. He said himself that nobody knows where the trees will send you. He said they were temperamental.

Possible spoiler alert, this is just my theory......"Aawkouee" sounds like an anagram for You awake. And I think they have to put the children to rest that we're used during an evil ritual years ago that created the world that only can be accessed via concussion in this area. I think the children are fueling this place with their very souls hence needing saving. But it's stuck on a cycle destined to repeat forever unless they're saved on time and anyone trapped there during the end of this cycle become the very monsters that plague the place. I think...and bare with me, that everything there is a collective of everyone's worst fears and that's what is manifests there. Whether monsters or horrific deaths. It's all a mirror of the real world hence why when Victor and his family showed up, there's always items that don't exist unless they're connected to people in the real world even if they haven't yet arrived. It's foreshadowing and foresight because the symbol is a seal that needs broken to release the children bound to that place and to the spell that opened the portal to that place. I'll wager it was meant to be a heaven of some sort or bridge to a world of peace but required children sacrifice and the children's souls corrupted it since it's evil to do so. And maaaaybe the place was created FOR the little boy in white, hence why he's the only "good " there. And Over time ge got lonely n realized the children's souls trapped there need help and released. He's ancient (the little boy). I'm guessing but this is js my theory. It's an imaginary world created for the boy in white at the expense of those trapped children in the lighthouse do instead of being paradise as intended, all those who come, their deepest fears manifest and they die by it there. But the only way back yo the real world is to die there. Hence why the sherrifs wife started marking everyone. She wasn't crazy. You have to die to wake up from the coma that got you trapped there in the first place. But the area only covers that city where the rituals of the children took place. And that's the only city a concussion and coma can send you and anyone physically with you there. I've thought this thru but I haven't worked out everything lol

Since, Jade and Tabitha took out a few pieces of paper from the bottles, this caused the teleportation location/destination to change.
With the specific numbers inside of the bottles (as they were), the destination would always be the lighthouse.
No, I think it is much simpler than that. The motivation and the calling of the person to the tree is what makes them find their destination. It was made clear that Tabitha and Victor's mom were given the same mission (save the children) and most likely made it to the tower through the tree because of that. Dale was just a douche who went in there for selfish reasons and I think the tree knew that.
I thought Jim removing the bottle and then taking out the notes made them not go to the lighthouse. Maybe those were coordinates or addresses

Victor rode on the Rock that he put in the tree to show Ethan how it worked. I believe that you need to have some kind of form of address written on whatever's going through so that it can actually give it a direction.
Victors words were not that it always sends you to the light house, just that tree was special and it would take "HIS" Mother to the light house.
Clearly demonstrates that the tree will take chosen individuals to the lighthouse.

I loved this episode. Boyd was not playing around. He had every reason to go off on Ellis like he did and the town. That speech at the end was spot on 🔥🔥. One of those “F” around and find out scenarios. 😂😂 I laughed the whole time at Dale being stuck in the pool wall. I immediately thought back to what Dale said about Jade and Tabitha sitting around with their thumb up their butts. I laughed well Dale who has it now 😂😂. Far as Randall he obviously has abandonment issues. But Boyd definitely made the right choice . It goes to the saying that SPOCK made in Star Trek; “The lives of the many outweighs the lives of the few.. or the 1”!
I think with the trees its about belief,when the boy in white directed Sara to the tree and said that her and Boyd would be safe she believed him and ended up in the church i don't think Boyd did hence where he ended up.Also similar with Tabitha she believed Victor when he said she would end up in the lighthouse and she did.
I think the tree does send them to the tower if you are the chosen one... like Miranda and Tabitha, cause if it send everybody to the tower then there is purpose of the show... I think Tabitha served his purpose by bringing Henry to the Fromland
She didn't bring Henry. The entity (or whatever it is) simply zapped the ambulance into their purgatory. They could have done that at any time with Henry. Saying that they needed Tabitha to be in a vehicle with him so they could do that makes no sense. Nobody brought any of the others there, they all just happened to get there.
The variable for that particular tree is the bottles, or more accurately the sheets of paper with the four digit numbers control the Bottle Tree. Dale’s journey was changed because Tabitha and Jade removed a few bottles and took out the sheets of paper. We’ve seen two different bottle trees in Fromville as well as the one in Henry’s back yard. Allegedly there was another one nearby Camden, Maine.
I wouldnt say conclusive. Taking certain bottles down might have changed the trees location.
We cant forget that they started to mess with the tree before he went in. What makes the tree unique from the other far away tree is the bottles. Maybe these bottles are the reason the tree was always sending everyone to the same place every time. Once they started to mess with the tree and removed a bottle, the tree didn't send them to the same spot. That is the one unique difference between everyone who has gone to the tree. Everyone we know who goes through that tree supposedly goes to lighthouse. Now they decide to change the tree and all of the sudden it sends you somewhere else.

The Boy in White is evil. It wanted to get Victor's dad. Letting Tabitha go was ALWAYS just about getting Victor's dad.
Yeah, but he (the entities) would have to assume A LOT on Tabitha's part for that to even happen. Seems too easy an explanation when there were so many factors in play that could have stopped that from happening. If they wanted Victor's dad there, there is no reason why they couldn't have simply zapped him into that world like they did everyone else by having him drive there. I don't think they needed Tabitha to get him when they did it randomly with everyone else.
It actually makes sense after the town meeting, tabitha was the only one so far to escape the "forest" to escape the hell they were trapped in. She basically came back with "hope" , but ultimately the town realized that that hope wasn't backed up by anything cause she didn't have any answers, she only came back with other victims to the entity, so that hope would crumble and the despair and the giving up mentality would increase in the town, the entity probably did this for two reasons, 1. to distract victor from recalling his memories by bringing his dad, 2. the main reason was because it feeds off of the towns despair and hopelessness.
Maybe the number they took from the bottle on the tree messed with the teleportation system of the tree and therefore ended up teleporting Dale to some random location instead...in the pool wall. 🤷🏾

I think there's a bad entity and a good entity.
The good entity, I believe, is the boy in white.
He sent Boyd to Martin, yes. But I think he did that, to show him more pieces of the puzzle - like how to kill a monster at night (by using the worm virus)
I think he sent Tabatha out of the world, because she had the address to Victors home and she needed to bring Victors dad to Fromville for a reason we don't know yet.
He also helped kept Victor alive all these years which I think is important because I think Victor (or his family bloodline possibly tying to his mom) is the key to all of this. And it had to be Tabatha at that point because she had Victors lunchbox with the address and that's why he didn't help Dale when he went in to the bottle tree, because it wouldn't have done any good.
Just a theory, but I think the boy in white is good.

Tabatha and the other dude took them down from the tree, this changed it. To me it was obvious the tree wasn't going to send anything back to the lighthouse because it was changed.
So my guess is those numbers might be like some sort of coordinates to go where you want to go.

Or may be not. Because Boyd also took a bottle down when he went out with Sarah. I watched every episode carefully. I noticed something that most of the people missed. When Tabatha met Henry(Victors dad ) I noticed he said that its a town which you can't find if you're looking for it which is the reason that Tabatha went to the lighthouse since she didn't want to leave but rather save the children which she failed to do as well. And also thats the reason why Dale was Teleported to the wall since he wanted freedom. And now he can't be free. Now that Also means that they can't get out if they're looking for a way to get out.
The numbers are room numbers of the motel and they are in the motel. Formville is the motel and the tree is like the elevator of the motel, taking you to different "rooms". They just need to figure out how the elevator works to use it properly

what if the bottle tree is special and takes you always to the lighthouse, BECAUSE of the bottles? They contained papers with numbers, maybe the correct amount of bottles with the correct number in the correct position, makes it bring you to the correct location. But since Tabitha went through it, the composition of bottles have changed because Jade was able to bring some of them down to read the content.

Quite curious about the end game of the entity. If they feed from fear, at one point a person would either die from desperation by ending their own life or became callous as they have nothing left to care anymore. Perhaps this is when they "reset" and bring in new batch of people. Anyway, I expect somehow the people here will avoid the reset situation and manage to figure out all the quirks of fromville and manage to get out in the end... Or the writer cops out and killed everyone with a closing scene of new batch of people coming in to the town... Pretty sure they won't do that.
It was special as it always took hr to the towr(meaning it was significant to her) and meaning each tree will take you to a specific location and its unique for evry person
Think about it, when they were in the ambulance and there was the tree, if i got out i would not get in any mode of transportation lol, I would walk everywhere, But i think it's mainly Highway, if the entity is the entire town or there is a mole in their group, they should start writing down their plan and not speaking it out loud..The entity brought tabitha back because she went and got victors dad, which is why she just so happened to be in the same town as victors dad, I don't think the town can break victor, why is it everyone else were killed but victor.
The show is really good but they are adding more to the mystery instead of solving them
Victor said the bottle tree always sends his mom to the lighthouse. Not everyone. That line is carefully worded where Victor said specifically, "would always send her to the lighthouse" instead of something like "will always send YOU to the lighthouse" and I think Tabitha basically has the same connection with that place as Victor's mom did

The tree took Dale where he said he wanted to go. Dale said he wanted to go home and get help for the others. The tree took him home (Fromland) and gave him help (Boyd) for the others. In my opinion, they are from From.
Nah more like it sent him back to the one place he wanted so badly to leave. He didn't even make it out of the town lol
@@Sonicbitter100 I think that they don't know that they are originally from From. In my opinion Dale didn't make it out of Fromland because he said he wanted to go home - well, he's already home. He said he wanted to get help - well, they have help, Boyd. Even Victor said From is his home. Most people think he meant that figuratively. But, I think he meant it figuratively and literally.
But, that's what is good about the show. We all are free to have opinions and theories without denying someone else to right to have an opinion or theory.
Even the writers don't know the final outcome - Victor was not supposed to be a main character, and he was only supposed to be in a few episodes. Now, he's one of the show's biggest stars.

I think the boy in white can manipulate (at least to some point) where the people will come out when they enter the farway trees. f.e when he "saved" Boyd by telling him to go into the tree or when Tabitha went to the lighthouse. Also Im not saying the boy in white killed Dale maybe when he is not there the tree takes you to random places

I say this as someone who never missed an episode and hadn’t seen a show quite like it until From came along.
That is because they are the same creators as Lost. I hope they learned from their mistakes for this one.

BIW has directed Sara, Boyd, Tabitha, Victor, Julie, and Ethan. Hes obviously the key to the trees and if he doesnt tell you go thru one, you dont go through it.
Either Miranda was wrong (which I doubt) and the bottle tree doesn’t lead to the lighthouse, or it only transports specific people, like mothers chosen to save children. Besides, regarding that general meeting, everything they said there was nonsense, but at least they should have thought for a moment about the fact that Tabitha escaped Fromville… but after a few days, she returned. So leaving the place isn't enough to free yourself from it if the place isn’t done with you yet.
Going back to the bottle tree, there’s also a third option: opening a bottle with a specific number. After all, in that episode, it was clearly stated what number Tabitha "drew" from the bottle, and it happened right before tree was used. Maybe these are some kind of coordinates for where you’ll end up, but I don’t know how to connect that with the fact that mothers always end up at the lighthouse.
Well, she only said it would lead her to the lighthouse. She never said it would lead just anyone.
What ever happened to that of bottle bile Boyd got from the monster he killed how come he isn't using it on the monsters .
Moving the bottles effected the location. The previous survivors didn't arrange those bottles.for.nothing
It leds to other places because they remove the bottles and the notes in it . Maybe thats the reason why dale doesnt go in the light house.
I would disagree that the boy in white was the sole reasoning for her going to the lighthouse. I think it’d had to do with their role in the loop going on, Tabitha being the next chosen one to free the children would be the reasoning on why she transported to the same place Viktors mom did who was the previous “savior”. Seems like everyone has their own tree they are destined to go through
To add to my theory, I think that’s why the rock Viktor dropped in just pops up in the same spot. Since the rock has no role they are sent to the same place. I’m thinking a phone would do the same thing
I think that tree only leads you out would be if you are going in the tree for unselfish needs. Tabby went in for the kids, Dale went for himself.

In an interview showrunner says if fans stay with the show they have a great story mapped out. Hopefully they're not making up stuff as they go. So far it's a great mystery box.
This is my concern. Are we in for another 'Lost'? These are the same creators and we see the obvious parallels with that show that ended up meandering with no answers and introduced more and more confusing timelines and ridiculous sub-plots that went nowhere as the seasons went on. I hope this is going to be different.

Victor didn’t necessarily control where the rock was going to go when he dropped it in the tree. He specifically says when asked what will happen that “maybe something, maybe nothing” will happen and looks around after dropping the rock to see if he can figure out where it might have dropped before it fell from the sky.

I think Victor may not know that it’s not only the bottle tree that sends you to the lighthouse. One must also hold the contents of (1) of the bottles. Each note acts like a ticket, showing the intended destination of the “traveler”.

Just a thought...... Once any of the bottles, notes in the bottles etc are removed or manipulated, it will effect the destination where the tree will take you....
I really hope they don't drag this show out and it becomes boring and for ever lasting

The entity did not appreciate that Tabitha was trying to learn where the electricity came from, and in fact destroyed the entire house over it. So, yeah, people could write things down and they should; but that does not mean the notes would survive. The notes in Tabitha's old house are never going to be seen again. The entity made sure that the house is just junk now.
