I love Harumo on Sax. She plays like the masters in jazz funk. This group includes Juna on bass, Emi on piano, and MiMi on drums can bring the funk with precision and style. On top of their great talent, they are beautiful.

I've been watching Juna with Muses and the Jazz Avengers for a while now. Whenever she's about to throw it down she does this little dance step, spreading her feet apart like "look out, here comes sumo bass!"
Completely knocked me off my feet, and that bass player, has spent a lot of time watching "MY PEOPLE" show the entire planet how a bass is supposed 2 talk. Priceless.

Juna-chan, you have the soul and cool instrumental presence of Jimi Hendrix. And Mimi-chan! Holy smokes. You have the precision and speed of Buddy Rich turned funk. Amazing

Fantastic groove. Double bass and 60s keyboard tones with solid drumming and Bird like sax. Great to hear musicians who value this music so much. Would love to hear a double bill with them and Lettuce.

The bass duet throughout the entire song sounds solid and rich, adding a deep rhythm enhanced by the different sounds of the two bass guitars along with the different playing styles of Rina and Juna. My favourite TGJ version of this song yet. And of course, Mimi's drumming is fascinatingly smooth!
