    How quick and clean were the clean outs for the wallabies. We need that again.

    What a series. To think the Lions had a scoring overlap opportunity in the last 30 seconds too! Drama!!!!
    Fabulous tour. The Lions are special to play whether you are British/Irish or one of the Southern Hemisphere sides. Roll on 2013

      Wallabies had to markedly improve their speed and precision at the breakdown after being done over by the Lions pack in the first game.

    If you made a team similar to the lions but with the tri nations then it would consist of 90% NZ players and 10% SA/ Australian players. And England thrashed NZ last time out, although that probably was a one off. And I don't think that a Southern Hemisphere Lions team would annihilate a northern hemisphere team.

    what a tackle by george gregan

  • @rugbygeorge14
    @rugbygeorge14 11 років тому

    @RoryLion Well by your logic it's not a thrashing unless you win by around 76 points, and I guarantee that they would beat the North consistently, but they wouldn't annihilate them. Although personally Id argue that 38-14 is a thrashing when you look back at previous England vs NZ games

    What a match to remember 12 years later....can the Wallabies do it again

    Actually most don't play together - the Irish and Welsh and Scottish play in the Magners League, the English play in the Premiership - and that isnt even always true, some play in the French Top 14. And at least in the southern hemisphere all the top players play in the Super 15, so are playing world class opposition every week.

    North-South divide wise, I think it's interesting that we haven't had a South-South final since 1995.

    Colin Welsh Charvis. OMFG what was that?? THAT was the lost series due to that one option to do some lame kick and not set the ball up for your players to win and give to Wilko to nail it down field

  • @rorylion5168
    @rorylion5168 11 років тому +1

    Yes they would ... absolutely annihilate them. Pity there isnt a SANZA team tour, would be very interesting. And England only beat NZ well last November, but they didnt thrash them, a thrashing is losing by 76 - 0 ... like England did in Australia in 98

    Its a different Australian team to 2001 I think aussie will win their coach aint going out without a fight and what a way to end his time with the Wallabies if he dont get the contract renewed. im a Springbok supporter living in New Zealand and im 100% backing the australian's to win. South hemisphere is just on top sorry to the north

    What an amazing series that was! Hopefully the lions will get it this time round, I can't see this wallabies squad being able to match the lions

    You're definitely right about the Southern Hemisphere team haha. In fairness, the talent pool in the Southern Hemisphere may not be as big as in the North, but the quality is another step up...probably why SH teams are so dominant

    • @gwyllt5633
      @gwyllt5633 4 роки тому +1

      You want to watch the southern queen's and Toyota pussies who play in the pro 14 oversized talentless no disapline 3 rd rate and should be booted out of the league

  • @philipeafroboy1
    @philipeafroboy1 12 років тому

    In fairness to the lions, they are a team full of players who don't know many of the other players, apart from their own international teams, and they have a completely new coaching staff to what they are used to. Then they only have a few weeks of playing together to establish the Test team...whereas the wallabies, all blacks and springboks are teams who are hardened and ready. Also, the tours are always at the beginning of season for the Lions, so they havent played rugby for ages

  • @irishmurph123
    @irishmurph123 11 років тому

    i think the lions could win this years tour tho

    I was thinking Jake White should work with Robbie Deans teach him how to win at an international level because his been useless. i reali thought yes his won lots of titles with the crusaders his going to do a miracle for Australia especially against NZ nope just disappointment. I think the Brumbies and Reds are doing well so that could work in your favour usually wen the Super15 teams do well Wallabies have a good season

      Of course not. One eyed myopic probably AB supporter. What about Mike Gibson who is lauded in SH as one of the best centres to ever play the game? Suppose he was crap n all.
