Spent 1 summer working in nearby Port Alice. Port Hardy was my go to place to stock up on groceries, etc. You forgot to mention the Save On Foods in the mall.
I lived here for a few weeks off and on when working up the strait. I loved it here. It's so small and cozy and the people are amazing! I never seen so many awesome people. With the exception of some 'bad apples' I want to go back. lol Thanks for the video! I got a few pictures while there, but no video. Driving up there on tuesday. Lived on the Island my whole 32 years, never even been to Campbell River. I’ve seen more of Egypt than of VI. I hope to see some bears or wolves or something.
Americans think they can "top" Canada in everything. You sure can, in gun violence, murders per capita, political riots, political protests, race riots, racial divides, historical slavery, historical race lynchings, ghettos and no-go zones in your cities, poverty in your southern rural areas, civil wars, unpopular wars, left wing and right wing nut cases, severe drug problems in your population, chronic obesity in your population, sky-high costs for surgery or university, the number of countries world-wide where you are hated and unwelcome, etc etc etc
If you have a day when you don't see a black bear, that is a rare day. Most likely more than one, I counted 6 on one day, with one walking down the main street without a care in the world.
