Spy in the Wild is back in one of the most innovative natural history series ever presented. This time it deploys over 50 ultra-realistic animatronic Spy Creatures to go undercover across every region of the world. The 4 x 60 series captures some of the most extraordinary animal behaviour ever seen, filmed from inside the animal world.
Using special state-of-the-art 4k resolution “Spy Creatures” the viewer is plunged into the very heart of the extraordinary lives of over 40 remarkable animals. They reveal previously unseen behaviour as animals gather, feed, fight and breed in among some of the greatest wildlife gatherings ever witnessed. This team of hyper-real Spy Creatures not only look like the animals they film, they behave like them too. Accepted by the families, these robotic look-alikes can not only film from an intimate perspective they also interact with the animals and so gain revelatory insights into their worlds.
Each episode explores a different climatic region of the world and is packed with its own menagerie of animatronic Spy Creatures and extraordinary animal subjects. They discover how the animals have adapted their behaviour to not only cope, but often flourish, wherever they live. At times, their subjects occur in incredible numbers creating astonishing gatherings, found nowhere else on earth. From the hot and humid Tropics, to the freezing Poles, the seasonal North and the world’s most spectacular Islands, this new series of Spy in the Wild will transport the audience deeper into the animal world than ever thought possible.

0:44, I just love the way robospy owl shows up, it's pretty funny. Still this is awesome.
Yeah it's just chilling in the air
its funnier the more you watch it
Derp eyed owl robot showing up like - (0 \/ 0)
they try to make it seem like its stealthy, its just a noisy buzzing drone with an owl shell lol
@@chrishayes5755 That's part of the joke :D
Baby wolves: "Ok think we get it"...starts to eat eachother :3
Beef is back on the menu boys.
Seeing the puppies mimicking the adults fighting the muskox was hilariously cute.
@Untrepid One you're being so stupid. They have every right to hunt. Look what humans do to non-humans. You can't judge other species for killing. I don't consider cannibalism in New Guinea as bad, it's just the Papuan's way of life. Predation keeps populations at healthy levels, which benefits all.
Not cute at all reminds me of murderers and then teaching their kids to murder.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sorry. They have. 🤪🤪
@@BlGGESTBROTHER you are technically correct... the best kind of correct 😆
What always amazes me, is how large wolves can actually be. A musk ox is considered to be large yet these wolves look to stand almost half its height. I know mass is much different but still. Amazing footage. 😊👍🏻
In a museum i saw the body of an arctic wolf next to a tiger (sumatran may be), both were equal in size, almost 2 time bigger than german shepherd.
🤦🏽♂️
@@djuakalisubwakeli170 so wolf are bigger than lion
@@mathildegaye8492 no
That's either a small female musk ox or a subadult. Musk ox are small at adult weight of 250-400kg. Though some really huge males rarely reach 500kg.
2 minutes silence for those who thinks kangal can beat a wolf
I love the spy robots. It gives a new perspective & makes watching shows about nature interesting again
This offers a new perspective. Beautiful shots and scenery. Felt like I was there.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!
You were there. 0_0
if u 👩🏿🦱were there..u could have been a desert for the wolves😒🧁🍰🎂

stupid animals
I wonder what strategy would have saved those oxes. It was sad to see the ox surrender. The tragic part is, it would've been a slow and painful death unlike a lion/tiger kill.
@@TheKomentor That's a bad assumption. check out the video: "Graphic Video Warning - African Lions consume live warthog" The warthog literally gets eaten alive. Its legs kick and it squeals while the lions feast on it via the soft underbelly. Seems like with smaller prey, the lions sometimes prioritize eating over killing.
Fantastic filming. Thank you for sharing this.
You're welcome!
Well, them wolves are eating good that day.

Quality work. I imagine this takes a huge amount of effort, preparation, and knowledge.

2:24 that Ox was like wtf is that🤨
My admiration to Narrator David Tennant. He what makes such documentaries so thrilling.
Pretty good reality to warp into Doctor
Yes big up Mr Tennant. Love his narration too
Weird Scottish guy
If the Oxen would've tried to defend the old female, the calf's could have perished. Although it's just my guess, it would seem to make sense. Nature is so harsh but it makes the right decisions.
Ух ты, это Девид Тэннант? 😄😍

Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
Who recorded the owl
@@BeKaachimaybe they have cameras that can take long distance shot i dunno much about cameras lol

I like how we humans are so confident we can just sneak a robot in and nobody will notice. Like you're chilling with your family and suddenly one day there's a robotic human at the table like "hi family. How are you doing today."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A Musk Ox that size will last the pack of Artic Wolves a week or more. The pups were knowledgeable enough to stay back. Once their Parents and the others closed in to take the Musk Ox down. Enjoyed this look into the daily lives of an Artic Wolf pack.. 💪🏼🙏🏻😅
The look in spy Snowy Owl's eyes make it seem it has been traumatized
I felt so bad but that’s just how the animal kingdom works

I've been a wolf fan for as long as I can remember, and even though there are countless documentaries on wolves out there, I have never seen anything as spectacular as this footage before. I literally got goosebumps, watching how calculated, ferocious and deadly these wolves can be. We tend to form parallels to our dogs when we see wolves, and thereby underestimate their skill and power. Eating humble pie and regaining our awe for nature does us humans some good. Thank you for the hard work and effort you put into producing this masterpiece!
felt exactly the same! also such a wolf fan and I still have goosebumps. This was really raw, wild, intimidating and fascinating footage.
Thank you both! Very kind words!
@@JohnDownerProd also the choice of background music was perfect (this electro drumming stuff), it really added to the dramatic situation!
Wolves are cool , grizzlies are the epitome of cunning and awesome
@@ryanesau8147 I do not agree :P I love both but I find wolves a certain kind of fascinating
2:37 I don't know why but I found the pitter patter of the wolves little feet so cute!
The great lesson here is that The Old Ox have sacrificed herself for the herd instead of running and risking the life of the rest. Not like our Kings who hides behind and let the army dies in vein. A true Leader. Respect
In my democracy its called the Prime minister
She didnt sacrifice herself. He said she was the slowest. She was old and slower than the rest so she got eaten. Survival of the fittest
@@Unkn0wn1133 still, she didnt try to run. babies are more better for them to eat
This is a beautiful video! I think the best part, though, is the airplane owl
We need to preserve these rare ox population
Thank you for sharing
What if, by “preserving” one population, subsequently you destroy another population?
Is that ok?
Let nature sort itself out. That’s what is supposed to happen. It’s called survival of the fittest, evolution.

Bro the ox died you like things dying
This is spectacular! What a tragic and beautiful drama. Those wolf pups are amazingly sweet too.
Feeling strong, the ox didn't escape as soon as possible to his herd, sadly it led to his fate.
Fantastic as always!
This is truly amazing, the scenery is on the next level, its just a great perspective for us. I felt alive and there while watching. Thank you for the incredible footage! 🌈✨
lmao the puppy wolves just chilling 🤣🤣
This is my favorite show❤️🤩
Did anyone else experience sadness when the wolf pack left a robot pup behind.. Bravo to all those involved in the making of this incredible film.
Amazing filming! ... Just reading 'Arctic Dreams' by Lopez. His description of Musk ox being attacked is perfectly demonstrated here.
I never knew that the pups watched :O
how else would they learn how to hunt?
@@jessemurray1757 :|
This just left me wanting more
"Such battles can last an hour" They can last much longer then an hour, hunts can take days before a kill finally goes down, if it only took an hour then they prey was very lucky
If they have the prey held like in the video the prey wouldn't struggle for days, not enough energy too, an hour at most before it gives up fighting. Normally hunts lasting days is due to prey getting away able to take off and run making the wolves have to retrack it.
@@testerwulf3357 When the prey is broken away from the heard true it won't last days, still unlikely it would be over in an hour
A bison cant fight for much more than an hour with that many wolves.. the narrator was right u are wrong. Exhaustion sets in quick for that size animal with a pack of wolves like that.
Love the Spy Owl....But the spy Wolf is the Cutest....Great work to all inolved..
Thank you very much!

Owl too cute thick🤣🤩That camera angle following the runnin babaaays wolves on ground so stunning👍👏 devastating to watch but its all lifecycle...
Great footage aside from clearly bothering the wolves with the buzzing drone
ur videos are always incredible
Thank you! That's very kind of you.
That's really awesome !!
Glad they produce new videos
As long they stay together they have a chance. That’s bold going after the biggest one, but they’re not small wolves either. Kinda makes you think, how people survived when you see something like this.
Didn't know wolfs take on such big prey, I feel less safe 😂
Me: are you ok? You haven't touched your soup.
Spy date: *starts slapping table*
Me: oh I see.
At first I forgot that the video was about an owl and was imbued with the story of a robot cub who fell behind the pack and almost shed a tear when he sat down... But then this shit 0:44 flew out from behind the hill and I died of laughter
I could do this documentary work in my sleep.
Of course awake I don't think I could.
These are so interesting !Thank You !
damn that's one of the beautiful shots I've ever seen. great work . hope the drone sound didn't disturb them
This is beautifully captured and a captivating story. Wow.
These spy animals ideas are amazing
This channel deserves 20+ millions subs.
Magnifique prise de vue. Une immersion totale comme si nous y étions pour de vrai. Mention spécial aux producteurs de ce joyau.
The owl looks so funny😂
This is so much better than the old animal documentaries I watched as a kid. I feel like I'm right there witnessing something I only read about in books. Amazing how far we've come and how awesome drone technology has gotten.
Couldn't disagree more. old animal documentaries (1990's) were far superior. This is not a documentary it's a raw video of a drone.
Thank you for the video man
No problem 👍 You're most welcome!
Gosh. It looks so lifelike🤪...these wolves must be thinking "are humans really so stupid"?.
The script of this masterpiece is like a movie. :D
"...the robo pup tried to catch up to the wolves but just watched the pack as it leaves with a sad eye, unable to follow....
But then behind a hill emerged his friend - the robo snow owl.
XD
With all the new drone and camera tech that the didn’t have just 10 years ago I can’t wait for long form BBC nature content!

The owl triggers some serious uncanny valley.
GREAT VIDEO
Exhausted, She gives up the fight. The most depressing line...
What made the appearance of the owlcopter even better for me is that it is being meticulously narrated by who appears to be Scrooge McDuck
Wolves gotta eat too
Amazing!
Wow . This is great content
A friend of mine went into Musk Ox territory one day. Suddenly a whole herd came over the hill. And... Well, they're not afraid of humans. Because they don't have to be. They can easily kill humans lol. And they're angry. So the poor guy climbed the nearest tree, a small one, but just enough to get his feed about a foot above the horns. He had to stay up there, hanging on to thing twigs, for eight hours before the flock moved on lol.
That's why you keep a weapon, kill one and bring it home 🥩🍖🍗
@@artistdigitalnah- it’s their territory, just leave them alone and enjoy them from a distance, they’ve got plenty to worry about already.
