I would not recommend any of the cleaning or maintenance apps. They promise to make your Mac faster, but in reality, they can actually slow it down. Often, when I hear about someone with a slow Mac and ask if they have one of these apps installed, they do-and when they uninstall it, everything runs smoothly again
Thumbs up for the inclusion of Paste and CleanShotX, both are fantastically useful! Another app I just came across recently which is very handy if you are a designer is ScreenToLayers. It's free and captures your screen, but saves everything as individual Photoshop layers, which then lets you isolate, move, delete or adjust everything after the fact. Seriously incredible if you need to demonstrate stuff on screen for documentation or videos.

my only issue with clean my Mac is that the advertising with things like "you know when you buy a Mac and within a year its slow" Whilst holding a m1pro 14 inch MacBook so its just a lie for the laptop they are talking about. Something that just irks me a little.
I like Dato more than Today. Same dev, has all the functionality of Today, but also gives you a mini calendar and customable number of upcoming events in the menu bar.
Oliur, which calendar app do you use? I too have been using Spark for email, an older version which has calendar built in, but have experienced a tonne of problems. I'd be tempted to upgrade to Spark 3 and use a separate calendar but unsure which to go for!
The only thing holding me back from getting a different screenshot/record app is the annotation tools on the default one. I, as a student, find myself using the annotation tool a lot, especially when I'm doing maths homework online. When screenshot it and click on the thumbnail in the bottom corner, it automatically opens on my iPhone/iPad for me to annotate, and any changes I make automatically sync on my Mac. And the Image I screenshotted is only saved on my Mac

Spark app is not good. Aesthetically good, yeah, but lacks in core functionality. Email search is slow and garbage. with the same search term i can find the email in the Apple's mail app whereas Spark does not provide the result. Likewise, lot of functionality issues. Mail with large attachments is very slow and sometimes fails. I just wish Apple's mail app had all good things of Spark.
Oliur. What’s sad about Clean Shot X is that it cannot record a selected window, a selected area and then allow you to move it, after recording starts. It’s a static record of specific area of your screen. It cannot do what basic programs do. Let’s say you drag your record window away. You’re now recording your background. If you drag a document over what you’re recording (say a video call). It records the document. If you minimize it, it’s recording audio basically. This clean shot X needs an update with this feature Asap
I really love the wallpapers on the background. In a monotone environment those flash of colors really level up the look . Will definitely purchase the wallpaper pack soon someday when I can create my own setup. Great video Oliur!
Good video except for the sponsor part. There are no viruses for Mac in the wild and to insinuate there are is spreading misinformation. Let the product speak for itself as a decent Mac cleaner and uninstaller.

Subscription for me is never cost effective than one time purchase , this year i will try to reduce every subscription based service as possible

You can use command + shift + either (3,4,5) for capturing screenshot and screen record in differnet ways.
